The Matrix Reloaded

The first part was quite interesting. The references to Alice in Wonderland, the staged fights were also cool (better than in the second one), and the plot was basically not bad. The story of Laura was not dull. And the cliffhanger is cool at the end. But the subsequent parts (the second and third, which are basically halves of the same film) do not justify themselves at all. A great start and a mediocre sequel, which in principle could not have been done without, but it would have been better if the franchise had just been closed and we would have whined about its absence. You will find a terrible game of actors, stupid love lines, not exciting fights, and for dessert a literal retelling of the story of Hades and Persephone (these fools even called Persephone's analogue in the film Persephone......). The only thing in the second film that I liked from the plot is the twist with Agent Smith
