Description
In the winter of 1982, a twelve-man research team at a remote Antarctic research station discovers an alien buried in the snow for over 100,000 years. Soon unfrozen, the form-changing creature wreaks havoc, creates terror... and becomes one of them.

The ending is illogical. Macready said that we should burn everything here so that this creature doesn't freeze, and in the end, when he met with Charles, he said that the test wouldn't change anything. Charles may well be an imitation, freeze, and everything will start over sooner or later. Why not take a test or, in the end, just burn each other, since you're going to die anyway?
It looks modern even now.
In one bottle: fiction, horror, detective. Keeps the whole movie in suspense. Music also contributes to this.
Sometimes you want the film industry to forget about computer graphics, and, as in this film, make the same plausible special effects.
