Ghostbusters: Afterlife

A pretty good continuation of the legendary dilogy, but there is a lack of atmosphere and colorfulness of previous films, and the ending is generally a complete disappointment for me, imho.

Personally, I really liked it. I consider it an ideal continuation and a full-fledged third part. A good story, good actors, the children played beautifully, the girl was chosen so perfectly. plus the participation of the original actors.

No, well, this movie is ghostbusters, too. They made quite logical connections with previous films, introduced new characters, and put everything on the rails that are familiar today. It is clear that it does not reach the level of the first parts a little. But up to the level of some quite strong films of that era - quite to myself. I looked at it not without pleasure, but some details are still annoying. They say these are all good ghosts — why didn't they explain where they come from. Why did this happen only to this character, and not to the rest of the inhabitants of the whole town? Well, some of the characters here seem to have taken up to inflate the timing. We'll have to wait for the second part of the reboot. Let's see what happens there.

I don't understand why it was necessary to take stupid children to the main roles. Are there really no normal actors in their 20s and 30s? It looks ridiculous. And the battle with ghosts sucks completely, even in the 2016 remake it looks exciting, even though there are crazy aunts. I gave 2.5 out of 5 only for the presence of old actors and nostalgic moments.

Adult uncles and aunts who didn't like the movie, are you serious? This part was released in 2021 with an age limit of +12. This film was not made for the generation of that first part of the hunters, released as much as 40 years ago and with a limit of +18. The difference is clearly visible. Just watch this movie with your children or nephews, they will definitely like it.
