She was not shown to people in cinemas and on TV, only on dvd and on the Internet. If you watch it without it, then these are stupid mega-zombies who want to eat and destroy everything, as in many clashed films about zombies, monsters.
In the book, the megazombi presented " were intelligent vampires who did not lose their mind, speech, and created a new society.Even gg's infected friend visited him every evening near the house, though he wanted to lure him out and devour him. If you look at the vampires (in the book), the real monster for them was gg (Robert Neville) because he came in the morning when they were sleeping in their house and killed them and their children. It was like the evolution of all mankind, a new species. Of course, this evolution was forced without choice, but this is also the main meaning of the work written in the book. It shows how you can't go against the majority and if you don't want to be like them, they'll kill you.

Хорошая постановка первой половины фильма. Хорошая игра Смита. Но после прочтения книги очень тяжело высоко оценить сценарий данной картины, так как он сильно разочаровывает.

пересмотрела с альт концовкой, с ней фильм по-другому воспринимается, лучше, когда-то балдела от кино, сейчас нет, но неплохо.
книгу читала оч давно, на тот момент не понравилась, хочется перечитать как-нибудь.

очень красочный, интересный и эмоциональный фильм. прям чувствуешь на себе эту атмосферу апокалипсиса, будто бы сам находишься в фильме.

Не зря люди выше нахваливают альтернативную концовку, теперь она канон, а действие заявленного продолжения "будет разворачиваться спустя десятилетия после событий первой части, авторы покажут мир, который захватила природа, вдохновляясь The Last of Us."
Помимо Смита появится и Майкл Б. Джордан.
