Description
Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling adventure that will change her life forever.
The tape turned out to be cute and lamp-like.
You can watch it once in the evening and enjoy it, but you do not need to wait for something masterpiece from it.
The tape has an excellent cast, with well-acting actors, as well as good costumes, graphics, excellent camerawork, and I also want to mention a cute and interesting plot.
Although he was cliched, but I think it's better to close your eyes to it.
This film seemed to me worse than "Pete and his Dragon" (just "Pete" and "Peter" were shot by one director, David Lowry), but at the level of "Pan: Travels to Neverland" (2015), and also slightly better than "Artemis Fowl" and the life-action "Beauties and Monsters."
David Lowry ("The Legend of the Green Knight", "Pete and his Dragon") made, maybe not his best film, but he made a good adventure tape at once.
My rating is something between 7-8 out of 10, but more than 7 after all!
PS: By the way, the end is almost not canonical to the original cartoon, but I don't want to spoiler it!
PS: Well, I want to mention Jude Law as Captain Hook separately.
In this role, he was gorgeous.
Jude Law was the only one who was nice to look at.
I didn't like the movie.
In general, I liked the film adaptation. It is no better than the 2003 film adaptation, but it is interesting and very kind.
