Description
The youngest of King Triton’s daughters, and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea, and while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. To begin with, I think the cartoon is just good, even though I understand that it has already become a masterpiece of world animation.
I've been waiting for the film since the first announcements, and yesterday I watched it and what can I say?
The Little Mermaid is the best life—action remake since Cinderella, the tape is excellent, exciting, kind, interesting.
After watching, there are pleasant feelings and a good mood for the whole day.
And I will not understand all the negativity towards this film, on the contrary, I want to protect this film, because it is the same "The Little Mermaid" only shot for a new generation, with some small changes.
Holly Bailey is gorgeous as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy is gorgeous as Ursula, and Sebastian is purely my mood in life, Scuttle was infuriating.
The actors played great, and everything!
The plot is excellent, I repeat that it is interesting and not boring.

The musical numbers are the best part of the film, they are beautifully shot!

И что касается ремейка, я почувствовала дикую ностальгию. Нравился мне в детстве мультик, а тут прям скопировали многие сцены из прошлого.
Вот люди странный народ. Когда делают ремейк , то обычно сценарий переписывают на современный лад, и многие плюются, мол, "тот персонаж выглядит совсем иначе, а вот такую фразу он не мог сказать, а вот почему это вот так вот, а чего того нет? В оригинале было все по-другому!" И вот в ремейке всё сделали практически, как в мультике, а многим все-равно почему-то не то!

Конечно, сам фильм, наверное, на троечку. Но когда ты какой-нибудь шестилетка, то всё так красочно, красиво, яркая картинка и музыка, замысловатые песни, погружаешься в эту сказку.
Даже Урсула стала огромной и устроила воронку, как в мультике! Я даже забыла этот момент, пока не увидела на экране. Понятное дело, графика творит чудеса, однако даже такие детали включили в фильм, и это здорово. То, как Ариэль поет в своей пещере, как наблюдает за фейерверками, как они с Эриком на озере в кругу кучи огоньков.. все это так погружает в сказку!)
Жаль только в конце она не эффектно выходила из моря в красивом платье, но и на том спасибо..)
О, ну и теперь я хотя бы знаю, о чем пелось в тех песнях. Хорошо, что адаптировали на русский)) а то в мультфильме все звучало на языке оригинала..

Фильм очень длинный, к середине стало скучно смотреть.
Если уж выбирать темненькую Ариэль, неужто мало красивых актрис? Страшненькая, да ещё эти дреды отвратительные. Где роскошные волны рыжих волос Ариэль? Все в угоду толерантности у поклонников отняли!
Платье Ариэль - мешок голубой. Ни фигуры не подчеркивает, да и не идёт ей... Лучше уж белое тогда. И да, выше написали про выход из воды в сияющем платье... Самое огромное мое разочарование... Финалка ну никакая! А свадебное в мультике какое было?
Где повар Луи? Он был прекрасен... Лучше было эфирное время отдать ему, чем перебиранию ГГ безделушек Эрика... И да - Урсула красавица. Оба воплощения. Эрик, как по мне, и без чар в нее бы влюбился... Ариэль тут проигрывает по всем фронтам.
Сестры страшные... А вот Тритон красавец! Он порадовал, идеальное попадание.
Ну и опять же - почему не Эрик убил Урсулу? Опять сильные женщины в почете?
Я разочаровалась. Не вижу смысла петь дифирамбы, если фильм не зашёл от слова совсем. Дочка старшая, которая тоже росла на Русалочке, и ходила со мной в кино, тоже плевалась...
Помню, как в детстве меня этот мультик впечатлял пожалуй больше всех из мультиков Disney про принцесс. Как я его любила пересматривать тогда ещё на DVD 😍
Может поэтому от накатившейся ностальгии по тому времени я могла немного и переоценить данный фильм 2023 года, но все же мне понравился. Красивый, чарующий и сюжет сильно далеко не отходит от оригинальной мультяшной истории. Так что если не делать акцента на смелый ход с темнокожей Ариэль, а просто наслаждаться самой историей, то всё не так уж и плохо. К тому же в целом это выглядело даже гармонично, учитывая, что она была не единственной в этой киноленте с тёмным цветом кожи. Присутствует канон сюжета, но не всех героев. И, тем не менее, фильм достоин внимания считаю. Особенно Мелисса Маккарти в роли Урсулы вообще шикарная 🔥
P. S. А тем временем ещё замечаю, что заставка Disney (с замком) становится всё более и более реалистичной. Красота✨
Она старается, пытается, но вот не вижу в ней Ариэль. Вот лично для меня она одна смогла заруинить весь фильм, всё-таки не угадали с актрисой(

Зато из плюсов дух сказки и волшебства, красивенные саундтреки, офигенская картинка, которая очень-очень-очень радует глаз, и конечно, любовь. Настоящая. Которая появляется не только из-за того, что встретились красивые он и она. А от родственности душ.
Ну и отдельный плюс - это сама Урсула. Харизма актрисы столь мощная, что хочется смотреть и смотреть на нее... Хотя когда первый раз ее показали, аж вздрогнула) жуткое знакомство О_о
Как я уже сказал — странная штука, чье существование можно объяснить только желанием сохранять авторские права... ну или чем-то подобным.

Holly is a very beautiful girl with a wonderful voice and she doesn't have to be white to play the little mermaid. She is not an actress, and in my opinion this is her first role, in my opinion she did well. Yes, this is not a canon, but in general, the whole image is far from the original. As is the plot.
What was really amazing was the happy ending at the end. Och on Disney.
The essence of the little mermaid is that she sacrificed her own life for love. And here there is no suffering, pain like on the edge of a knife when walking, disappointment and death. In a moment, she changes her tail to her legs, gets married and sails off on a journey. It ended too well. The original story is more original and unlike the others, when a girl is rescued by a prince, marries her and the birds sing. I would like to see something different. But it is possible that the creators expected that children would watch it, and they need a happy ending.
And such a gorgeous Ursula definitely needs her own movie.
I also didn't really understand why the seagull was made a woman. Flounder looks like he's hooked on something and has been using it for a long time, only his voice saves Sebastian... The Triton folder seems to be nothing, but it resembles an aqua man in old age. I liked the drawn underwater world. It's a pity that I watched it on a small screen, the impressions would have been brighter.

I dreamed so much about the canonical Ariel with gorgeous scarlet hair developing in the water, but in the end I got an incomprehensible mop with dreadlocks the color of silt. Utter disappointment.
Of all the old cartoons, I loved the little mermaid the most and waited many years for her debut not as an animation, and here it's a bummer not even a year, but a century😭😭😭
If they hadn't positioned this film as a remake and didn't use the original names, I would have put all 10 and would gladly review it again, and so for mocking my favorite characters I put a personal -100 out of 10.
Most likely, I will not be objective, since I watched the cartoon so long ago, when it was still with one-voice voiceover and I heard the translations of the songs for the first time. You can take a look, maybe one day I will revise and compare, but at the moment the film is rated higher than the cartoon. I looked at a lot of things differently.
I didn't like it:
- skinny Flounder (hello Pumbaa);
- blurred faces over water (I understand what kind of realism is supposed to be here, but still);
- Eric's clumsy song;
- Ariel never learned to walk.
Otherwise, I enjoyed watching.
P.S. half of the movie I thought that the queen was Ariel's mom😄
