The moment of fixing the Terminator is forever in my memory.
Cameron finally got a good budget for his film, and a man who has changed the film industry more than once appeared to people.
For me, Terminator is first and foremost one of the best love stories I've ever seen on screen. I even call it an insanely romantic movie, but in fact the story is scary and tragic. especially for Kyle. He died without knowing that John was his son. The poor man didn't even know HOW important he was. There would be nothing without him. Kyle Reese, you will always be a legend to me. actually, one of the best male characters and one of my favorites.
I love how Michael Bean played Kyle, his voice, all his intonations, facial expressions, emotions. the dude conveyed the image perfectly.
I actually love everything about this movie. and Arnie is great in character. although I am as indifferent to Schwarzenegger as possible, but this is where he is really good. One massacre at a police station is worth it, it's chic. and this accent of his adds zest to the image.
plus, as many have unsubscribed above, cinema is still relevant in our time, given the development of all this AI.
What else can I add is that I watched the first movie when I was quite an adult, and I loved the second part as a child. and when I watched the first one, it felt like I'd never seen this movie at all in my life, but in the end it made me fall in love with myself much more. and the more time passes, the more I love him.
It's not as fancy as the following parts, but that's the whole point. No extra tinsel. It's just that a reinforced concrete bumpkin from the future is stupidly following you like a nightmare. You can't stop him, he doesn't bargain, he doesn't get tired. It gives me the creeps.
Arnie as a robot is a brilliant choice. He hardly speaks, but he's terrifying with just one look and one walk. And the atmosphere is dirty Los Angeles at night, the police are powerless. It feels like the characters are in real danger.
In short, a reference thriller. Not a "blockbuster," but a tough, smart, and tenacious story. You look at it and you understand why it has become iconic. It's just perfectly made.
