Hocus Pocus 2

The film is not bad. But the atmosphere is a little different when compared to the first film. But I was so glad to see my beloved Sanderson sisters)

In general, the film cannot be called bad. There is humor, thought and acting. The children will definitely come in. Of course, there is no such fantasy atmosphere as in the 1991 film, but it turned out well.

It was an interesting return to a favorite story. I was pleased with everything from the Disney screensaver to the very screensaver of the film. The actresses were chosen perfectly. I was glad to see the old Guard and Merlin's beard, how amazing they look in these images!
It was a pleasure to notice the Easter eggs for the first part, I hoped that the grown-up characters would also slip through, but no)
Otherwise, it turned out to be a typical Disney story with a somewhat merged (for me personally) ending in their best traditions.
I'm unlikely to review it as the first part, only if it's the very beginning, but it's worth watching once)

I was sooo glad to see the Sanders sisters return (all the actresses, thank heaven, are alive and well and back to their roles!!). Just their appearance on the screen made me smile. Of course, the sisters have aged, but how else if they are constantly prevented from eating the kids.

The story turned out to be kind of flat or something... You don't worry too much about schoolgirls, and neither do their friendships. There's even more drowning for Sanders, so that they finally managed to enslave the city, well, so that at least some kind of more or less threat to the population looms (in the first part, at least they managed to subdue all the children to their will, although the witches were prevented), or they didn't even really have time to do anything, only the musical number helped Find the mayor's house, and it's already the end of the movie. Although maybe I'm being picky. After all, as a child, it would seem that the simplest films can leave an indelible magical impression, but I grew up 🙂

I liked the jokes: harmless and modern)) And also, did you notice that the first part of the Hocus Pocus was shown on TV?)))

PS Actresses for the role of small versions of the Sanders sisters were picked up awesome. Winifred looks just like you!

Not a bad movie, but weaker than the first part

I am glad to see the Sanders sisters back, because Hocus Pocus was one of my favorite films in my youth.
It is a pity that very little attention was paid to the seal. I thought he would be one of the main characters.
We are waiting for the third part)))

I liked the movie in the beginning, but the ending and the ending are too blurry, boring and uninteresting. The first part turned out to be much better and more lamp-like (and no, not because of duckling syndrome, since I watched the first film for the first time in 2020), and the child actors play much better. Let's see what happens in the third part, which has not been released yet.

She grew up on the first film, but, like Beetlejuice, the second part of hocus pocus came out weaker. But! I can't say that it's much worse. The same line-up is just generally mental, although, and despite the fact that the Sanders sisters were not supposed to grow old, they were poorly made up. The ending is also not in Vinnie's style, of course, she got emotional somehow quickly and gave up what she wanted for three centuries, but you can also understand her, because her sisters are the only ones who didn't turn away from her, the ones she appreciates the most... It would be interesting to see what happens to the girls, since they have just gained strength, but this is a completely different story ... 😉

I watched both movies at once today. They probably won't support me, but I liked them both about the same, they're just different and about different things, even though the general theme of the films is the same. The Sanders sisters are mischievous charmers, I'm looking forward to the third movie. 🧟♂️🕷️🧹
