the most terrible rubilovo.
It's a very immersive film, especially from the second half. I am under the impression
that it is a pity that they did not show how the life of the survivors turned out.

The Normandy landings: they made it just a reference, how impressive it is when you are still a fan of historical reproductions and various details in the prospect of recreating everything that happened in general, goosebumps go. The beginning of the film immediately takes away all the sympathy and then the philosophy of the picture works even harder. Some people don't like the plot, they say an important operation is underway, and here they are looking for the only living child in the family to send him to his relatives as a demob. And I think this is some kind of metaphorical allegory that a person's life is valuable in itself, even in the meat grinder of history. The fighters ask themselves this question with the prisoners, with themselves and the peaceful environment. And here we can reflect and ask new questions, it's better this way than to consume mindlessly. After all, the victory of the individual over the mass is some kind of victory for humanity. Well, if it's based on the plot and the script. Otherwise, everything is just as perfect, technically as I wrote above, it's fine, if the initial scene is excellent, then there is something to praise further, the intensity of passions does not fall and the stakes are still high. The war looks plausible. The cast didn't disappoint, there's not even anything to write about, the work is beyond praise.

They used to make films.. Almost three hours (!) and you can't tear yourself away, everything is in one breath. And now, in two hours of the film, you can eat 10 times, pee three times and sleep in between. And you won't lose anything.

James Frederick Ryan (from Minnesota), listens to how his high school brothers died in battle. This is none other than Nathan Fillion (Firefly https://myshows.me/view/36 / , Rookie https://myshows.me/view/57484 / ) - the future star of sci-fi blockbusters and a regular of comic books

The legendary creation of Steven Spielberg. An epic war drama with a great cast and stunning battle scenes. The scene of the Normandy landings can rightfully be considered one of the best in cinema, so far no one has shot something as large-scale and exciting.
