In "The Story of a real Man" this is about how it was shown, and there the guy lost his legs altogether, if anything.
It's a very atmospheric and powerful film. So much pain in one movie..
There are so many things to overcome and still remain strong in spirit and go to the end.
The encounter with the bear, the fighting, it's all so lively.. It's very cool, you feel so much emotion when watching. And it's like you're living all these moments with the characters. 🏹
I really liked the deep and beautiful music. Conveys the whole atmosphere.
It was unexpected to see Hardy)
Gorgeous cast. 🔥
It's a very cold movie, full of pain and sadness. I really liked it, especially with Leo.. 👀 I
recommend 🔥🔥
It took me a long time to get around to it, because it's hard for me to watch movies that run for more than two hours (unless it's Cameron, of course). But I found the time... and... it's probably not what I expected (after the big stories about Oscar DiCaprio). The film seemed long from the very beginning, about 1.5 minutes show water, then a waterfall, then a forest... So collect a little bit and you can carve a good half hour... The first hour could have been shortened, because of the significant things there was a fight with a bear, Indians, Fitzgerald's betrayal and an exchange with the French. Could it have been shortened to, well, half an hour? Without repeated inserts about his wife, arson, the thoughts of the duma and the beauties of nature. And the movie itself looked good to me... Is it difficult? Too much blood and meat, or something. It's not necessary to show every lacerated wound on the whole screen every time. From the latter, the "Ugly Sister" looked equally unpleasant. But, I decided to finish watching. Still, Hardy, DiCaprio, and Poulter are a good line-up. Besides, I don't like to leave something in the middle... Then, of course, the film got shaky. The scene with my son... The first thing a parent did was go to look for their child... Apart from the moments, of course, how does he manage to crawl so fast, all torn up, and then with a broken (!) leg, not even a week passes - is he trying to get up? And soon it's coming... Maybe, of course, the movie exaggerated his wounds for entertainment, I do not know. Why didn't Bridger come back when he found out that Fitzgerald had cheated on him? Yes, even if you don't go back, but go with the one who just pulled the trigger with the muzzle at your head? Someone like that can kill you at once, like he did with Hawk... And Bridger is generally very good, I was worried about him the most during the whole movie. His heart is too kind. And these Indians are restless... They seem to have the first goal of finding someone, why did they need a man in the river to waste bullets on him?
