But in general, I did not like the film. He is based on real events and has something to think about, but it's more about expectations (which were fabulous), and I expected a different implementation. My business, of course, and there are no complaints about the film, but I will not advise it to anyone, and even more so to review it.
One of the hardest movies I've watched. I couldn't get together for a long time to watch it, and finally I looked at it years later. This is a masterpiece, of course, the story, the acting, the music, the video sequence, the camerawork, everything is at the highest level and shakes to the depths of the soul. The story itself is terrible, as is the whole history of the war. Even saving thousands of lives doesn't make this story any brighter.
But the movie is amazing, I definitely advise you to watch it at least once. True, this is not the film that you will review, but it will definitely remain in your memory.
And I don't know how good a man Schindler was, but I didn't really understand why he decided to help Jews. It was as if during the first half of the film he treated them with some disdain. The constant grin makes it impossible to see what is really on his mind. Indeed, he took them to the factory because he felt sorry for them and wanted to help, or it was just profitable. There are no questions about the second half, there he tried to save them literally at any cost. And the last conversation with all the people he saved, it's just a breakup. When they give him a ring, and he realizes how little has been done, that many times more could have been saved. And when you see all those people coming to Schindler's grave, you just get goosebumps all over your body, because you realize if it wasn't for him, most likely they wouldn't be alive right now. Many people would do well to watch such films more often in order to remember what human cruelty can lead to, how terrible it is.
