Description
Peter Parker is going through a major identity crisis. Burned out from being Spider-Man, he decides to shelve his superhero alter ego, which leaves the city suffering in the wake of carnage left by the evil Doc Ock. In the meantime, Parker still can't act on his feelings for Mary Jane Watson, a girl he's loved since childhood. A certain anger begins to brew in his best friend Harry Osborn as well...
"What should I call it?" "Doctor Strange (Strange)?" "Sounds good, but it's already taken." 🤔
Perfectly matched actors: Peter, Aunt May, Doc Ok, Jay Jonah Jameson ...
Mendeleev is said to have invented a table in a dream 😅
Who erases the colored with the white? Apparently
for the first time, eat vegetables.
The guard at the door was played by Bruce Campbell, a longtime friend of Sam Raimi. he was the ring leader in the last part...
a classic song 😅
Is Otto's assistant Daniel Day Kim? Gin from LOST
"And now take a picture of me with the mayor's girlfriend. That is, with his wife" 🤣
So he expected his eyesight to deteriorate and carried glasses in his pocket just in case?
Yes, Harry is a controversial character. He sells a friend for the sake of catching a Spider, but at the same time asks not to touch it.
Does Peter still have the power? Or did he throw the girl up with his own strength?
I wonder if Aunt May had any idea about the Spider. She probably suspected and called Peter and started talking about him for a reason. Or at least for him to deliver the message.
If you think about it, Otto (or rather, for sure, his tentacles) almost killed his source, which could lead to the Spider.
"He was a hero... He's a thief!" 🤣
The scene on the train is probably the best in the trilogy. It takes you by the soul.
Poor Harry - apparently Dad had a gene for insanity activated by the goblin formula, and it was passed on to his son too.
Poor kid, it must be humiliating to discover literally at the very last second that there will be no wedding.
PS And of course those scenes that have become a meme - you can't help but laugh a little during them 🙂
Otto Octavius is simply magnificent!
And J. K. Simmons is godlike in this movie!
The love line still makes you get bored, but not so much!
And also, it's funny that there are a lot of self-replays of the first part, the residents stand up for the spider, the villain harms Aunt May and kidnaps MJ.. (this is basically one of the main problems of the trilogies, in all parts the spider has a personal motivation, as if just saving the city is nonsense, it is necessary to kidnap his lady)
But the movie is still great!
As already said from above, the train scene is too gorgeous!
And how did it happen that the girl was alone in the burning building, while her parents were outside?
How does Harry know where Doc is going to experiment? Peter himself should logically know, at least to check the old laboratory for the sake of the devices first.
Does it seem to me, or if the movie came out nowadays, would the scene with Harry at the end of the movie be a post-credit? 😅
I'm happy to watch Harry. Here he is an incredible handsome man, and how he copes with the role... It is a pity that Peter's honesty did not allow him to talk to a friend and explain the situation with his father... MJ is almost as infuriating here as in the first part, a nasty person confident in her exclusivity. To leave a guy who is not guilty of anything on the threshold of the church, to disgrace him, just because she decided something for herself there - applause! And after all, there is not a drop of remorse.
It's very funny))
I'll start with the intro – it's great! I even forgot that it pleases us with quite beautiful drawings depicting the events of the previous part. The sequel itself turned out to be just great, I would say that it is head and shoulders above the first one. Great shooting and scenery, very good special effects even after 20 years, meme scenes, great English in the dialogues – it's all here! Not in all the scenes, but in most of them. Toby is not so arrogant here and even plays better than in the first part. It looks more lively. But Mary Jane disappointed me again. In the sequel, I was once again convinced that the local spider's love interest is the most incomprehensible in terms of her feelings, who does not even imagine what she wants. As we wrote above, she really is an ugly person, there are no other more cultured words. It's clear to me that Parker is friends with her, and she's confused about her feelings and trying to move on, but what the fuck?! How many guys has she changed in three months (during the two parts)?! Four of them, not counting Parker himself. But at the same time, the viewer is not even shown why she is so attached to Peter and his fakaps to her. She says they've been friends for so many years, and how can you do this to me, it hurts me. Three months ago, she didn't even know they lived across the street. Yes camon! How old is she? 18? My ex was the same, without a brain in her head. Well, we digress. And what's in the movie, actually. Unlike the first part, the sequel definitely deserves a place in my personal collection. Especially the extended Open Matte version. Gorgeous Simmons and Malina are making this movie. And the train makes a boom at the end. 8 raspberries out of 10
PS. Screaming women at the screen are such references to the Stanley Kubrick film, right? Or is the director a fan of Radiance? 😁
