I was very upset at the end because Jinu "died" or disappeared.... I was hoping he would resurrect, but apparently there was no rosy ending planned.
I was very upset at the end because Jinu "died".
Well, there's nothing surprising in my opinion, this has been shown more than once in cartoon films when the guy of the main character seems to be bad, but not quite so to say, and he somehow changed and sacrificed himself, because this is already a well-known technique for the audience to like the story, especially the female half, they love it when a guy sacrifices himself for the sake of his beloved
In my opinion, it wouldn't be so emotional and interesting without it.
+ Maybe everyone is tired of the Disney endings where everyone was always alive and happy
I was hoping he would resurrect.
Who knows, if they want to and make a sequel, preferably in the near future, before they forget it, maybe they will, but I can't imagine what exactly the second part will be about, what exactly it can be done about
Although this is a new world, only 1 cartoon has been released, you can expand this world according to the idea, if of course they come up with a competent and good idea for the passage
I think it can be and may be interesting in my opinion, but again, just for a good idea and not just a continuation for the sake of continuation.
but apparently there was no rainbow ending planned here.
It is not desirable to show the happy ending in the first part, perhaps it will be shown in the sequel in the second part, where she learns that his soul is still alive and lives somewhere in her and he can somehow be revived and resurrected - to give him some kind of body, perhaps even a human one, and most likely the same as before, so that they would understand exactly what It's him
⚡⚡⚡"K-pop Demon Hunters 2" has been launched — the film will premiere on Netflix in 2029.
Are you waiting for an animated movie?
https://myshows.me/movie/630426/
There is already a page on the website for those who are interested, add yourself to the I will watch section
Interestingly, I thought it would be an animated series, but who knows, maybe it's for the best if it's just a cartoon and thus won't stretch it all.
I didn't think I'd like it, but I liked the trailer, decided to take a look and was pleasantly surprised that there would be an official Russian Dubbing on the day of release and that it would be ordered and made, and decided to take a look and give it a chance, so to speak, even though I'm not a fan of such ideas with singing and pop idols
As a child, of course, I watched Disney cartoons with singing, but that was a long time ago
I thought it would be somehow not serious and more in the comments and absurd and turn off at 20 minutes
But no
I was pleasantly surprised, most likely I will definitely review this story sometime.
And I will be very happy to watch the sequel if it comes out and I will wait for it and hope for it because I liked the story - well, of course they hope for a decent sequel with a good idea and not just a pure continuation for the sake of continuation.
It's even good that it wasn't an animated series, but a cartoon, because it wasn't for nothing that people came up with this proverbial saying.
They say her
What
Brevity is the sister of talent
And often I'm convinced that they made some kind of movie or cartoon and it comes out super good, and then there are sequels with bad ideas and it rolls down and the ratings get worse and worse and fees and comments
Of course, I would most likely watch this story in the format of an animated series, but it's not a fact that I would like it so much if it had a lot of episodes and a lot of unnecessary feeders, so lately, in recent years, I've begun to lean towards the opinion that 1 movie or 3 movies are better and nothing more than doing 10 parts or more is exactly the same with TV series where they can show a good and interesting story in 1 season, but then make the sequel worse and worse for the sake of continuing
It's better, as far as I'm concerned, to do either part 1 or 3 and no more, or in the format of an animated series season 1, but one that you want to review every year over and over again because you really like it, than to do a bunch of things that you don't want to watch anymore
Of course, it's better not to watch it in dubbing, only in the original, especially the songs, you need to feel all this with your body and dance, but you can't understand with the translation of all the power of the invested funds. When the boys' boy band first appeared, I realized that they would easily steal the hearts of female fans, they were too cool, and their final song burned the soul with napalm, and the way Rumi butted Gina lightly in the first meeting was hilarious, purely dream boys against dream girls.
I always expect controversial projects from Netflix, like "Winx" or similar experiments, but in fact everything came together like clockwork, from the meme drawing straight from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Spider-Man", it's very similar, real, and therefore the atmosphere with a range of colors is a plus, to the concept of demons which turn out to be not the same as they could have been imagined before viewing.
Serious topics have been raised with the acceptance of one's off-the-charts past and how sometimes being driven is harmful to one's mental state, vocals and body, which, of course, causes problems. In short, the perfect incendiary content. I feel like singing myself.
Bright, funny, interesting and touching
And the dubbing didn't take much effort and rewrote the writing in Russian. I'll definitely watch it in the original next time)
Animation, stylistics are all great. The plot is slightly cliched, of course, but all the other advantages simply make up for this disadvantage.
I hope they will expand the universe.
Mira's legs are like matchsticks.
The soundtrack is ❤️❤️❤
and what kind of energy does "your idol" and specifically Jin have during their performance, it's not a pity to give your soul for that
? I'm sorry Rumi lost her dear demon. Tell me, when will part 2 be??? I thought they'd be together. I want part 2.
When will part 2 be released??
If you look at it, it's in the original
Especially men's tracks
I liked it!
Bright, colorful, funny, touching.
And the rest is generally candy.

Special respect for the soundtrack - the songs are just fire, something you won't hear in k-pop in recent years. I added everything to my playlist.
. PS: well, at least she was a little sad, and not one pathetic tear.
Here, apart from gg, none of the Persians were revealed at all. And there were no villains' backstories either.
But we'll forgive them for that.)
But the point is not to reveal, but to merge the dramatic moment, which spoiled the impression of the film for me, and strongly🤷
on, a normal, kind message for a cartoon
't miss the soundtracks, we're watching
I was very pleased with the original soundtracks and already classic songs of the 3-4 generation, especially EXO🥰🥰
have have have continued urgently have have have
I certainly didn't expect all the boys to die and sacrifice themselves. I also didn't understand the conversation with my mother and this "accept all of me"/"I don't need such a Hanmun if he rejects a part of me", only to immediately after that go and ... do the same Hanmun...... well, yes, the "tattoos" remained, but not it is especially clear what has changed globally. I would like to add another 40-60 minutes to the film to reveal the characters (including Saja Boyz), add information and make the ending more appropriate, and it would be perfect.
Well, at least that's how I understood the final batch. 🤷🏻♀️
And you don't seem to understand what I was talking about. First of all, what exactly is the difference between the new Hanmun and the old one, besides the fact that the demonic part of Rumi remained in plain sight? It is not clear why this happened as a matter of course, although no one had ever mentioned the possibility of such a thing before, and it was always about the complete sealing of the demon world. Moreover, what are the GLOBAL consequences of creating such a Hanmun? This implies, secondly, that if the demonic things remained, then something had to change for the demons, too, but what? Zero information in the movie. If nothing has changed, then why? This is strange. And among other things, the quarrel itself and its result alternate too quickly, happening literally one after the other. I didn't have enough thoughts for Rumi, at least some, where she digests the quarrel, comes up with the idea to create a new Hanmun according to the new rules - this one, "who will accept all of me for who I am," and only after that she goes and makes it.
And in the end, everyone accepted themselves.
The point is not that the new Hanmun is radically different, but that she initially simply could not build a full-fledged Hanmun based on lies and self-loathing (along the way, losing her voice because she rejected a part of herself).
But it's a pity that they didn't tell the backstory about their father. How did her mother get involved with a demon in the first place, and was it voluntary?
tigger is lovely
And what cool soundtracks! It's cool that the songs are doing great on the charts.
And the original voices sound much better and more characterful for the characters.
Therefore, the original is + sub for such a cartoon.
It's a good, albeit trivial plot. It's a very cool drawing. Zoey's facial expressions somehow remind her of Jinx's drawing.
What a tigerclaw with a magpie 😍
great soundtracks, lots of funny moments, I would willingly give my soul to the Saja Boys.
The love line is far-fetched, of course, but it's sad that Jin died like that. I was waiting for a postscript with the beginning for the sequel
Well, anyway, a fat like for the songs. No wonder they're hitting the tops now) Well, the song Your idol instantly makes you want to give your soul))
A tigercat with a bird in a hat is adorable)) The only ones who caused a sincere smile when watching.
It's a shame that according to the results of the boy band, only Gina was revealed, the rest of the participants were just a beautiful decoration. Mira and Zoey stood out even more or less, but only due to the fact that they have a rather expressive and bright type.
Basically, if you want to watch something relaxed and with good music, then this cartoon is perfect.
And so a passing cartoon. The kid is black and handsome
I really missed such funny, bright and dynamic cartoons!
In recent years, everyone has been putting a serious face on realism, and this film is like a dose of pure sugar straight into the brain!!!
I strongly recommend watching it!!!<3

A great cartoon with great sounds, jokes and morals.
Oh, our time, no fears, no lies
That's who we're born to be
for some reason, it reminded me briefly of frozen because of the drama of the main character, there was also such a thing with accepting her bad part.
I liked kittens and birds the most. And here's a bad boy, repentant.
otherwise, it's normal. an interesting idea in general. I've already forgotten the songs. but the moments were funny.
But the animation is just a delight! I haven't watched such a buzz since the Spider-Man multiverse. The plot is a pleasant banter about the K-pop industry and fans, it's nice that the central line is not romantic.
There are a lot of hidden references to Korean culture and art - of course, I liked the magpie and the tiger the most. Maybe someone doesn't know, the magpie and the tiger is a whole genre in Korean traditional painting since about the 14th century. The tiger is always an idiot, and he wears a hat because he represents the nobility, the ruling elites. You can see how many men in such hats there are in the demon world - this is a reference to the same type of people selling their souls for power. And the magpie are simple people who condemn the stupid ruling class. An Easter egg in the form of political satire in a children's cartoon is very cool. Well, they're both charming, just mi-mi-mi.
The end is open, obviously there will be a second part. Girls, it looks like a tiger, a turtle and a dragon, logically there is not enough phoenix, so maybe in the next part they will resurrect Dina or find a fourth in the group? I need to tell you how Rumi's parents did it. In general, I really liked the cartoon, I'll definitely review it in the original.
Good songs. The original is clearly top, but the dubbing was obviously tried, the notes were just pulled out.
Lots of visual gags, anime faces. At the moment of the first meeting of girls and boys (after the doctor), I just pissed off. The plot is as simple as a stick, although I admit I was surprised that the SPOILER guys were all killed, even apparently the main one. I thought they'd break the spell and perform together or something.
And it's funny now, of course, to watch the Sony Pictures Animation YouTube channel. Where are the most popular videos now, these are songs from here with 150 million views. Those who don't know Sony changed their minds about releasing it, saying it was a dubious rental prospect and they sold the cartoon to Netflix, where it became a phenomenon. A franchise is planned.
I hope Sony fired its analysts.
Congratulations to everyone. We are waiting for sequels, TV series, and more.

How did Sony shit themselves 😁
It's just that "golden" has become very popular and colleagues at work last week constantly mentioned this film. And then I gave up and said "I'll take a look" and I didn't regret it! Delight 🤩😭🥰
I'm so glad I watched it in the original.
It's important how such a banal plot works together with visuals, characters, and in this case, music.
And it works well, I had fun watching it, but what can I say, I was delighted with everything I saw.
It seemed so, cape, but no. I can put 8 out of 10 reinforced concrete.
Music 10/10
Characters 10/10
Regarding the cartoon itself, the plot is very adhd, which rushes and does not focus on anything, does not reveal anyone except HUNTRIX and Jin (and even then weakly)
BUT... but there wasn't enough plot. The narrative is ragged, and there just weren't enough plot points.
As if an animated series would be much better here.
Well, in general, I still put 4.5kbps because the songs (and that says it all)
The drawing is very exciting, the change of animation style from discontinuous in everyday life and smooth in the fight and concert scenes sets a very cool dynamic.
It's a pity, of course, that Jin sacrificed himself, but it's also like something unusual in the form of an ambiguous villain, which leaves mixed feelings.
All songs are very organic and interesting, melodic and modern!
I think it will be interesting for all parents with children to watch. Dynamically, the plot, although not very original or may surprise, but during the cartoon it looks cool and does not sag. Everything is enough and the music is incredible.
PS I am glad that the Ukrainian adaptation did not rehash the songs. Because it would definitely spoil the impression.
It was lively, the songs were cool, the final performance of the boy band was top, I would go to such a concert, even though I don't listen to cape pop.
Tiger and magpie are beautiful)
There was a lack of character disclosure and clarification of some plot points (for example, how it happened that gg's father is a demon). But as a phenomenon and entertaining content, the cartoon is very good)
But can I please add a good cartoon to this?
The beginning of the film generally looks like a slicing of tiktoks glued into one picture. Everything is fussy, hurried, and constantly gags.
Also, some jokes take an infinitely long time. YES, I REALIZED THAT THE CAT IS TRYING TO LIFT THE POT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOW IT 5 TIMES.
I don't like Rumi.
The plot as a whole is not sympathetic. You see the plot, you already know the ending. Rumi does not arouse sympathy at all
If this cartoon wins the Oscar for animation, it's sad! Although I haven't checked any other cartoons yet..
Perhaps, of course, the exaggerated word-of-mouth expectations around the painting played a joke on me. But I got tired of watching it. Despite the fact that it only runs for an hour and a half...
A - the character designs are excellent, I have no questions
Well, this is a musical version of Sailor Moon.
Nice try, "Demon Hunters"! You practically convinced me to immerse myself in the world of K-pop music and get to know some other South Korean bands besides BTS and Blackpink. Four songs from the soundtrack were instantly ingrained in the brain: Golden, How It's Done, Soda Pop and Takedown. And in the Russian version, too, by the way. Usually, only one or two compositions are remembered, if you take an average musical or a Disney cartoon, but here, of course, it's powerful.
In fact, there's not even much to describe here. All the rave reviews are well deserved. The authors are aware that they have a pretty crazy idea at the heart of the cartoon (Ryan Coogler would argue with his "Sinners", but he didn't have KPop!), so they take what they do as lightly as possible. And thanks to this tone, there is respect and trust in the material shown, and then you, already being on the same wavelength as the creators of the cartoon, seriously empathize with Rumi, Zoey and Mira, and worry about the fate of the group in the dramatic moments of the narrative. I won't talk about the metaphor of cuming out in the finale - it's like a joke: "Doctor, where did you get such interesting pictures?". Anyone who wants to see what they want will see, and sometimes it's better for authors to chew than to talk.
Anyway, it's a very inventive staging of battles, musical numbers (and their mixing), and humorous skits (about popcorn from the eyes and abs cubes - very funny). The animation a la "Spider-Man: Web of Universes" has not yet bothered me personally and is exciting, in addition, there is also an Asian fleur. The plot does not cause boredom. I hope that in the obligatory sequels, time will be given to the other two girls, otherwise they are in Rumi's shadow all the way, although they have enough distinctive features in their character and behavior to be well remembered. The main bad guy (voiced in the original by our beloved Lee Byung-hong - recently wrote about him in "Method of Elimination") it differs only in the cool design in the style of a Vinamp equalizer, and not in any specially thought-out motivation. Well, a demon and a demon. The same could be said about the demonic boy band, but how funny and rocking it is. You really feel like those passersby who involuntarily start moving their shoulders to the beat of Saja Boys tracks.
A positive and sincere, but at the same time driving and funny cartoon. I recommend it to everyone, regardless of age.
P.S. Tiger and magpie are great.
rating: 5 VIA Gra out of 5
That's how I looked for the first time when I saw the signs
I feel sorry for Gina. The whole family had tears.
I really thought it would be some kind of nonsense, but I really liked it.
Funny, interesting, unusual.
I saw a lot of references to the choreography of famous K-pop groups. And there was a poster for Twice)
video from kinopoisk - How Sailor Moon changed anime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gABdOhY1vM
Or the Korean Enchanted Ones.
I'm surprised that the Koreans or Japanese themselves didn't do something like that. I mean in Korea or Japan themselves.
according to Wiki, the cartoon was made in the USA/Canada.
imho comp. anime grimaces. I really like them. in Sailor Moon. They don't look natural here.
The dependence of magic on the love of fans is imho similar to the dependence of the power of the gods on the faith of people in them in The Wrath of the Titans (2012).
visual, music, and action are all chic. but the idea itself is similar to likhorad. I think I have a comic book stereotype that fighters against evil should be hidden. It's like Stan Lee made superheroes stars for the first time in his Fantasy 4 universe.
A joke from imdb - During the release of Golden, you can see a bus stop, the name of the station in Korean is an Easter egg for Korean speakers. And it translates as "This is the bus stop", the next bus stop is called "Next bus stop", and the previous one is called "Previous bus stop"😆
Director Maggie Kang revealed in an interview with Netflix that Jinu's soul is trapped in Rumi's sword, which opens up a potential return in the sequel.
Maggie Kang voiced a flight attendant who was watering a flower with coffee.
Oscars for best animation and best song👏 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y-ViyUk7Dk
😏
Overall, it seems that the soundtrack to the series is an unrealistic quintessence of the best k-pop songwriting techniques. Everyone who wrote these songs is incredibly talented and professional musicians and sound producers.
The songs turned out to be the kind that you want to listen to after watching and they don't become annoying (and my 5-year-old listened to them on repeat all evenings for the first couple of months). So I'm glad that Ejae and the team got both the Golden Globe and the Oscar. It's well deserved.
