Description
Rachel Watson, devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.
I recommend it to fans of psychological thrillers, especially fans of Gillian Flynn's work (Disappeared, Sharp objects, Dark Secrets).
Now I want to read the book
The heroine's mental disorder was perfectly conveyed, her confidence in reality is undermined and as a result we get what we got. If in the beginning I had nothing but disgust for her, then with the development of the plot and after the discovery of all the events, you realize that abusive relationships are tin...
Emily Blunt is a big smart girl
If we compare, there were absolutely not enough disturbing emotions. Rachel really looks more like a hysterical woman here than a heroine who drinks a lot and doesn't quite understand what's going on around her. in appearance, only Megan matched my ideas, well, maybe even Anna. The stories are not revealed to the extent that you get into the characters, their tragedies and begin to sympathize.
Honestly, it's not even a thriller.
