Description
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1991. High school freshman Charlie is a wallflower, always watching life from the sidelines, until two senior students, Sam and her stepbrother Patrick, become his mentors, helping him discover the joys of friendship, music and love.
"We can't change where we came from. But we can choose where to go next."
To be honest, I had rather low expectations about this film. there was an impression that this was a typical B-movie for teenagers. but my opinion changed dramatically after watching.
the theme of music is very close to me, I myself have a couple of dozen songs of the golden time. therefore, every time the characters exchanged music, as if expressing their feelings, I was overwhelmed with emotions. it was so sensual for me.
the film itself can be disassembled into quotes (I even wrote a couple in my notes).
I would also like to say about the amazing shots. especially the moment with Sam standing in the car to the song heroes from the magnificent David Bowie. just goosebumps.
I want to say a separate word about Emma Watson and Logan Lerman. whenever Emma appeared in the frame, she took all my attention, and Logan just did a great job with his role and conveyed all the feelings of the hero so familiar to me.
I definitely recommend it for viewing, 5/5
Been on the list for & # 34; view& # 34; for many years
Initially interested in the cast
So penetrated by every hero
Emma, Logan and Ezra did 100%.
Ezra's hero was particularly bleeding in the heart
All the guys have such hard destinies
Happy ending
Now I want to read a book
