I accidentally found out that in addition to the movie Monstro, it turns out there are 2 more films within the same universe. I was surprised when I started watching Cloverfield 10, and faintly understood the connection with the last film - where the attack on the city of a huge monster and shooting with a shaking camera, and where the story of the abduction of a girl and a static camera in 4 walls, but in the end everything fell into place)
The whole movie feels like the tape is missing something. I was actually watching because of John Goodman. But the finale redeems every single minus of the film, turns everything upside down, and only after that everything falls into place. I definitely recommend it.
I fell for the comments and watched because of the ending promised by many...and I'm just completely disappointed...what's unexpected about it?...the most expected was 1. That he is a maniac and cheated, and 2. there is a true apocalypse... I was hoping for something third .. in vain....
@Annadyakina: Considering that this is a continuation of another film, the end was naturally predictable ... And it is obvious that there were only two options, either he is lying or not, what in your opinion could be the third option?
I watched this movie without expecting anything from it at all, and I didn't know that it was a sequel to another movie. but in fact, I was delighted with the ending. (I just believed the whole movie that the man was just crazy)
An unexpected combination of genres, of course. Why this conditional alien bow on a thriller about a maniac? It's not clear.)) But in general it is interesting and watchable.
@Mysherry: as we wrote above, this is a continuation of another film, so this is not a bow, but rather the basis, here there is a world and in this world there is someone who survives like this. I didn't watch the first part, but it's just about the monster. It's called "Monster", as far as I know, there is also a third part.
@Dori_Grey: I know, I watched the Monster. It just looks like the film was attached to an independent and integral story about a maniac later with a little bunch of Monsters.) Yes, for those who did not know this, it turned out to have a wow effect in the finale. It must have been cool. But I perceive such mixing with doubt.
