As for the movie, I didn't even understand why Lex started crying at the end!?
What what, but I didn't expect to see this from him
As for Mr. Fantastic, of course I knew about his existence and had seen him before in the series, in the animated series and in cartoons, but here he looks like, in my opinion, a replacement for Batman, in the sense that he is very smart with high IQ and without any powers
It's like James Gunn didn't have time to take Batman off and decided to replace him here.
About the green fanlight
It was so unusual to see him after so many seasons in the series _ Rookie Recruit
I was thinking about the future, it was a bad idea and his character would look ridiculous and that he was too old for the role of a superhero, so to speak, but no, I liked everything, he looked organic and there were funny jokes and scenes with him, although I thought he would be kind of knocked on his head here, as they said that this version of the lantern would be kind of I'm like that but no I'm pleasantly hurt
What about the justice gang
The name is certainly interesting
But I was surprised that there were so few of them, in the end there were only 3
1 Flashlight
2 Tariff
3 The Eagle
As far as I understood, Superman was not a member of it, but was just friends with them.
Somehow there are not enough people - 3 people for the word gang
I thought there would be at least 6 people like Snyder.
1 Superman
2 Batman
3 Wonder Woman
4 Flash
5 Aquaman
6 The Cyborg
As for that creature, Ala is a super Skrull who could transform into anything, as I understand it
Is it like it's going to be some kind of Martian hunter?
As far as I remember, I know and watched his story in the TV series, in cartoons, in animated series, his abilities are very similar that he could turn into anyone in terms of appearance, as far as I remember, and his appearance was similar
Only here this character can not only transform, but also change his body and its properties and powers.
I didn't even notice the first scene when I stopped at the very end because it lasts only 8 seconds and the practice doesn't change and looks like a picture, I thought it was a picture and that's it, but thanks for the reminder
And yes, this scene itself is the first interesting one, but unfortunately it doesn't mean anything important in terms of movie announcements and so on.
There's a 40-second post-credits scene that's a direct sequel to the movie.
But it doesn't have anything important in it, no teasers or announcements of any other films, or there is no next film.
Who won't watch it, don't miss anything important, don't worry
Something like 2 parts, but as James Gunn said, it won't be exactly part 2, but just a movie where there will be Superman and the rest of the different superheroes, the old ones that we've seen in this movie and Peacemaker and maybe even in other films, what will come out before this movie comes out and they will all fight together against what-that new very strong supervillain whom even Superman alone will not be able to defeat and will fight with everyone by assembling them like a new Justice League or a mini team or Justice League barriers
And the 2nd part about Superman will be unknown when.

Mr. Terrafiq is 10 out of 10, he stole every scene, my favorite character in this movie.
Overall, it turned out to be such a strong Marvel movie. In a good way.
P.S. I will miss the pretentious and epic version of Snyder, but what about now...
I had a brief cognitive dissonance after Snyder, and my teenage son was in a lot of trouble. In general, the film is not even bad. Nicholas is very much in the role of the villain, the moment with the clones is interesting, the scenes with his parents are very touching. But you treat a lot of things with humor, like Spock's hairstyle at the Green Lantern.
On the one hand, it's funny and fun, but not at all what it used to be before this reboot. It seems to me that it will fail at the box office.
It's fashionable to look at it once, but no more. They lied when I would watch this copy of the film again.
In order to laugh at some moments, it's worth watching - but it's NOT worth it!
Great cast, very good pace, great action scenes
DC is in safe hands
although the plot itself is slowly swinging at the beginning, it already lacks many points for the introduction, as is usually the case in restarts. the characters are immediately endearing, they are well spelled out, which are the main ones, which are secondary. yes, and played by the way too. you just believe them and feel their emotions and drama.
The film is fascinating. The music, visuals, and dialogues are good. I want to believe that DiSi will also succeed with the relaunch of the cinematic universe.
I was pleased with the actors' performance:
Nicholas Hoult, David Kornsvet, Rachel Brosnahan, Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillion - they look great in their roles.
The action sometimes looked strange.
Gunn handled the restart with a bang 🎉
In two moments, it almost made me cry: when Clark was sitting with Lois and said that he needed to turn himself in to the authorities, because Crypto was alone there and very scared. The second was when Clark's "earthly" father said he couldn't be more proud of him than he is now. I don't know about the others, it got to me.
Guy is a funny comic relief, nothing more, the Eagle seems to be superfluous in this movie. Terrefik carries the whole movie, now he's my favorite character in this universe. The engineer somehow falls short of an interesting character, you can safely cross out like the Eagle. "This is a twist" with Ultraman was readable from the first second (I hadn't read the comics), when Clark said "how did they get into my hideout, because they need my dna?". Holt, in the role of Lex, carries the role of a spoiled billionaire, sometimes overplays, but on the whole looks more convincing than the same Eisenberg. Crypto is good (hopefully we won't see a superhero version of John Wick in the future).
The only thing that killed me the whole movie was the onlookers. When a monster the size of a skyscraper walks around the city, they act as if they all have Superman's invulnerability. They don't run from danger, they don't scream, they don't panic like normal people. Many are standing there filming on their phones, while others are just standing there looking at the disaster, as if they are sure that Superman will be able to save everyone in time. They start running and screaming only when something falls on them. And if some kind of danger is just nearby, it's okay for them, they watch the show. It was unnerving, unnatural, and made it difficult to immerse oneself in what was happening.
Otherwise, it's a good movie, surprisingly even better than the latest Guardians of the Galaxy and Suicide Squad, although the director seems to be the same. 9/10, I'm thrilled.
But what surprised them is that they love Superman so much.,
But when Lex leaks information from Supersus' parents, they start hating him every second, and no one is even bothered that it could be a setup.
In some centuries, the villain is competent with a normal motivation, a la LF from the Age of Ultron or Batman from BpS.
Humor is at a high level. Especially all the scenes with Nathan Fillion. I was so glad I didn't look at the trailers or the cast. I just got high from seeing the character.
There wasn't enough drama. She was. The scene with the father is one of them, but Cavilla's Superman has tamed us to the great 3.14 compassion of the protagonist. Or maybe it's for the best? James Gunn shows a naive but simple truth - you don't have to be afraid to be a person who makes mistakes. Rather than trying to be a moral tuning fork.
It's nice to immerse yourself in a world where everything is clear, where there is obvious good and evil, where good wins and the world is saved, evil is punished and peace and joy come to the whole world. Oh, we would like that.
This world needs a Superman too! Psychology would answer us here in the spirit that Superman is in each of us, we must also fight our dark copy, which is guided by trauma / prejudice/ blinders (insert your own version). Super Man, he's super HuMAN, right? Is it possible for us to become more human, to become supermen? I hope so.
It turned out to be about the same as Black Adam. The same vague villain, the same justice team, only in this movie they are on the side of GG.
But it'll do for one movie.
PS: I expected Supergirl to get more screen time...
PS: When Gunn was at Marvel, his films were perceived as an entertainment series (fanservice), in a series about Marvel super heroes, which gave him a chance to take a breath away from the series. They looked good in this stream of superheroics. Now, in the future, there will all be such series as Superman, but there is hope that they will be diluted with dark episodes. Given that heroics are dying, I hope Gunn has a plan and the new universe doesn't die after the first failure!
Superman seemed a little boring. I didn't have enough seriousness. It's like he's still a teenager here.
The screaming eagle was constantly infuriating.
Guy Gardner, well, as I remember him from comics and animated series, is similar.
Metamorpho, the appearance pleased. +- canon, first bad, then good.
But in the end. A passer-by. To watch this movie, you have to be immersed in the DC universes. And there is no time to reveal the normal characters.
You're looking purely at nostalgic flashbacks.
P.S. It still bombs that the theme of the bat tribe in the series Gotham was ignored. At least dark nights are metal in this lineup of restarts.
This Superman lives in a world in which there have been superhumans for at least 300 years and humanity has a taste for them. This Superman is as kind and naive as possible. He is trying to save absolutely any living being (or stop it, and if it doesn't work out painlessly, put it to sleep). Because of this, the main conflict of the film occurs. Superman wants to save people and thereby intervenes in the conflict between the two countries. Not thinking about anything but saving people. After all, he wants to help and do what he thinks his parents from Krypton sent him to do. But here is the first surprise, he was sent not to help, but to subdue people and with their help breed as many Kryptonians as possible. Kal-El himself did not know this, the message was damaged and what he did not hear, he thought up. What Luthor uses.
Lex Luthor is good. Despite his mistakes, he is quick-tempered and sometimes stupid. He still looks like an interesting character driven by envy and fear. The turn with Ultraman is predictable, I hope he returns as Bizaro, otherwise it will be a stupid drain. The engineer is fine, does his job, is devoted, and it's hard to call her a dummy.
The justice gang. There are few of them in the film, but it's not about them either. The trific character who aroused the least interest before the film has the most time and arouses interest. The lantern is funny – now I want to look at it in the series, otherwise the PG-13 rating does not allow it to be fully shown. It's a shame for the Eagle, she's almost gone and speaks 3-4 phrases, I want more and not in a minor role. Well, the musical accompaniment is gorgeous, especially at the end.
The environment of the Superman is interesting. I want to highlight the earthly parents, especially the dialogue with the father. The relationship with Lois is alive, the chemistry is present. Krypto is a mischievous dog who doesn't piss you off, and in one 30-second scene they showed you why he is like that. Supergirl also appears in this scene, a movie that I've been waiting for more than a Superman movie, and this scene has increased my expectations (there will also be another character who doesn't look like the CW, not the DCU).
The film is not perfect, though. There are questions for him. There are not logical points. But this movie brought emotions. This film has given you a full-fledged entrance into a new universe, which you want to return to and look at this new world and the characters who live in it. 8/10.
Not without question, but it really turned out to be good.
We clench our fists and hope that Gunn will be able to open the DC normally.
We'll be watching and waiting.
I'm like someone who's been disappointed in superheroes for a long time, and all the recent Marvel movies are a complete failure. I was pleasantly surprised by this superman.
In my opinion, it's much better than the Thunderbolts, even though everyone praises them, but I didn't like them at all...
I give the super 7 out of 10.
Anyway, I'm on Hopium. Superheroics come to life in 2025
#Gunnycharged by the fighting
After the end of the serial Soup, I felt nostalgic.
I really liked the music, the visual (yes, yes, it's too bright, but it's good), the cast (just fine, everything was perfect, Lex Luthor, Green Lantern, Mr. Terrible, and even Lois Lane ... and Supergirl)
)
Kryptonite - maybe I don't know something, but in my opinion, Superman has never turned into a pathetic vegetable by finding a small piece of kryptonite within a radius of 5 meters? I also didn't really like soups physics. Speaking of the all-powerful God, his punches, thrusts, and kicks have no power. It's like Batman is fighting, not a powerful hero. It's only when he's angry that we really see that he can move super fast (the scene in the jar), that even a clone can't hurt or punch him (the scene of flying into the sky), and that's it, I don't remember any more such moments.
At first, by the way, I was a little annoyed with Lois, especially in the interview scene, as if instead of helping, she was crossing the line with arrogance. And she knows how and why Soups did it. And she could have asked questions in such a way as to embellish his act, rather than reproach him. As a result, "People were going to die" made me really happy)
It was very cool to announce JG!
As a result, we have a new look at the Symbol of Peace, not perfect, but still a good one. In an ideal world, I would combine Clark Kent Gunn and Superman Snyder - but I would still leave Cornswell for the role itself, he's really good)
On my own, I give him 8-8.5 flying men in tights
Well, it's also strange about the weakness of the new version) Did the same Snyder Superman hold the buildings entirely? Did you fight the Kaiju and restrain him alone? Overcome the pull of a black hole? To be honest, I don't even remember anything like that, as if there was nothing but a fight with Zod, a fight with Batman, a fight with Doomsday, and a fight with the League, although there certainly was. But that's not accurate.
Like, not wanting to fight (which is emphasized in the scenes after killing the monster and on the field when he tries to talk to the Engineer before he starts bludgeoning Ultraman with it) That doesn't mean "not able to." Anyway, it turns out that if the enemies are weaker, then they shouldn't do anything? It was with the nanobots that there was evidence that Superman could be reached not only by brute force.
All the theses voiced by me are laid out there, but in a more structured form.
and I don't plan to compare it with any other Superman movies, except with a picture forming in my head.
there are moments that I didn't get. for example, it's a shame for the ancestors from Krypton. this is, of course, a straight greasy minus from me.
There was probably a lot more that I didn't have enough of. the development between the characters, not right off the bat. Clois is cute in itself, there is chemistry, as in principle and generally between all the characters. but I think it was worth focusing more on Superman than adding the Justice League/gang to it. as a result, it's too much porridge. I've had enough movies in recent years, where there's a lot of this mess, I'm tired of it.
one of the advantages is Superman himself. This is my superman. kind, naive, who is against killing. And so is Lex. With Lex, it was perfect too. Oh, how Holt played this super-crazy psycho. This is also my Lex Luthor. I'm thrilled.
Lois is good, but I was still hoping for some different behavior towards Clark. but considering that time has passed, and let's say I'm watching the 90th episode about Superman, yes, this is the case. It just doesn't look right in the movie.
Cat Grant is perfect, Jimmy Olsen is perfect, and so is Perry. but there are too few Daily planets and Clark Kent actually.
There are also scenes that hit my heart. For example, when Clark talks about crypto, he's the only one there. and at this moment, I literally automatically project this situation onto Clark himself, who was left all alone in this world, who was often misunderstood, and is not understood now, this topic has always broken my heart. He really was always alone on this planet. The alien. and Lois's hugs at that moment, when he's talking about the dog, made me burst into tears.
and also the music, the music is creepy, I cried every time with the theme of super, and in general, the inserts in many places are beautifully made.
the result is fine. but I definitely need a revision in the original. most of the time, dubbing spoils everything for me. I want to hear the voices and the acting. so I'll wait for the original, maybe I need a certain mood as well. yes, I was looking forward to superman and ran at the first opportunity, but I was walking and I was sure I wouldn't get in, I don't even know why such a thought formed in my head. maybe after a while I'll look at it a little differently. I don't know. it looks pretty average so far.
The scene with the parents on the screens at the end under Punkrocker is something with something.
P.S. I didn't expect it from the trailers and posters, but the new Superman suddenly turned out to be such a charismatic handsome man!) Ironically, a bit like Cavill.
The ideal cast of absolutely all actors.
Clear, logical, and sometimes tearful dialogues.
Gorgeous cameos of all Gunn's friends.
As always, the sound is amazing.
Cool characters that haven't been shown before.
The chemistry between Clark and Lois😍
And of course, Crypto, a dog worthy of his mistress.
I'm looking forward to Supergirl and the second season of Peacemaker. As much as I love the Snyder universe, Gunn is a wizard. Keep up the good work!🙏🏻
• a messy beginning, we are not introduced to the hero, immediately immersed in all the fuss, then all this confusion settles down. But it's like watching a movie from the middle. On the one hand, yes, there is no smooth immersion into Clark's life, but on the other hand, why? Everyone knows what we haven't been shown. These are some basic facts that, I think, are also known to those who have not watched the films.
Well, it's too predictable a move with an Ultraman clone (even for those who are not familiar with comics). As if we would like something different, something that we have never seen on television about Superman... I didn't like it.
• quite a lot of characters, on the one hand, it's cool, they superficially introduce new characters, and on the other, I want to learn more about them, but you realize that in this film it's inappropriate to stretch the timing for them. That's what happened to the Eagle. I don't know if she really looked superfluous to me. And I missed the story about the Engineer: what exactly was her motivation to help Lex like that? It would be interesting to know about it. It's clear that her character is much deeper and more tragic than we were shown. At some point, I thought she was capable of going over to the side of good. At the same time, I can't say the same about Guy or Teriffik. I really liked them! For some reason, it seemed that Guy would be a bit cringe-worthy, but the actor is insanely cool, and they prescribed him well.
• I absolutely did not like what was done with the parents' message, although I understood why they did it: to show that Superman acts of his own free will, helping people is solely his choice. But damn it, it hurts me so much for changing the tone of this message... Gunn summed it up well in the end to the fact that Superman asked to show childhood memories with earthly parents (by the way, they turned out like this... real ones). This is very nice!
• the robots at the base turned out to be cool (funny guys), but so defenseless. It looked silly and weird. Don't they have any superpowers? They were scattered like dumb pieces of iron. Some kind of unconvincing Cryptographic technology. Well, maybe because they're purely medical... I don't know, maybe I'm being mean.
• people who are in no hurry to run away from danger. A huge Luntik is coming at them, and they are like turtles, barely moving. In fact, it seems a little natural to me for our time, well, it can be explained by a banal stupor. Each of us reacts to danger in a completely different way: someone has the strength to immediately react and run away, while someone is just in full swing...
I liked that we were connected with other characters. I am incredibly happy about the appearance of the Green Lantern, and even such a fun one! Yes, so far these characters are just an interesting wrapper for the central Superman, but this is a cool foundation for their personal stories in future films. Holt's Luthor is wonderful (although my favorite is still Michael Rosenbaum), he has his own vibe that differs from previous actors in this role. The moments when he stood coolly in front of the emotional Superman are very cool. But there just wasn't enough clarity for those who don't know the universe, what exactly his motivation was, why he was so angry at Superman. I'm sure it was left for a treat, like his canonical costume. We will definitely see in the future. Lex seemed caricatured in places, but damn, he's a charismatic devil.
I also liked David Korensvet, he turned out to be very lively and bright, albeit with such naive vibes. For his hero, saving the squirrel is just as important as stopping the war in the countries. And it's catchy. A Kryptonian with a human soul. The true embodiment of goodness. Yes, and I like how weak Superman was shown here. He always annoyed me a little with his image, because against his background, people like Green Arrow and others didn't look serious at all, but with Gunn everything is different. Rachel Brosnahan and her Lois Lane were not enough for me, I don't know, as if she was in some distant, distant background, perhaps because of so many characters. The actress herself has potential, but it doesn't seem to be fully revealed...
Well, I'll conclude with a good one: a great movie with pleasant humor, self-irony and such easy naivety (which may be considered too ridiculous and childish, but these are comics, guys, for such a movie it was within acceptable limits). Without the usual superhero pathos. I really liked that humanity is at the center of the film, not stupid action. Superman Gunn is not a superhero from an unknown planet who gives people hope; it's about a MAN who values the life of every creature, even that unfortunate Lunatic who almost killed hundreds. It's very comic. As for me, a cheerful and good start to the restart. Yes, at first glance it may look trivial and simple, but the characters and their actions make the plot richer and deeper. As a result, it catches on! I laughed, I cried, I was happy, I was happy. Honestly, I missed movies like that.
Now I love both the Snyderverse and Gunn's "Superman." You won't believe it, but it's really possible. It's not an ideal movie, not like the DC movie we're used to, but it's a very good one. I'm betting 8 Crypto out of 10! 🙌🏻 And yes, Crypto is not stupid or infuriating! He's just a playful schoolboy... 🥺 Do not insult Crypto!
Lively, humane, funny, and sometimes clumsy.
Yes, you can scold the film for a lot of banal moves, sometimes silly dialogues and occasionally inappropriate humor, but this is Gunn's style.
Amazing emotions from watching!
Thanks to everyone involved, it was great!
Finally, they really showed us a real Comic Book Movie.
I wasn't the least bit bored, the jokes, the jokes of rzhak. The actors are superbly chosen, Holt played Luthor the coolest, he wanted to drag him right to disgust.😄
Korensvet also performed Superman coolly, I initially thought that some kind of actor was not very suitable for this role, I confess there are many third-party characters from the DCU that I did not expect to see.
Marvel hasn't done anything like this for a long time, at least in Phase 5 for sure.
I take back all my words that kringe will fail at the box office)))
Well, even an old woman can have a hole!
According to the trailer, it seemed to me that this was some kind of ridiculous mess and a hodgepodge of robots, dinosaurs and superheroes.
But James Gunn is smart, he just shuts up commentators like me.😅🙈
Anyway, the new Super - super!
It's bright, stylish, funny, and has a good plot, and Korensvet is wonderfully good!
Holt shines in the role of a tyrant technomillionaire.
There are a lot of minor characters, and they've all been given a bit of time, and there are a couple of cameos.
I liked Mr. Terrible too.
In general, I want to watch such a film universe of DS, I look forward to seeing you again.👌🏼
James Gunn is just great, and he's brought the good stuff to the cinemas again)
I expected the Guardians of the Galaxy to appear at any moment, especially when they were trying to defeat the bug)
I'm in solidarity with the Man of Steel!
But still, this is still a very good approach for DS.
Superheroics is now overflowing with "grey" heroes. Naturally, everything will start to change in order to show the new - the well-forgotten old.
But it's a shame when they start hating a movie just because it's not what Snyder did. Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman are good, but there are a lot of comics written about Superman. And not everything is in the spirit of "injustice." If Snyder's version has not gone far in terms of box office receipts, and such films are shot precisely for the sake of money, it is natural that they will try to shoot something else.
And this superman doesn't look like Marvel movies, just because he's relatively light, he doesn't look like either the old movies or the new ones.
A beautiful children's fairy tale with interesting moments and caricature characters. It can be revised to amuse the inner child.
In short, to criticize this film:
It's not a Superman movie -- it's a Superman cartoon. You expect more from the movie. And when you watch a cartoon and you have some questions about it, they answer all your questions with "Well, it's a cartoon."
But for me, there are also obvious annoying oddities. The very first fight struck me to the core). Luthor dictates the numbers of the commands and they are entered for execution, and Superman, who seems to be not much inferior to the Flash in speed if desired, does not have time to do anything). It was as if they had forgotten about it, having already remembered by the end on the stage of the raptors' scolding. Next, the townsfolk. As we wrote above a couple of times, it's just freezing that they are standing two steps away from the showdown and shooting videos, eating, kids playing, and so on. Until something starts falling on them, that's when they scream and run))). Okay, you trust Supsa so much that you don't even look for a shelter to make his job easier, but then why is it so easy to fall for the first dirt on him and turn away? And if that's the case, then really take a break for a longer time, go on a long-term vacation to your parents' farm instead of being captured, let them do without you). Crypto, again, is dumber than all previous appearances on the screen, even though he has already written about it. Come on, I don't want to talk about flaws, it's a good movie comic. 4🌟 well deserved).
I refuse to understand the internet with rave reviews about the return of classic Superman. Those who write this have obviously never seen this classic Superman in their eyes.
A stupid, naive cartoon, with a couple of good jokes, in which a modern political agenda was shoved for some reason.
I don't want to write anything about the local action either, because not only Snyder's number is fresh in my memory, but also the Hanoverian Guards, and the Squad, where the action was much more inventive and dynamic.
Complementing all this is a set of caricatured and not the most charismatic characters. Starting with Superman, who is desperately being portrayed in the script as a kind-hearted man rescuing dogs, children and squirrels, or crying over the murder of a little-known fast food vendor on the street. In fact, the local Superman is an infantile, hysterical and nervous fool. Who, moreover, is being beaten and thrown by everyone who is not lazy. Needless to say, if the dog in the movie is more Superman than Superman himself. We have never seen such a Man of Steel anywhere else. Lex, a calculating and cold-blooded businessman with a clear motivation, stood out against his background, until he was abruptly turned into a villainous villain with sadistic tendencies and a maniacal desire to get rid of Superman at any cost.
The worst caste for the Kents, the worst presentation of the Els, who, it turns out, sent their son to enslave the Earth and breed half-blood bastards.
Perhaps except for the local Justice League, and Lois has no one to mention here. But they are just empty shells without a background and interesting characters. The last thing you expect from a man who shot the same Guardians of the Galaxy.
Art design, scenery, costumes, music, camera crew - there are complaints about bad taste about everything in this film.Something that I couldn't reproach myself with before. .
A sterile, soulless movie with a vague message. This is no longer a dark, almost ancient epic about new gods from Snyder, but it's not even close to the Superman that many people who grew up watching comics and old movie adaptations fell in love with.
And if there is no humor (what a movie, such humor), then it was as if I went to a children's play that the children themselves staged: monsters like plasticine toys; graphics and the visual itself would fit perfectly in the fifties; villains alternately copy the mimicry of Dr. Evil, and the humor here is the level of Austin Powers, it's flat there too (but at least there was that humor); the plot is kindergarten, pants with straps; the acting (see above).
And judging by the reviews, it is these comic book adaptations that fans of these comics like the most. And then someone else will prove that comics are adult entertainment.
Or maybe I misunderstood something and it was just a parody of Superman? Then, yes, it turned out mediocre, but still not bad...
And I'll just briefly repeat that the film has an excellent visual, a good plot, a good cast and, of course, Crypto!
I can't help thinking that the script was written by a neural network that rewrote John Wick's script with a dog for Superman.
Judging by the result, the director did not realize at all that he had been given a cult character in his hands. He shot the film as if it were a pilot for the new Superman for Preschoolers show. Apparently, his main task was to make everything sparkle and glow and for the children to clap their hands. But Superman is not a clown in a circus. It's a symbol. But for the creators, it seemed like it was just a guy in tights who could be exposed in a ridiculous costume and collect a cash register.
I would like to say a special "thank you" to those who approved the final design. Red underpants? In 2025? Is this nostalgia for the days of VHS? Maybe then it was worth returning the plastic logo on the chest, as from the costume at the children's matinees? Or should I give him a cape with sequins to completely bring the image to circus clowning?
And the finale: the creators clearly wanted to repeat Snyder's success, but it turned out that "Man of Steel" looks like a divine masterpiece against their background, and "Superman 2025" is a pathetic fan craft. Seriously, after Henry Cavill, this new Superman looks like his TikTok stand-in, shot for a free burger.
If someone writes a negative review, the monkeys are right there with their "You don't understand anything!"
That's just confusing personal opinion with facts. Any feedback is a personal opinion.
And you have to be a complete idiot to write that everyone is lying, but you only have the facts. You just deny that there are people who didn't like the movie, you justify all the criticism of the movie with "it's all bots that lie."
You immediately show the audience who liked this movie.
And when I see with my own eyes the "opinion" that "Justice League", in which Auraman drags a hefty Khrushchev on himself, and she doesn't even fall apart in flight, is a cool movie that respects logic and realism. But at the same time, the same people call the new film, where Superman only supports a skyscraper that is rapidly losing its integrity (because no magical bonding will happen), a cartoon about a weak character without a sense of physics, then... Yes, I catch monkeys on hypocrisy and they squeal.
When they're all trying to make out that the movie with "an alien ship that weakens Superman's abilities because of its atmosphere (there's a huge connection, yeah)" has a cool script and concepts, but the story with the pocket dimension and kryptonite is bullshit for kids (when will they come up with something new?), then their deceitfulness and hypocrisy is indeed a fact.
When they write about the flatness of the characters and the strange motivation in a new movie, but at the same time they write about the conflict that merges with the cry "why did you call that name?", and it's not even worth mentioning Lex, a schizoid who practices necromancy through bloodletting (science, blasphemy). But as they say literally below in the comment, it is the 2025 film that lowers the age level of those who will appreciate it. Yes, yes. Sure.
Well, my favorite story is about cutting for tiktok, when it's these people who turn on the clip scenes in slow mo.
Well, you can tell right away what kind of contingent it is.
This is where your complete failure on all fronts comes in.: The Justice League version, where Superman drags Khrushchev, is the end result, which Joss Whedon shot. It's not Snyder.
You show the audience who liked Gunn's "Superman.")
Therefore, you just sucked this problem out of your finger.)
P.S. In "Man of Steel" by Snyder, this ability is just visually shown. Snyder just showed that Superman has this canonical ability due to which he can lift huge objects so that they do not collapse under their own weight.
Secondly, my young talent, if you were smart, you would notice that in comparison there is the entire arc of the character performed by a particular actor, and there is not a word about the director in that comment (even two comments). Since I'm well aware of who shot what, unlike the monkeys) I'm not writing an "opinion" Ctrl+C Ctrl+V
I'm looking forward with warmth and trepidation to the new variation "You can see the audience that..."😙 Like, first it goes here, then the chewing gum "Love is...", Ariana GrandE and so on.
But this is not a Snyder movie. You just don't want to admit that you've fucked up. You are denying the real fact in order to blacken your reputation.
That is, you are acting exactly like a monkey according to your logic.)
Good luck.
In fact, what you're quoting perfectly captures what I'm saying: You're desperately clinging to salvation in the form of the Justice League, but you're not saying anything about the theses on the IC and BpS. Because if we talk about them, we won't be able to push the responsibility onto Whedon. The script will break down if the monkey encounters reality, ponders it, and recognizes it.
This is your real mistake that you don't want to admit. And the more you deny it, the more you prove that you are that monkey.)
So that the script doesn't crack too much, I don't mind. "You can see the audience that..."at the end.
Oh, are you talking about the "magic field that Superman uses to hold objects in his hands and not punch holes in them"? Oh, yes, I shouldn't have bullied fans of logical and adult kin, it turns out))
This is essentially a critique of Superman Gunn when he saves a woman in a car from a falling building.
As for my criticism of Superman Gunn, it's easy and straightforward.:
At the very beginning of the film, the text says "3 hours ago...".
Superman's fight with Ultraman lasted 3 hours and during that time:
-- Superman suffered fractures and internal injuries.
-- Did not cause any damage to Ultraman.
-- I didn't hear the voice control from Lex.
-- I didn't notice any flying drones around Ultraman.
Even Gunn's Superman movie is shorter than the fight where Ultraman dryly beats Superman offscreen.
And as for your "I even gave you a whole week to come up with them)" - that's such nonsense. Grow up. I haven't seen such teenage maximalism for a long time. Like your phrase, "only monkeys lie to blacken their reputation, and we only tell the facts."
The manners of a rebellious teenager who cannot accept reality and repeats the phrase "You're all lying."
If you want a constructive dialogue, grow up. Even your way of twisting and distorting the names of the characters portrays you as a hysterical child. Go watch Superman Gunn, there are a lot of bright flashing pictures and a funny dog - don't distract adults with your tantrums.
凸( ̄ヘ ̄)
P.S. It's not surprising that your entire filmography includes all the Scooby-Doo cartoons.
It's like a Superman Gunn set - there is a dog, there are vivid pictures, there are jokes, there are "unexpected" unmasking of the character. Everything the younger generation needs.
Even now I'm wondering what you're hiding in your profile. Probably an "adult movie", like a real adult?))
1) Yes, when you receive strong blows from a strong opponent, you can also earn damage. Try hitting something at your leisure if you're not afraid to ruin your manicure.
2) Yes, that's the point of studying Superman's fighting style and developing the appropriate commands.
3) Who cares about letter and number combinations while your kidneys are being beaten off?
4) And if you did, then what? Does he need to be distracted by them, again, during the fight?
"This is essentially a critique of Superman Gunn when he saves a woman in a car from a falling building."
Maharshi, so Superman Gunn does not pretend to be a movie, which he is not, unlike CHIS. This is a movie comic as it is))
But the monkeys persistently squeal about childishness, while declaring Snyder's work to be adult and serious, thoughtful aimed at an "adult audience." No kidding, the "unexpected" unmasking of the character and the dogs that make you sick even now. And I'm giving out teenage reactions.😆
"There's no point in proving something to you" is a very convenient argument when it's impossible to answer questions about "keen", otherwise a lot of other brilliant and thoughtful things will be revealed in the 2013 film.
a) Jor-El, born for science, easily bends over soldiers who were originally designed for war?
b) He does not play along with Zod to stall for time and realize his plans, but abruptly refuses to cooperate with a man who kills all dissenters? Does he want his plan to fail? Then there is no bazaar.
c) Why the fuck is he shooting at the existence of a son about whom he shouldn't say a word at all?
d) Why is Zod so stupid that he wants to turn Earth into Krypton, rather than leave everything as it is and preserve his semi-divine power? Because of the "pain" that he adapted to in a couple of seconds?
e) Why do super-cool mobs created for battles deeply suck off a sucker who is fighting for almost the first time?
f) Why is there a scene with a dramatic laser approaching civilians and holding his head at the end? Has no one told Zod that the eyes can be moved regardless of the position of the head? Why don't these same civilians run away along a completely free path to the right of the Kryptonians, it's probably completely indecent to ask, right?
I hope I formulated my questions in an adult way so that you would have the sense to overcome the monkey script and still answer something about the masterpiece from "meaningless but cool scenes in slow motion" with beer and popcorn.🤭
But, apparently, not fate))
Personally, I didn't get it at all, fierce game.
At one time, everyone omitted Zack Snyder for his film: Man of Steel. Which had a lot of alleged biblical references.
Just look at the uniform (clothes) of the Man himself and these Three clowns
TERRIBLY TERRIBLY, AND ONCE AGAIN TERRIBLY. ONLY FOR CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE
Lex is also very good, I would even say that I like Holt's version more than Eisenberg's version.
The film did not cause any special emotions, although Gunn's style is recognizable, of course. Maybe, of course, it's about Superman as such, he's never bothered me. There are some good moments, but generally no excitement.
Secondly, I was catching vibes of my beloved Smallville all the way. Korensvet is somewhat reminiscent of Welling, plus the picture is so sunny. And it was nice to know that one of the sources of inspiration was this series.
The picture has a very dynamic editing, I didn't feel any obvious sagging at all, plus the effects came out quite well, and this has been rare lately, even in expensive films.
The controversial point in my opinion is the camera, or rather its wide-angle lens. It is very unusual to look at this perspective with large zooms. I didn't like this style of trading, but I even appreciated it in the full movie. This definitely makes the painting stand out from the others.
And now the downside is that we got a second Marvel. For my taste, the last disi was just distinguished by its gloom and serious tone (before the managers got into the editing room). And the main mistake there is that the universe tried to catch up with Marvel by presenting characters not in separate films, but in crossovers at once. The film itself is not outstanding. Yes, there are no super repulsive moments in it, but over time it definitely won't become a classic, and it's easy to forget it right after watching it. The best Marvel films (even solo films) were more epic, more logical, and more inventive. And here it's just a smooth movie. Will there be a sequel? I'll take a look. No, I won't be too upset. And I have questions for Ghana. I thought he knew how to work with hero teams, but for my taste, the Guardians of the Galaxy game copes much better than the movies. And Drax doesn't make a complete idiot of himself, by the way. The disi universe didn't end up with the worst author, but on the whole, I think Gan is a craftsman. He has his own style, but he is not a visionary, like Cameron and Villeneuve. But there is a chance
Crypto - shabaka-babaka, the best.
@Mrs_Tenn_Simm:
but Bizarro was not named Bizarro.(
So it's not Bizarro, it's Ultraman. Actually, when I was watching, at first I thought it was Superboy, since this clone was not so "damaged" externally. Plus Bizzaro has mirror powers, and this clone was just as skilled at shooting lasers from his eyes as Superman.
Superman is like Superman, he's fine. The dog cheers, I don't like ill-mannered animals.
There was a funny animal that grew up.
Lex, I somehow missed the motivation, but it doesn't matter. The actor played just great, I didn't even realize at first that this was a beast from the X-men. These are the last shots with him, and the activity during the battles with superman.
Monkeys with comments are cool) Haters really look like that.
I gave a high rating purely because of Lex. If it wasn't for him, it would be boring to watch.
But, God, what a dumb dog, how I felt better when this mutt turned out not to be Superman, but Supergirl's drunkard (it's a shame that they made her like that, but what), God, the whole movie infuriated me, after the cartoon, Crypto seemed to me very smart and insightful, and then...
the very bark that He runs around my yard and throws himself periodically (I was very upset by this moment, in general.
But this is a small drawback, otherwise the file is very cool, I recommend it)
Although there will be no one better than Lex Luthor from "The Mystery of Smallville" 😂
On the one hand, it's funny that people are already reacting to all sorts of monsters, sitting in offices drinking coffee. On the other hand, it's like watching an episode from the middle of the series.
It's amazing, but they managed to fuck with this dog. Lois was what she wasn't.
And what's the joke with Jimmy Olsen, the terrorist fucker? I would understand if there was a sexy alpha model, so it's some kind of schmuck. If this is a joke, it's as strange as possible.
No offense to ALL the Actors and Actresses BUT.. You know Diane Lane (Clark's Mother), Russel Crowe (Kalel's Father) etc and all the other actors/actresses that portrayed Superman's "Human" parents.. well in this show those Actors and Actresses are EXTRAS THAT NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT.. Imagine Superman's parents as NOBODIES???? hello..
Remember that Supergirl that cousin of Kalel that is HIS family.. guess what, in this movie she is a drunk that parties in different planets, talk about a SUPERgirl, more like your TYPICAL TRASH WOMAN IN THIS DAY AND AGE..
oh i can go on and on, why this movie does NOT FEEL "SUPERMAN".. this is an absolute travesty and disappointment.. ABSOLUTE TRASH..
In short, there are enough disadvantages, I expected a little, but more 😔 3.5/5
If you give a fuck about all this pseudo-nonsense, which both DC and Marvel turn on the organ as they want, then the film is generally cheerful. Although the scene with Luther's sixes is a kindergarten. They hate Superman SO much, well, they hate him SO much that they're even ready to hate him. It's a very cool motivation. A flip instead of a U-turn is pathos for the sake of pathos and a budget for special effects.
Robots are dying - well, hello, have you come up with anything dumber?
An evil secret prison where the powerful of the world keep all kinds of bloggers. eternity. without food. Well, very villainous mba haha. Have you tried to kill it?
It's probably even good that they're trying to make Superman a little more adept than he's always been. Now he is not an omnipotent god, but just a pumped-up alien who can hit a cradle. It is already possible to work with such a concept and develop it further. In fact, he's being groomed to the level of characters from other universes, trying to humanize something.
And what is the Punishment, I don't even know now Melissa Benoist or she
And Fillion (Reynolds nervously smokes on the sidelines, although he now has a Deadpool) from the Gate ... my respects) The terrain was very pleasing, especially in the post-credits scene.
As for Clark and Lois, I'll probably be honest and stay on Cavill's side.. And I didn't like Lois at all, not at all.
But in general , it turned out well . 👌
Only Crypto and Terrefic came
in And, well, Lex was gorgeous.
Anything is better than Superman
I usually start a review with a synopsis of the reviewed tape, but here I'll skip the introductory one, but then, as the play progresses, I'll remember certain moments.
So James Gunn's full-length "Superman" officially launched "Gods and Monsters," the first chapter of the relaunched DC cinematic universe, leaving behind a mess brewed by Warner Bros. bosses who wanted the here and now like Disney/Marvel. Well, as they say, dream in one palm, shit in the other - and see which one fills up faster. Supercaville, Batfleck, Chudogadot, AquaMomoa, InadequatEsraMiller, Cyborg, and others went to waste. And only John Cena and his team survived the relaunch, safely making it to the second season of Peacemaker.
Honestly, the image of Superman (his various film incarnations) has never really inspired me. He's too strong, he's flawless, it's hard to empathize with him (even despite the drama that Snyder has been trying to catch up with in the last few films). That's why I think James Gunn performed a miracle. The second comic book marvel of his career. The first is to get millions of people to fan out on the space scum of the third league of Marvel comics, making the Star-Lord team universal favorites. The second is to get DC off his knees after years of banging his head against the wall.
Yes, in terms of the overall plot, "Superman" may seem like such a standard comic book overcomplicated, especially at the end, muddle. On the other hand, it is necessary to understand what a global and responsible task Gunn faced and what, in fact, Gunn did.
Gunn quickly immerses the viewer in an already formed world. We are not being shown another dreary story of formation. Superman has not only established himself as a crime fighter, but has also become overflowing (more on that later). Not just his alter ego Clark Kent (God, thank you for explaining about the hypno-glasses that don't recognize him! I've always found this moment annoying in Superman stories. Let there be at least hypno-glasses, yes) meets with the journalist Lois Lane, but Lane already knows who Kent is. Moreover, Lex Luthor is not a potential main antagonist of Superman, but has already studied Superman inside and out in order to fight back. That is, we skip over all these key and supposedly obligatory moments. Everyone already knows these fragments of history, why waste time on them? Well, if you don't know something, it quickly becomes clear from the context. Plus, Gunn came up with a funny introductory text tied to the number 3, which gives almost all the necessary information.
By the way, the film begins literally from the moment when Superman lost in battle for the first time in his entire history of superheroism. It's already good - Superman is in a vulnerable position. But not only physically. Gunn comes up with a great trick: Superman became overweight and intervened in the international conflict between Boravia and Jarhanpur. I don't know which countries Gunn was referring to in his head, but the president of Boravia (played, by the way, by Zlatko Buric, the huckster from Nicolas Winding Refn's "Pusher" trilogy) looks very much like Netanyahu, and the situation itself and its background resembles the genocide of Palestine. Although, it would seem, Boravia... However, at the same time, the recent Hanoverian "Monster Commandos" was stolen from him, which, despite the name, smacked of Eastern Europe. Anyway, none of the governments on Earth, including the United States, were satisfied with Superman's escapade, and now there is psychological pressure on him. And even Lois doesn't approve of his actions. And the decryption of the "broken" recording posted online, which was left by Superman's biological parents (the father is played by Bradley Cooper, and the mother is Angela Sarafyan from The World of the Wild West), not only adds fuel to the fire, but becomes the final straw in the plot "The People against Larry Flint", sorry, "Earthlings against Superman." And here it's really one cool move after another on the part of Gunn, the screenwriter. I was really excited about the recording - I don't remember anything like this in the past variations of the story of Kal-El's relationship with his parents (well, maybe in some "What if?" variations). and there was a similar thing), let Gunn be here and openly fucked up, composing the text of the message, but the recording causes the required shocking effect, when even Lex himself remains at a loss, in the style of: "And what about me? I'm all right!". In general, wherever you throw it, Superman has a wedge everywhere, he has to fight back on several unexpected fronts at once - and that's why Gunn manages to create a humane, vulnerable Superman who wants to empathize with. Then, of course, the casting is very successful. Based on the promotional materials, I wouldn't say that David Korensvet is a good fit, but the hit turned out to be perfect. Yes, Korensvet is better than Cavill in this case. Sorry. And he even looks good in red underpants over tights. Perhaps, personally, I am already tired of these gloomy DISH superheroes, I want something and someone more optimistic.
Next up: Gunn has laid a solid foundation for future DC projects. Well, take the illustrations on the walls at the Metahuman headquarters. There's three hundred years' worth of history in there. Or the metahumans themselves. Two of the three are beautifully revealed-sorry, Hawk Girl, it's not your time yet. But the local representative of the Green Lantern Corps, Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion is finally a real superhero! Well, almost) with a moronic but canonical hairstyle, and Mr. Terrible, a tech genius, performed for all the money. And here, again, we can feel this world that has already existed for some time. They are good both in a team with Superman and in a fight with him, and individually, too, everyone can set the heat. And there is a feeling that there is a story between them all.
But at the same time, no one steals Superman's screen time throughout the film. It doesn't seem like he's here in the background, but someone is sending Kent into the shadows. I repeat, Superman is interesting, and this is his solo album. Gunn somehow did everything very carefully, despite a lot of things: characters, heroes and villains, side lines, jokes and special effects.
As for the graphics, with the exception of the deliberately gaudily drawn baby son of Metamorpho, everything looks very decent. Yes, even flights. The action scenes are diverse, epic, and there are many of them. There are also a lot of jokes. Who would be on the same wavelength as Gunn to appreciate the bickering, visual gags, and more in his trademark style: monkeys typing angry comments on social media; mega-brute metahumans against the background of a calm conversation between Clark and Lois; and, of course, the dog Crypto - yes, wrong, that's who constantly steals scenes, so it's her.
In general, I could write a lot more good things - for example, Nicholas Hoult in the role of Luthor is also beautiful, at the same time treacherous and pathetic, as only Holt can play it - but nevertheless I will restrain myself and limit myself to the last thought.
"Superman" is the best Clark Kent movie. It is bright, colorful, driving, stylishly staged. He is moderately dramatic, but at the same time optimistic. He may be a little silly in places, but he doesn't go beyond the genre. It's a great solo album, but it's also full of intriguing concepts and characters that inspire hope for a bright future for upcoming DC films. This is a great combination of the past and the present, nostalgia for the uncomplicated films of the past - it's not for nothing that the soundtrack uses the title theme from the seventies by John Williams for the first time in a long time - and all the modern developments of comics of the last quarter of a century. In the end, the new "Superman" is just interesting and fun to watch from start to finish - during his two hours I never wanted to look at the clock, they say, when it's over. James Gunn completed his task one hundred percent in his hooligan manner, causing children's delight.
Rating: 9 supergirls drunk from the Sun out of 10
WB is back on the same rake. his own film collection. They open with Superman. with the same budget (225 million)), fees (608 million here and 670 million for the Man of Steel. excluding inflows) and estimates.
and Gunn imho repeats Bryan Singer, who made Superman Returns (2006) a sequel. and Gunn is a remake (with the same music. the theme of the genius John Williams). Snyder is a reboot.
2025 and the boom. Marvel did an interesting thing by making Parker an Internet blogger.
Bradley Cooper in the role of biobati is not an option. You'd expect to see Lady Gaga next to him, and Angela Sarafyan looks like her.
I'm surprised that Pruitt Taylor Vince with nystagmus was cast as Bati Kent. eyes).
I like the impatient dog😒 the goose's flerkin cat😊 better.
an aunt with a nanobell looks like a t-1000 or a t-3000.
A micro-reference to the mysteries of Smallville - Michael Rosenbaum (Lex from the series) voiced 1 of the guards in Luther's prison.
maybe I'm pulling a fly on an elephant, but the lantern's phrase is "We, like Superman, are also in outfits/we are also of the cloth". It was shown to me. a reference to the BPS. - I am a friend of your son. "I get it." By the cloak.
Saving Martha (
Why did you say that name?!!!🤣)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrwXAZ5J36c
The lantern also talked about the mask. Clark's glasses. That's what I remember from the childhood TV series Lois and Clark (1993-97), so it's about glasses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM-A4o55ggg
And I like Terry's balls. magneto balls😄

"Bryan Singer-dark and real-but before Snyder."
three imho
1. Peace enforcement and intervention in general are good things. People may doubt this, but by the end they will definitely understand that it is necessary.
2. Musk is a pencil-throwing villain who is friends with dictators.
3. Negative comments, of course, are written only by macaques, UHUUHUU, sorry, it escaped
4. And most importantly: the aliens are your main friends, why don't you want to agree with this simple truth?
@san:
The movie borders between "just fine" and "well, so-so", this can be seen from the comments.
And I wonder if I'm the only one who saw an analogy here between "bloody" Israel and "peaceful" Palestine? Well, it was pushed right into the movie. Why only? A rhetorical question.
How can Ultraman be faster than Superman if he is controlled on a computer? What about the delay in commands?
I watched the movie and forgot.
Lex is great, Terrific is gorgeous, Kent is good, Lois is wonderful.
Well, I hope that the Engineer will appear in the future, the character is cool, although it differs a bit from the comic version.
Personally, I would bet 8/10. And I want to share my opinion in honor of watching.
Positive
1) I like the image of Superman in this movie. If Snyder's soups is a god who tries to live among people, then Gunn's is a man who
tries to live with the power of God. Simply put, if Snyder preferred the alien part of superman, Gunn, in turn, focuses on the human part of the hero. And personally, I like the second option better.
2) Lex Luthor - he is literally the best lex of all those who came before him in the movies. Reeve's is a typical cartoon villain, Singer's is about the same level, the moment with the granny and the wig from the beginning of the movie is fucked up, I'm surprised those moments didn't become memes. Snyder's character is anyone but Luther, he reminded me more of the joker or the riddler, but what can I say if the actor himself admitted that after this role he had problems in his career. Holt played the fierce superman hater one hundred percent, it was nice to watch his scenes together with Korenswett.
3) Lois Lane is by no means a damsel in distress or a filthy mother who leads her son to gangsters. In fact, it is she who saves Supsa by coming to the gang. And the chemistry with David turned out to be good.
4) Jimmy Olsen- he's finally not a character in the background or an extra, and it was because of his actions that Lex was defeated, but that's debatable.
6) Good action- I've heard a lot of people like the action scene with the Horror (it's good), but for me, the juice was at the end when Clark started dealing with Ultraman and Luthor's henchmen.
7) Slightly unusual defeat of the villain- in fact, sups defeated Luthor physically, but Lex's reputation was completely destroyed, and his friends from the Daily Planet whitewashed the Kryptonian, maybe I forgot over the years, but I just don't remember the villain being finished off by the friends of the main character.
1) In the first couple, the film has a rather fast and slightly chaotic pace, which calms down and levels out at the moment of Lois and Clark's conversation with the beetle in the background.
2) The moment with Jimmy Olsen is strange, well, firstly, Lex was exposed because Jimmy was lucky to have met his girlfriend once, and secondly, the film shows that she took compromising photos before Olsen called, and Luthor did not take care of it. If the movie had shown that she was taking pictures in important places, and Luthor then checked and found nothing like that, and he was calm about it, there would have been much fewer questions.(I understand that Lex chose her most likely based on the fact that she is not particularly smart and she alone will not be able to oppose him, but the fact that he did not hedge his bets puts him in a bad light)
3) Nondescript music- while I was watching the movie, the music was perceived normally, but I remember Williams' reworked theme, especially at the moment when people raised the flag and called out to superman, I personally got goosebumps, but in general the music is simple... Well, it's normal, but nothing outstanding.
4) Although the action is good, it's not enough, I wanted the action segments to be a little more (this is not even a minus, but more of a quibble)
5) The eagle, compared to other members of the justice gang, turned out to be pale. It's like she didn't have enough screen time, her most memorable scene is the elimination of the dictator, and that's basically it. I hope it will be revealed in further Dc projects.
I did not look at the description and was surprised to see a Terifika, an Eagle and a Green Lantern.
The new Superman is not a product of mass consumption, but a real movie suitable for fans of comics and superheroes.
Personally, I'm thrilled with the relaunch. This is exactly the kind of project I've been waiting for. You get a little tired of gloomy pictures and eternal depression and you want something bright and cheerful like the new Superman.
And I also really like how they revealed their all-encompassing love for all living things, that he feels sorry for everyone, even monsters, and whose help he wants to be to all living things.
But as a fan of DC comics, I really ask you to strap Jake Gunn to the battery and let him out of the basement only under supervision. This director needs the reins!!
I love James Gunn..
It's a great movie, even if it's a bit too much with silly jokes.
Rachel Brosnahan is a tough cracker!
Well, what a wonderful girl Millie Alcock is...
I'm excited to see what Gunn does next!
I'm also sorry that Snyder wasn't allowed to create the universe we deserved, but I'm already hoping that at least James Gunn can do it. ✨
And I didn't understand why Lex was branded a traitor in the media. He also handed over weapons to a US ally in order to attack a country that is not friends with the United States and take their oil. This is a standard foreign policy.
And guys, the antiprotonic river in which Superman swims? Well, you should have Googled it at least.
I was very pleasantly surprised by Nicholas Hoult. I didn't expect such a strong performance from him.
At the beginning of the film, I thought I had included some kind of parody of a superhero movie, I even looked at the declared genres - there was no comedy. Nevertheless, this is some kind of farce with a freak show, and many people even have costumes here for the sake of ridicule. The jokes are completely inappropriate for this universe, but surely the lightness will appeal to those who have never loved DC.
But then I realized that this was another brainchild of supporters of the US Democratic Party or their punishment under the sauce of superheroics, simply propaganda - here Palestine is clearly read in the image of Jarhanpur, and Israel is under Boravia, and the image of Netanyahu is clearly visible in its leader, well, Lex Luthor is a collective image of a kind of fusion of Elon Musk and Trump, even They talk about the desire to grab a piece of Jarhanpur and become king there (a reference to Trump's investment project in Gaza). Everything would be fine, but I am sure that the creators and the Democratic Party of the United States do not care deeply about the Palestinians and other "Papuans" and they use this "card" exclusively for inter-party internal struggle, in this case also with Trump. It's amazing, of course, how much content and ideas members / supporters of the US Democratic Party generate when they feel threatened - they've already made so many films / TV series since Trump's first term, including "The Fall of the Empire," just a ton of books, I've read some, for example, about discussions about the threats of modern corporations, technologies, including social networks and all of course with a proposal to introduce restrictions, regulation or ban. And most importantly, many of the thoughts are correct, but they didn't care when it worked in their favor. And it is often explicitly stated that the result of these fabrications is Trump's rise to power. Republicans can't do that, of course, because when they lose, they don't generate such a lot of content and different ideas about how to solve some problems. Perhaps that was my main impression of the film.
This CGI dog is a terribly boring addition to the movie, you could have left it in the comics.
But the secondary characters are Top, Jimi, Eve, and the beautiful rock'n'roll Louis!! And, of course, the villain Nicholas Hoult. 🫶
In general, it's watchable
