Description
When the seaside community of Amity finds itself under attack by a dangerous great white shark, the town's chief of police, a young marine biologist, and a grizzled hunter embark on a desperate quest to destroy the beast before it strikes again.
The film Jaws does not have a large budget, but Spielberg's talent allowed him to make the most of what was and make just the same masterpiece, which gave rise to a whole genre of similar films. And what is interesting is that the sinister shark is not shown in the Jaws all the time, but stealthily: that camera will look out of the water with the shark's gaze, then the water will suddenly turn red, etc. Of course, it is more interesting not to constantly look at the monster, because it will become familiar and completely not repulsive, but to give us horror crumbs in order to bring us to the final to the point of concentrated horror! And interestingly, this whole shooting style turned out only because of technical problems with the famous layout of the great white shark. In our case, it happened fortunately and the Jaws were removed as they are!
I also note the amazing acting of Roy Scheider and Richard Dreyfus in the role of the townspeople, who, by the will of fate and duty of service, must protect the resort town from horror. And, of course, the soundtrack of Spielberg's constant composer, John Williams, heats up the atmosphere of eerie obscurity just to the limit. The melody from Jaws is one of the simplest but most memorable in the world of cinema, and in the thriller genre!
After the first Jaws, a lot of films and TV series about sinister sharks were shot, but none of them managed to even come close to the level of Steven Spielberg's Jaws. This is a truly iconic movie and every fan of a good movie is obliged to watch this masterpiece!
