Overview
After cracking the biggest case in Zootopia's history, rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De'Snake arrives and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.

This. It was. Magically, the second part preserved everything that we loved so much in the first part, while adding charming new characters. The dynamics of our main characters are wonderful, even shed a tear. 😭
I wish it would be released in Russia as soon as possible so that I could watch it a second time!!!
The second is that the first half hour seemed to pay homage to the first part, as everything is dynamic, funny, and funny. The rest of the time, we just watch plot twists and... that's it. It's a little sad, there have been so many years of waiting, but the original has not been surpassed. Nevertheless, the cartoon deserves attention.
I really want to watch it again
And I'm definitely a fan of Judy and Nick.
the second one is also very exciting and is not inferior in level at all, and in some ways even better. new characters appeared, but old acquaintances were also pleased (the same famous sloth, for example).
Our couple's new investigation is intriguing. Judy throws herself into a new business again, but Nick does it in his own way, but follows his friend. In principle, the cartoon has become a little more serious, although there are still plenty of jokes here. and these jokes are quite understandable and funny, without any excess. The picture is very bright and colorful, and I got a certain buzz from it on the big screen.
well, Disney, as usual, added a few references to his other projects. it was funny to see it ;)
So much time has passed since the release of the first part, but when I started watching the sequel, I forgot about it, as if the first cartoon was released only yesterday! Favorite characters, atmosphere, humor - everything is still on the same level, this is the same Zootopia that we all fell in love with!
The plot turned out to be interesting and exciting, with great new characters and the development of Laura (Gary the snake got into 🩵). The animation is just great. Judy and Nick are still loved ones, and it's nice to see their personal growth, and the fact that going through all the difficulties, their team only gets stronger. ♥️
"Zveropolis 2" is a cozy, witty, touching and incredibly high-quality cartoon, ideal for both children and adults. We are waiting for the continuation ~
I knew that the second part would be good, but I didn't expect it to be so good. The cartoon is great, the music, the animals, the intrigues and the investigations. I didn't expect this part to be a little more mature, there were times when I didn't even expect it to be crammed in. My son especially liked the Snake.
But it's still a great cartoon, I'll definitely include more.
100 Claws out of 100
Lots of references, jokes. They managed to keep the stamp.
Nasty fetishistic jokes, worm-eating scenes. Terrible cropping (as a person fumbling for a photo, it hurt me). The weak plot, the gushing of locations for a couple of minutes and the wild notational dialogues between the gg with an abundance of pseudo-psychological terms were wildly frustrating...(
I liked the cartoon itself, I recommend watching it!
There are plenty of references for kids with humor and colorful pictures, as well as for a more adult audience.
I really liked the scene where Judy and Nick reveal their psychological problems in a hurry, a good satire from the authors on all this demagogy with mental trauma))
But I didn't expect a turn with a trotter at all, I was delighted, I liked this certain note of gloom and how he "hunted" the rest of the guys
We can also mention a certain story about Native Americans from the obvious, and the tenth thing.
And so, in general, for family and not so much viewing, that's the best thing! We left the cinema under a good impression
The cartoon itself, emotionally, now seems to be one of the best sequels. In terms of animation, for sure. Funny, charming, emotional, and with an interesting story (detective story, too). I already want to review it.
"I love you, partner. But you know, I don't say this more than once every 10 years."
The beautiful animation doesn't even need an introduction, The song is, of course, weaker than in part 1, but it's still good, and that's a huge plus, thanks to our Gazelle X)
It remains to wait for the 3rd part with birds, because we didn't have this particular category.
Well, yes, it's a pity that they didn't move Nick and Judy's ship further, but thanks for the hints)
Well, in general, an exemplary sequel, of the kind "everything is the same, only in a new wrapper." It's a good option to spend a hundred minutes.
How did the creators censor Nick and Judy's relationship, well, it's just magic where everyone understands how they want
I liked the story, until the last I thought that it was the snake that would be the antagonist.
Beautiful Shakira sang ost again, I expect it to be a hit😍
The cartoon keeps the same spirit of the first part: a lively world, normal humor, pleasant characters, no awkward morality for every frame. Judy and Nick are working as a cool duo again — they have chemistry, dynamics, and their own little jokes. And, best of all, the plot doesn't try to seem smarter than it is. It just works: a detective line, adventures, a couple strong scenes, a couple funny moments — and it all feels like a continuation, not an attempt to restart the franchise.
The animation is great. The details of the city, the animals, the light are all on the same level. It's even better than the first part in some places, especially in the big scenes. The music is normal — it doesn't annoy, it doesn't get ahead, it keeps you in the mood.
The main thing is no obsession, no "we want to teach you something again." Just a cartoon that you can watch and have fun like before. This is exactly what no one expected from Disney anymore, so it feels even more pleasant — as if they remembered that they can also entertain.
In general, it turned out to be a good-looking, cute, fully grown-up cartoon, which is not a shame to turn on even to yourself in the evening.
Well, in general, thanks to him for the atmosphere that was in the first part. I watched the second part right after returning from Disneyland in Shanghai, where there was a whole Zootopia sector with a rebuilt city right down to the smallest detail, probably because of this, the viewing effect is even more pleasant!
The Japanese Tanuki nod in agreement. If you're wondering what they have to do with it, I can tell you too.
in 1963, Sterling North wrote a book: "A Crook: Memories of a better Era." In it, he told an autobiographical story about how a boy picked up a raccoon and how he began to live with it. What a funny, naughty raccoon he was, what jokes he learned, and so on. The book was popular, and even Disney made the movie "Rascal" based on it in 1969. And the Japanese are like that — what are we worse than? And in 1977, the Araiguma Rascal anime was launched. 52 episodes. One episode a week (before the invention of Netflix, there was still a hell of a time). And... it started.
After all, now, it seems to me, everyone already knows that a raccoon is not the kind of animal that should and can be kept at home. This thing is more serious than the Mongol invasion, and no Divine Wind can save it. Everything that can be broken will be broken, everything that can be tasted will be eaten, and no one will be able to stand between the raccoon and the bullshit that interests him. And, attention, the funny thing is, in the book and in the movie this moment is shown — in the end, the hero realizes that the raccoon is a wild animal and it is impossible to live with him in the same house. But that's at the end of the story. As I remind you, we have one episode per year. And while viewers were getting to the last episode, they were buying raccoons in the amount of several hundred individuals per month. They were specially imported from the USA because they are so smart, funny and so naughty... And after a while, the terrible truth was revealed: they weren't raccoons — it fucked up, especially when they grew up. And the Japanese, disappointed and disappointed in their best feelings, quietly threw them out into the cold. As a result, 44 of Japan's 47 prefectures are currently suffering from raccoon infestations. They bred without predators in their new habitat. Along the way, raccoon dogs (tanuki) were driven out of their habitats, rummaging through garbage, harming, eating crops, damaging monuments (there is a temple that stood for 900 years, but now has not withstood the raids of these creatures). And to shoot or somehow limit the population is the Japanese with their kaaaaaaaaaay... They won't understand.
In general, the first rule is to always read the materials to the end and draw conclusions based on as much information as possible.
Secondly, it reminded me both funny and sad of the story when the Chinese, in my opinion, decided to exterminate sparrows (why not?), and then they were overcome by locusts))
The perfect cartoon, very easy to watch, all the parts fall right into the very heart. 🫶🏻
You can laugh and cry here. The main thing is that there is a semantic load, but it is presented so professionally that it turned out to enjoy the film. 😜
I really like that the action is constantly happening in the film — I didn't want to get off the screen at all. 🙀
I love Judy and Nick, their interactions are incredible.
Nick's jokes are totally awesome! 😹
I really liked the new characters, especially the snake — he's so kind.💔
Beaver is the crazy one we've been missing! ☺️
I noticed a reference to the movie Ratatouille. Oscar's in the studio! 🏆
* I recently watched the movie "Elementary", I advise everyone, the vibes are similar.
The snake is a very strange character, as if under substances all the time.
Of course, it's a children's cartoon, but there's no reference. And the themes are not just childish. And the script is like for five-year plans : (it's sad, it could have been much more exciting, as in the first part. I saw a comment that the cartoon and jokes are very safe – to the point
P.S. the snake suspected the sex of the cartoon, I thought he was hypnotizing everyone. There was also such a hypnotizing melody playing in the background😁
And I'm still an infantile jerk, which means it's time to stop hiding behind pseudo-intellectual texts and just list, um, vibes?
Zoofilia 😍+Furry Detective+Nice paws+ Treasures of Lynxnazi+Bottomless humor+Rango
Again, the cartoon provides therapy better than a herd of pseudo-psychologists and gives such pleasure that many blockbusters are not able to give. Incomparably, one of the best works of Disney, in fifteen years we are waiting for the feathered triquel and hope that this time they will not miss.
My wife and I think they even surpassed the first part here.
Maybe
if we just talk to each other, if we just try to understand each other, we'll see that our differences don't really matter. Maybe we'll even realize that what makes me me and you you can make us even stronger.
Thank you that Zootopia is a bright film for children, with a few jokes with falls and fights, but without toilet humor; and for adults, with cool jokes and deep thoughts.
Yes, it's been worth the wait for almost ten years. And if the next part is just as magical and incomparable, I'm ready to wait as long as that!
PS
. Towards the middle of the film, I caught myself thinking that Nick and Judy are very reminiscent of detectives Piralta and Santiago (hello Brooklyn 9-9 fans). And the funny thing is that Andy Samberg (aka Piralta) voiced Pubert Rysevich here. But it would probably be fun if he voiced Nick)
10/10 💛
The standard "the villain will sacrifice the world for you, and the hero will sacrifice you for the world"
With great animation
I'll give you 9 out of 10.
A must-watch, especially for those who liked the first part.
There's a post-credits scene with a hint of the third one)
But the day before, I reviewed part 1, and it leaves a brighter aftertaste.
Although, of course, part 2 came out strong, I will definitely review it.
I am pleased with the new locations and the disclosure of lore)
The cartoon is wonderful!
A vivid, wonderful story about friendship, help, and the search for justice.
The plot is cool, all the old characters are in place, and the new charismatic beaver and snake add integrity and dynamics to the story.
In short, I liked everything.
I would have changed his name a little.
I don't remember the first part at all and I haven't reviewed it, so it was difficult to understand at the beginning. But the director did a good job and explained what happened before.
I really liked the references to other cinema works. My favorite was with the shining. Unexpected and pleasant! I also enjoyed the occasional pop-up of cartoon-themed brands (noticed by uniclo!)
Well, the new characters are just adorable, worth watching. 🙂↕️
As for me, a high-quality product and a cool plot can fail only if, God forbid, there is another pandemic, and everything else does not affect.
The post-credits scene was obvious considering that reptiles were introduced in the second film.
It was unexpected to see a reference to King's "Shining."
Naturally, "Ratatouille" also noticed.
We are waiting for the third part, hopefully not in 10 years. :D
It's a wonderful cartoon. I liked this part as much as the first one. The number of Easter eggs is just at the maximum. I laughed at a sheep sitting in a cage with bulletproof glass and holes, like Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs.
A little hint about what part 3 will be about
The password on Paul's computer is "P@Rt3izFr&BrdZr2", meaning "Part 3 is for real, and birds are too", and in the post-credits scene, a feather fell on Judy's windowsill. So we are waiting for the birds to appear.
And how old is the little one?
remember at least Shrek 2001, where there are a lot of references, it turns out that even then
, and in general, cartoons are trying to make sure that adults don't suffer from boredom.
Of the advantages:
Very good Russian voice acting.
✅️ Charismatic and charming characters (both familiar and new)
✅️ Constant traffic! It's a ball, an underground club, an abandoned hotel. The locations are simply gorgeous! And the dynamics are felt.
Lots of humor, Easter eggs, references. Especially the Shining and Ratatouille made me laugh a lot! And also jokes about other cartoons starring animals.
Shakira's rousing soundtrack, which I enjoyed at the cinema.
The topics of betrayal, friendship, and family are raised.
The characters' dialogues touched my soul very much.
Many familiar characters are returning - the reckless sloth, Mr. Big, his daughter and granddaughter, the sheep, fellow police officers, and Finek.
✅️ A hint of the next part, which I will look forward to with pleasure!
✅️ The chase scene at the beginning of the film made me laugh to tears 🤣
The disadvantages are much less:
❌️ We have been waiting for almost 10 years... But it was worth it!Not too much
The villain is somewhat similar to the villain from the first part. His motives are shown, which have their own logic. Where is
the husband of the mafia daughter and the father of the granddaughter? Why wasn't it shown?
A great family movie that is interesting for both adults and children. Must-see!
The Shining, Ratatouille, the Silence of the lambs, Fast and furious, Titanic. Who else noticed anything?
Nick and Judy's couple steals my heart for the second time, but the new characters are just lovely! especially beaver and Harry 🥺
special praise for the soundtrack! I was just waiting for the performance at the end, and for good reason. 😌🥳
cool cartoon!
Judy and Nick are my favorites!
A magical cartoon! ❤
At the same level as the first part)
I'm very touched, it's such a cozy and funny cartoon, I shed a tear for a couple of moments. :3
And what cool references))
She laughed out loud from Ratatouille)
Are we waiting for the third part in 10 years?)
I watched a thriller and was even surprised for the first couple of seconds that this lynx turned out to be a bad guy
In terms of beauty, Zootopia is just endless molasses for the eyes throughout the story. The detail of the character drawing is something out of the ordinary. Each hair can be easily examined, the texture of the clothes is worked out to the villi. I'm just afraid to imagine how many man-hours it took for such a result. And if we also keep in mind how realistic natural and artificial light falls on objects in the cartoon, how water interacts with different fabrics and wool, and how it changes them under its influence, how diverse the vegetation in the world is, how many different costumes were shown on a variety of characters in an hour and forty-five, then Such attention to detail can drive you crazy.
In the same conversation about details, you can add a large number of high-quality references and homages that are woven into the fabric of the plot so that they do not attract attention and do not seem inappropriate. "What does the fox say", Zoogle, iCarrot instead of iPhone, Deersney, Pigsar, Indylama Jones, Ratatouille, Mad Max, Burning Man, The Silence of the Lambs, The Shining - these are just the things that immediately catch your eye when you first watch. I can't even imagine how many different references there really are. But separately, of course, I was amused by the review of the new part of Frozen in the Zootopia universe - "Floatzen 12 - The best sequel of a sequel of a trilogy that re-imagined the original I've ever seen - Legitimate Movie Reviews"
Different details of the world that are similar to ours, but have differences adjusted for the wildlife of the city, are also just a miracle: police spikes in the form of porcupine needles, a door in the form of a turtle shell, a lizard "double bass player" in a jazz quartet that plays in its own language - a wonderful approach to recreating the world in which you believe even more strongly due to such techniques.
Nick and Judy's duet is still as wonderful as it was in the first part. They still perfectly complement and reveal each other with their opposites. Given that their relationship goes through turbulence and transformation during the course of the story, they have conflicts that eventually lead to a better understanding of each other, their conversations and interactions are extremely fascinating to watch from the beginning to the end of the cartoon.
The humor is great. Most, if not most, of the humor is conveyed through various non-verbal moments, but there are also enough direct jokes in the dialogues that at least make you smile. Incompatible couples in therapy like an elephant and a mouse are amazing. Engineering rats taking out jammed soda cans in vending machines is great. A ferry in the form of a walrus with a frightening look (and, in principle, interaction with it and its relatives) is also amazing. And the Blitz is still cool even nine years later) And it's also funny that Nick's communication with the rabbit has paid off and he gets home by transport after work...P.S.
The scene with the Claw Hammer typing in the password on the computer and going through the captcha was already funnier implemented in the game Split Fiction, but it doesn't spoil the weather, so I don't want to cling to it too much.
As it is, the plot is interesting, as is the detective line running through the entire narrative. Global and interpersonal conflict works great and causes the necessary emotions. The plot twist in the final third is also not bad from the perspective of how it helps the characters to look at each other in a new way and open up from vulnerable sides. And works that are so complex and complexly created fall into the section of real art for me. Therefore, the existence of the second part of Zootopia for me is happiness, not torture. And I'm very happy about that.
P.S. Nick and Judy's interactions are my greatest love!! 🥹❤️🩹
surprised that the sequel wasn't immediately molded after the billion. collections of the original. And that's good.
the Disney screensaver is getting longer and more beautiful (it's strange that it was cut off at the beginning). The campaign will soon be shown inside the castle. like a ball with Disney characters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVz9fKN4lN8
and I was waiting for a reference to Shine (1980) a little earlier. when the heroes got into the hole. the hotel on the mountain.
disconnect*. In the dubbing, Movidal voiced the beaver. Olga Bobrik🤣
offtop. in the orig. Dad's a lynx. David Strathairn (the Bourne villain 3). imho, from the "face" of the lynx, I thought it was Brian Cox (the Bourne villain 2).
in the original. In English, there is generally a killer cast of cameo voice acting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ8OcYJ7xMI I love my
older brother and sister Lynx. husband and wife (in fact) Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song.
From Brooklyn 99, Andy Samberg is not the only one there. lynx), but also Stephanie Beatriz (hippopotamus cop), and Danny Trejo (lizard in a sombrero) played the Persian's father Beatriz.
Michael J. Fox news. Who would you think? Fox in jail with Biff Tannen's phrase - "What are you looking at, butt-head?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo6aA3Qplv4
Ed Sheeran as Ed Shearin - a sheep in a barnshop
🙂 the head of Disney Bob Iger as Bob Tiger (Iger/tiger) is a tiger weather forecaster. The funny thing is that Bob started working as a weather forecaster after graduation
Bond and Cinderella😊
Of course, at some point it seems that there is already an inflection with references.
Well, again, doing a twist with the villain, as in the first part, is also strange.
But otherwise, I'm just thrilled!
Except that Judy was sometimes annoying with her behavior...
My personal rating is 3-/5.
