Overview

George Bailey has spent his entire life giving to the people of Bedford Falls. All that prevents rich skinflint Mr. Potter from taking over the entire town is George's modest building and loan company. But on Christmas Eve the business's $8,000 is lost and George's troubles begin.

I will watch this movie for the hundredth, thousandth, millionth time and I will still cry as I did the first time. One of the reasons why the word "Hollywood" was once pronounced with
a sigh. P.S. If I had such a husband, and life would take him away from me, I would also become an old maid and live in a library. Jimmy Stewart is the ideal and model of a man, both in movies and in life.

A wonderful and soulful movie, long and firmly settled in the folder of the New Year. The best". I watch with pleasure, I adore old movies, my soul just rests on pure speech without obscenities, scenes without dirt, sex and violation, when they put some sense and morality into movies! No wonder this picture has been America's favorite movie for many years.

I almost cried at the end. As a child of 2000, it was very difficult to watch at first. After all, the film is many years old. But as the plot slowly unfolded, it turned out to be very interesting. There were not enough magical moments, their timing was not enough for me.
But still. A cool movie! It would be cool to watch a modern remake :)

The film mostly seemed boring and gloomy, but the ending and understanding of the meaning of the film brightened up the finale.

The topic is serious and I even thought about some moments of my life.🤔

It's a wonderful movie, I cried like a child at the end.
In some places, the development of events was slower than we would have liked, but the ending, the atmosphere, the actors, and in general the very meaning inherent in this picture were worth it.
We are all needed and important. If it weren't for us, everything would be different 🙏
There are actually a lot of good and beautiful things in everyone's life, the question is, do we notice it ourselves, do we appreciate it?
A person who has friends is already a rich man 🙌
The movie is a reminder of all this and not only for repeated review.

In such a cross-section of human life events, I think many people would think that jumping off a bridge is the way out. No, seriously, he really has so much on his plate that it's tough, I think in real life you can move purely from such wild stress... It's good that the ending turned out to be good after all.

I watched this movie for the first time. And despite the flaws, despite the fact that banking is not close to me, I was very touched by this film with the story of a simple and kind man who reached despair, but got help. And if a film touches the soul even many years after it was shot, it is truly immortal.

It's a very instructive, good old movie that touches the soul and makes you think. Indeed, one should never despair.

A very atmospheric, pleasant and beautiful film, like a picture on an old postcard, but with modern high-quality coloring - about the selfless, honest, conscientious man George Bailey and mutual assistance in a difficult period for him, from people grateful to him, and also about timely help from an angel.
