Overview
This is the extraordinary true story of Trudy Ederle, the first woman to successfully swim the English Channel. Through the steadfast support of her older sister and supportive trainers, she overcame adversity and the animosity of a patriarchal society to rise through the ranks of the Olympic swimming team and complete the 21-mile trek from France to England.

10/10 the coolest movie ever
especially if you consider the conditions in which the girl was. her own father did not believe in her and did not allow her to realize herself in her favorite business. and in principle, there was harassment of such things in society, as well as health problems.
and despite all this, she persevered and surprised everyone. She became an icon for many women, inspiring them with her perseverance to pursue her dreams and goals.
I highly recommend it for viewing.
It's unclear why they didn't give her a compass when she was sailing alone in the dark. Why didn't the escorts get into a motorboat (or a regular one with oars) to indicate the direction?
