They skillfully show us what we want to see, because the main task of a detective is to play with the viewer and ask more and more questions, while always giving answers, otherwise it will be a one-way game, and the script allows us to solve certain moments. That's really a compliment for the atmosphere of mysticism and horror. The director here is still at a titanic level, and when it comes to music, ideas, and all of the above, the creator hits the bull's-eye. Many people are bothered by the slow, unhurried rhythm of the narrative, but I did not notice this, the tension and reasoning during my walks around the city did not tire me, and on the contrary, I was waiting for this denouement, especially since Hitchcock was able to surprise us by giving us a plot twist not at the end, but in the middle, which dramatically changes the attitude, and you are already waiting for the original the answer to the puzzle. Fortunately, the characters ask understandable questions and behave not according to the will of the script, but like real people. The acting performance of the two title roles is clearly something that will suit your taste.

If we briefly describe how Hitchcock creates an alarming atmosphere, then I will say that the hero just rises on a stool, and I'm already scared. Not because he's going to fall, but just alarmingly. Because of the music, the production and some special atmosphere. That's what Hitchcock is all about.

Hitchcock is a master of suspense, and what a picture here! Old America, elegance in every frame. Of course, Vertigo should be perceived as a classic of cinema. The timing is 2 hours, the film is slow, but it is able to keep in suspense.

If you don't ask questions about the antagonist's actions, because his scheme is too complicated, in my opinion, then the film is very good. It's not a bad thriller.
