The book has a minus: you can get carried away and start absorbing astrophysical science pop (Carl Sagan, Kip Thorne,
Michio Kaku, Sergey Popov) on an industrial scale.
According to the film, it turns out that the meaning of humanity's existence is in growing corn.⠀:/

Discovered the new McConaughey
I forgot about everything while watching the movie) it's a pity I didn't think of watching it on the big screen for the first time
*I turn on the movie 5 times*
Well, the film itself is undoubtedly gorgeous, one of my favorites. The very case when the cast and the game are 10/10, the director is 10/10 and the music is 10/10
The music in this movie is something amazing.
A journey beyond infinity, a frontier where humanity has not yet set foot. An emotional story about a father and daughter. A father who understands that people need help, but for this he must leave his family.

has once again proved that he
is a brilliant director.
The soundtrack is beautiful
The moment with the falling books is just goosebumps ❤
we cried well))))
The movie is cool - Nolan is a genius. Who does not agree , reconsider , if you do not understand the second time, ask for an explanation 🫰✨
I hope everyone will watch this film and emphasize for themselves what they lack.
I can say one thing for sure. I am very impressed by this film. Here you need to watch, not listen to your retelling.
And in general, my favorite movie
I wish there were more such films.
Definitely 5/5.
Not a movie but a masterpiece 💫

The universe is amazingly beautiful! After all, everyone sees this world and what lies beyond in their own way!
The directing is great!
The music from this movie sometimes plays on my playlist and takes me into an incredible world of fantasy!
Of course, it's naive in some places, the special effects are already a bit old, and the ending could have been brighter. But for an old action movie, it's a credit! Perfect for relaxing in the evening.
Interstellar: Science behind the scenes.
More like that!
But also more joy!
The story of a father and daughter really catches the nerve. And the music there is such that it gives you goosebumps. McConaughey played great, and his daughter is really great.
Yes, it's a bit complicated in places, but it's worth it. More than two hours fly by unnoticed. In general, if you want something unusual and deep, this is what you need. I definitely advise you to take a look!
And, as for me, there is not enough basic information about the world. You have to think of a lot of things on your own.
The cast is a complete delight. Matthew McConaughey, whom I know from romcoms, whom I'm madly in love with. Anne Hathaway is an actress I grew up watching movies with. She doesn't look like she's getting old... The actress who played Bella and Edward's daughter from Twilight. The adult Murphy is also an actress I know, but I don't remember where I saw her. Well, Timothy Chalamet completes the list of familiar actors. Honestly, after "Call me by your name," I can't take it any other way.
and so. TO SEE MCCONAUGHEY AND HATHAWAY IN THE DRAMA FICTION GENRE WAS JUST FANTASTIC, INSANELY COOL, INSANELY TOUCHING, INSANELY SOUL-BLINDING. I WAS CRYING.
I was in suspense from the beginning of the movie to the end. And she literally screamed (to herself, of course) when Cooper opened his eyes in the room, "WOW, HE'S ALIVE." I wasn't hoping for this outcome at all, honestly. And this whole situation with the alleged ghost, I'm so shocked by what's happening, how it all turned out. Although to be honest, Cooper didn't seem like a good father to me at first. My grandfather was mainly involved in raising children, and my father didn't care about the problems at school, and he wasn't in much of a hurry to call the principal. It was painful to watch him leave Murphy's room for the last time and then see them grow up on the recordings. I cried, I cried a lot, along with Cooper. She cried when Murphy felt betrayed by her father, who flew away and left them to die on a decaying Earth. I cried when Murphy was dying.
"Did you tell them that I adored the farm? It was me, Murph. I was your ghost."
And
a father shouldn't have to see his child die.
HOW IT CUT TO THE HEART.
I think there are some things I didn't understand. That's why people watch movies, so that they notice something new every time. I'll review it too, for sure. Now it seems to me that the betrayal Murphy saw may be related to Amelia. The father left, flew away with the woman.
But then they flew to an icy planet, where his emotions cooled down and he decided to fight for all of humanity, not only to rush to his children. (Oh, how angry I was at this under-researched liar. I don't know, none of what he said was an excuse for me to do such a thing) and this Mann (was that his name?)He had been alone for so long, without people, and had given up hope. I wanted to get home by all means, even if it was selfish. Which makes me wonder if this is a confrontation between Cooper himself. I'll explain: he was kind of going home, but decided to think rationally and objectively and finish plan A successfully. This doctor appeared, who caused such sadness literally (he also caused pity at first), reminded me about the children, which caused an even greater desire to go home. But he is also the embodiment of weakness and selfishness, for whom salvation lies in flight, not in love and faith in others.
It was very touching to watch Cooper realize that he didn't spend enough time with his children, didn't appreciate the dedication and love that surrounded him. Just the moment when it is revealed that the ghost is him.
And Murph is really so smart. She not only saved humanity, but also lived a long and happy life and found a family. And my father only managed to say goodbye. I will return to the phrase about the fact that a father should not watch a child die... I felt so offended. Still, as a child, she was greatly influenced by her father's departure, so she chose to stay with her children, and told him that Amelia was "waiting."
So, the very fact that our planet is actually suffering is terrifying. And it makes the movie a little more real (relatively).
I'm not good at astronomy, although I'm so attracted to it all, but now I want to learn a little more about space and galaxies.
This movie not only made me feel, it made me want to keep learning new things, to want to live life. Live a happy life. And do not forget about the transience of time, so as not to dwell on temporary difficulties and unnecessary things and people. And vice versa, to devote time to those who care about me, my opinion and interests, and what brings joy and peace of mind.
Can he come in now?) He's also an excellent and interesting cast member.
A good movie for the evening.
— If I say that love is not an invention of mankind, it is a tangible quantity, it is a force, it must mean something.
— Love matters, yes. Public benefit: social connections, parenting...
— We love people who have died. What is the public benefit of this?
— No...
— Maybe love is something more that we are not able to realize yet. Maybe it's evidence of something... an artifact of some other dimension that we are unable to comprehend. And I'm drawn across the universe to a man I haven't seen in 10 years and who may already be dead. Love is the only feeling available to us that can transcend time and space. Maybe we should trust her, even if we don't understand her essence?"
After the film gravity, I couldn't watch any films about space, my childhood trauma, I loved space very much and dreamed of being an astronaut. But in physics class, I realized that I wouldn't be any better..
The movie itself confused me at the end, and I'm just trying to figure out what's going on in the end, these parallels are always confusing...
Well, the movie is wow and great for that time, but not wow now. But the top was taken off.
And honestly, I don't fully understand why people praise and love this movie so much, I'd appreciate it if you could write me one reason other than editing and filming)
Let infinity smolder in a furious sunset.
Anger burns at how the mortal world is going out,
Let the sages say that only darkness is right.
And don't light a smoldering fire.
Don't go away humbly, into the twilight of eternal darkness."
It is not for nothing that it is in many top rankings
Probably one of the best in his genre.
(There is also a good movie similar to one of the actors, "The Martian", if you like this genre)
