Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

As is often the case, a long-running franchise at some point loses its brutality and approaches a mass audience (the owners are trying to cram the project into the framework of a family movie).
It was the same with Robocop 3, and it seems to have worked out with the third Mad Max. Helping the kids; violence, softened in the frame.

It's kind of crap, I watched three parts and didn't get hooked on any of them, even though I read that these films are kind of iconic. But if I want to watch something with Mel Gibson, I'd rather watch Lethal Weapon or Braveheart, but I definitely don't want to see Mad Max anymore.

It was even painful to watch. Antics, tinkering with children, a trick with leather turns into just a BDSM outfit, everything is served as foolishly as possible.

It's the same Mad Max from the distant 80s. it looks strange now)

The worst part of the Gibson trilogy, but the best representation of the post-apocalypse on the screen. Now it looks much worse than the second part, whose minimalism can be considered a reference and does not age. There are also too many details that betray the old age of the painting.
