I didn't see it as a child, I was glad to watch it as an adult, the film is well made, the actors play well)

A classic action movie for all time. This film has everything: a gorgeous cast, a brilliant script by Shane Black, excellent direction by Richard Donner, a wonderful tandem of young Mel Gibson and no less cool Danny Glover. One of the best films in the genre "buddy movie" and one of the best action movies in general, although in some ways it is not an action movie at all, as it may seem at first glance, but quite a serious drama. I definitely recommend it to everyone without exception.

A wonderful entertaining action movie with elements of a life drama with a cool acting duo of Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. According to the plot, their characters are so different, but still always a mountain for each other. A good movie, a classic American action movie for all time!

The film is gorgeous, it still looks fresh and in one breath, the Gibson and Glover duet sparkles. And Shane Black's favorite Christmas atmosphere always brings a New Year's mood at any time of the year!

I remember my father showed me this movie for the first time in the distant past... I am very glad that I reviewed it at an already conscious age. Comedy, drama, action movie. Everything is here and everything is fine here)

All the films in this series are good in their own way, but the first one has the highest quality character drama, which makes Martin Riggs stand out very well against the backdrop of a ton of other masculine action heroes of the 80s. And the duet of intentionally opposite characters is not something new for that time, but it fired a Deadly weapon with great force (pun intended) thanks to the great Gibson-Glover actors, and not just the idea that the weak series with goat Wayans proved.

I watched this movie for the first time at the age when it seemed like 50 years old was a fucking old man and all these "I'm too old for this shit" were funny. And now I've watched it (I don't remember which time) and suddenly realized that I don't have much time left before that :)
