Overview
Victor is the owner of a trendy restaurant, but things are not going well in it. The only hope is for New Year's Eve, because all the tables are already booked, but December 31 comes and the chef and the whole team leave the restaurant. It would seem that everything is gone, and then Olesya, the owner of the kitchen at home in a village near Moscow, appears in the restaurant. She brought cakes that Victor had accidentally ordered from her and even managed to forget about it. Victor offers Olesya to become a chef for New Year's Eve. She refuses, Olesya promised her son Kirill a New Year's tale with fireworks. Victor persuades her to agree, he believes in her and knows that Olesya has a special gift — to awaken the best memories from people with her dishes. Will Olesya and Victor be able to perform a real New Year's miracle: feed all the guests with special dishes and fulfill the promise made to Kirill?

I recommend watching the film during the New Year holidays.
It's very nice to watch
The film is saved only by small personal stories, but there is no New Year's atmosphere from the word at all.
A very warm feeling in my soul after it
And Priluchny, as always, is nothing...
You can and even should watch it to raise the New Year's mood and atmosphere!
You can turn on the background, but I didn't see any direct games.
75 million rubles were spent on this project, and I'm honestly shocked.. Everything is beautiful, but the game is just trash
Everything else is kind of formulaic and unreliable.
And it's clear that there were resources, why not do something original, or at least with some distinctive bright twist? Instead of pulling a lot of extremely hackneyed moments from everywhere, making a "snowball" out of them and serving them as an "original dish". That's probably why most of the actors played like that, because it wasn't interesting to play, they worked off the fee.
As for Priluchny. I watched "Grapes" in the fall, and it seems that he never got out of that role, and "New Year's Chef" is a festive finale for the series. Although he probably always plays like this, I'm not a big fan of his filmography.
And by the way, I wanted to find information about him and I couldn't find it anywhere)
