You can watch the movie once, it's bright and very colorful. I liked the end that Marie sailed away with Yves to meet adventures. 🥰

I would say that it is even for children, but it is also suitable for adults, because the themes of friendship, self-belief, faith in others and of course the theme of love are well revealed in it! ❤

The idea is interesting, but it is presented like a children's fairy tale film, very simple and naive, the plot lines are uncomplicated and predictable from the first frames. The costumes do not correspond to the era at all, which makes the film even more dissonant.

Although the book is not a masterpiece, it is much better. Still, the author somehow tried to convey the French court of Louis 14, in some places very well. I have nothing against rewriting the plot of the book for a movie, but some kind of logic must be preserved at the same time.

They tried to do something like Pirates of the Caribbean (even the image of Benjamin Walker is some kind of cross between Jack Sparrow and Will Turner), but it turned out to be something of the level of the Siren series only for children.
