Description
Viktor Navorski is a man without a country; his plane took off just as a coup d'etat exploded in his homeland, leaving it in shambles, and now he's stranded at Kennedy Airport, where he's holding a passport that nobody recognizes. While quarantined in the transit lounge until authorities can figure out what to do with him, Viktor simply goes on living – and courts romance with a beautiful flight attendant.
Прекрасная, добрая история)
- What, maybe he was lying😂😂
- Who is asking you these questions
- Your secret dumpster 😂🤣
-Who, my garbage man🤣
- Do you want to X-ray him?
-Come on🤣😂
- What is he doing?
- I can't ask what he's doing. I have to tell him what to do. If I ask, I'll look like an idiot.🫶
Oh, my God, at the time when he gave the ring instead of a friend, I just cried. It was beautiful then we drove through the terminal in a Just Married car 🥹😍
Oh my God, I love watching this movie. And once again proves that you need to remain a person first of all, kind, honest, decent, hardworking. I especially liked that he started communicating with people who worked there and they were compassionate to him, just like him. And the scene at the end, where the police blocked his path, and then gave him his raincoat, since it's snowing there, a scene that deserves great praise. Imagine living in a terminal for 9 months, I know that the story is fictional, but a person can adapt to everything, and learn a language, and make new acquaintances, and bring a couple together. The most gorgeous movie, I cried right at the end!Kindness and love will save the world!
1️⃣The plot is based on the real story that happened in 1988 with the Iranian refugee Mehran Karimi Nasseri, who was forced to live for 18 years (until 2006) at the Paris airport because all his documents were stolen.
2.A woman lived at Milan airport for more than 6 years, who could not get home to Mauritius due to bureaucratic obstacles.
3.A German engineer lived at Mallorca airport for 4 years, who settled at the airport after he ran out of money. The German was forced to leave the house by his wife's infidelity.
4️⃣Japanese blogger Masaaki Tanaka was unable to leave the airport terminal for a month due to an expired visa. In addition, Tanaka did not have the money to pay the departure fee from Taipei or at least buy food for himself (the tourist spent a month at the airport on wasabi and soy sauce).
5 .In 2018, Briton Stephen Beard spent two weeks at Pulkovo Airport due to an expired residence permit.
6.Roman Trofimov, a resident of Jyhvi (Estonia), flew to the Philippines on March 20, 2020 and got stuck at Manila airport, as the country was quarantined due to coronavirus. He could not return to his homeland, because the airline AirAsia, which he flew to, took away his passport as a non-citizen and stopped flights. Roman lived at Manila Airport for 109 days.
