Overview
Siblings Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter step through a magical wardrobe and find the land of Narnia. There, they discover a charming, once peaceful kingdom that has been plunged into eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Aided by the wise and magnificent lion, Aslan, the children lead Narnia into a spectacular, climactic battle to be free of the Witch's glacial powers forever.

I was worried about Oslan. 😳
And then I switched to Glantz's voice acting and everything became gorgeous! Immediately, Susan stopped annoying.
The film is clearly childish, there is not enough entertainment, especially the final battle.
I don't know, is the ending before the credits based on the book or just the movie? - many, many years have passed in their new status, and for some reason they climbed into the closet again, and then even more incredible...
Some compare the Chronicles of Narnia to the Lord of the Rings. This is clearly not about movies, but about Books!
And of course Tilda is beautiful as always 🥰
A children's fairy tale for everyone.
I will be like an old grandmother, but "now such stories are not removed""
Now I'm thinking - what would it be like to live life in Narnia, grow up, and then return to the human world as the same children? It's probably terribly unpleasant, and it will drag you back...
It is very unusual, at least to begin with, to see the trope of "popadants", which is so well played. In general, I really dislike this development of events because it is always done very clumsily, but Narnia works with its main characters very organically.
In this movie, a lot could go wrong and could start to look ridiculous. But even talking animals are perceived as the norm here. Understanding magic and the boundaries of the world comes quickly enough. The necessary gloom and seriousness are more than sustained.
A special bow to Tilda Swinton. She turned out to be just the perfect Jadis, with the right level of sadism. In general, the actress is very good at making villains who, for the time being, should seem "kind."
The film, in my opinion, has passed the test of time. The CGI was just perfectly preserved, the acting of all the actors was good, and even if there are some cheesy moments, I don't think they make it much worse.
I like to watch it in autumn and winter with a cup of hot drink.
