A great movie and actors

The film was very reminiscent of the 2024 film "Father, Mother, Sister, Brother" on Vibe, but the dynamics are more interesting.

I really liked the role of Meryl Streep from all the 3-4 films that I watched with her. In general, the cast was surprised, very good.

The dynamics are interesting because an ordinary family conversation can turn into a heated argument from scratch (something familiar). And the character development is very interesting, I immediately realized that Steve was a pedophile, and it was not surprising that he began to molest Karen (?). The emotional swings in Violet's behavior are very well shown, very well played!

The moment in the finale with Violet and Joana turned out to be very touching. That's how she was left alone again.
But if you compare the stories of the parents' childhood, then it is not surprising.

To some extent, the film allows you to think about your parents, your upbringing, and I would even say that it teaches you to be more patient with your parents and their possible mistakes. Personally, it wasn't even the secrets themselves that interested me, which were revealed as I watched, but the relationship between the characters themselves, and especially the "sister-sister" and "mother-daughter" lines. In my opinion, the most painful lines of relationships in cinema at the moment.

Definitely, 10/10

It's a very good movie. I thought 2 hours was a lot, but in the end I even reviewed some points. There are few films that you can't break away from, but the plot also makes sudden moves. My assessment is "so good that it's already bad."
