Description
John Constantine has literally been to Hell and back. When he teams up with a policewoman to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles.
Lucifer: Oh, sure, go ahead! I am a shareholder...
The whole movie can be torn into quotes, but I will do without my favorites so as not to spoiler
An interesting fact that I didn't know about is that the film was made based on DC comics.
I won't talk about the main actors, the film is already old (almost 20 years....), everyone has achieved their success. I will note the Padre's game, his unnaturally shifty eyes excited me... You can't look at Tilda without charm, And Peter Stormare in the role of Lucifer drove you crazy. Either with charisma, or with one dubbing voice, I reminded Hannibal (Hopkins).
Years go by, and the film remains in the top of my favorites.
I think it's this role that Keanu has won me over and I've adored him ever since. He's almost 60 now, and he can still fall in love with thousands of people.
Just an amazing movie and cast.
I can definitely say that all the actors are 100% laid out and there is a great film that does not get old.
I'll probably review it in a few days to refresh my ancient delight))
The film was shot pretty well, it looks good even now (except for the effects where someone gets out of their skin).
But the movie is stupidly boring, the first hour doesn't really happen at all. GG is not John Constantine at all. Instead of a cunning, cynical occultist, we have Neo. Almost the same image, exactly the same emotions.
But Lucifer, yes, Lucifer is good. He's stealing all the attention.
