Overview
One dark winter evening, the young tsar Saltan was lucky enough to find himself a tsarina from a simple Russian family. He was so impressed by the speech of the young charmer that he married her the same evening, and took her two sisters with him to the palace as servants. However, the treacherous girls do not share the happiness of their luckier sister and begin to plot. Saltan leaves for a long military campaign, during which the young queen gives birth to his son. The evil sisters write a dispatch to the tsar, where they brazenly lie about the child: they say, the queen gave birth to someone unknown, "neither a son nor a daughter." Saltan is upset, but orders to wait until his return. The sisters substitute the letter, and as a result, the girl and her son are sealed in a wooden barrel and thrown into the ocean in the best sadistic traditions.

So, I watched the movie. Basically, the expected emotions, let's go point by point.
** Acting.**
Guidon made the most of this role, although he stumbled over this stupid text, but his energy and expression evoked positive emotions, and this is the main thing. I hope that I will see the actor in other film works.
Tsar Soltan aka Priluchny put too much pressure on the testesterone male and, in my opinion, an unfortunate decision (although Priluchny is not recognizable in makeup), because Soltan is a driven fool after all, who is manipulated by the deffki throughout the tale
The queen aka Sarik's wife. I didn't play at all, the whole movie is the blissful face of Botex full face, and literally every close-up of her face made me angry. This is a children's movie, for God's sake, EXPRESSION is important here! Disgusting and incompetent.
Matchmaker baba babarikha / weaver / cook, well done, especially the first one, very textured actresses and played juicy, I liked it.
The rest of the supporting actors are okay in general, there will be a separate block about the swan princess.
The plot
In general, the canon is relative to a fairy tale with minor additions, such as the fact that the sisters were given names, and in our case the queen is the grandmother's stepdaughter, as in Cinderella. It's also funny that the cook and the weaver were taken to the palace to woo the tsar's assistant, Ivan, but he asked the whole film to postpone this issue. I think it's idiotic to rework most of the text of a fairy tale and mix it with ordinary speech, because the actors stumble while the lines are being read out, and you stumble while listening to it. The shit is shorter.
Graphics
Basically, it's a hack job, it's a disgrace to do this in the year 26. The squirrel and Uncle Chernomor are best made, from the swan I wanted to stick a mixer in my eyes and scroll, as well as from the simulation of water))
The Swan Princess
Well, it's fucked up, the model is terrible, I already wrote above. For most of the film, while she is in the form of a swan, she is voiced by an actress (familiar to many from the voiceover from the gasket commercial), and then she transforms into Alice the Cat and says in a completely different voice: What's wrong?
The transformation scene itself is poorly done, apparently, Sarik didn't fucking understand that this is the most important scene, the catharsis of the work, and it was shot as casually as the previous miracles, well, what the fuck, I don't have the strength...
I can't say anything about Alice the Cat, because she has three lines for the movie, but the dress and she are beautiful.
In general, the film lacks emotional swings, "the sea will swell violently, boil, howl ..." — forget it, we have all the scenes in clear weather for different versions of "fly away on the wings of heaven", and by the way, the scene with the transformation of the princess had to be shot at NIGHT, although if they have in white light such Graphics problems, it's really scary to imagine what would happen if there were night lighting.
Dancing at the end to Bilan's song "I know exactly the impossible, it's possible" is also out of the question, but OK, I'll consider it a homage to Shrek
In my opinion, nothing was shot better than a cartoon from Soyuzmultfilm based on this work, and this work is more disappointing than pleasing, the beauty of most of the moments is lost and erased for some refined and stupid childishness. It's as if modern children are considered idiots.
6.5/10, just for Guidon, bro tried very hard to cheer me up
In general, I do not agree with the computer above that the princess played poorly. As for me, she conveyed emotions well with her eyes.
And the narration itself is quite normal 👀 for a fairy tale 🥺❤
In principle, it's not bad,
A purely fictionalized fairy tale :'3
It was a little white in the cinema, as if the screen was giving off a little bit, but otherwise fine ✨
I do not regret that we went, and I am glad that they did not try to make a comedy out of this fairy tale, like many others.
2. The picture is beautiful. Forests, cities, costumes (what beautiful costumes, they can make gold pens!!!).
I won't say the same about computer graphics: the swan is not very good, the sea is not natural, I would like to see a squirrel cute, and not like the work of a taxidermist. The insects turned out to be very cute. But here, objectively, Prostokvashino was also scolded for the same thing. 2026, our graphics are being shot at the 2000s level. Now they make such wonderful characters in movies (the lion king, how to train your dragon), but we have something out of proportion that vaguely resembles a stuffed animal. It does not cause emotion. Then it's better to keep shooting real animals.
3. They still haven't answered the question of who Ivan (the Tsar's assistant) chose. We were sitting before the credits (and even a little after), there was no scene.
4. I was very confused by the moment about "she dreams of a prince." What prince?! The tsar/tsarevich? We didn't have any princes.
According to the plot: everything is not bad, there is practically no deviation from the original. The film is delayed by the actors themselves, the characters should have been a little more lively, otherwise the children could barely sit in the hall, it was frankly boring.
