Overview
Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.

5/5⭐️
The hard mess at the end kind of closes the story for the main character Grace, but if you want, you can shoot another sequel with or without Samara Weaving. The film's budget is only $ 14 million, so it should pay for itself in full at the global box office. There are all prerequisites for making a Scream-type franchise with multiple parts. I hope so, I really like this series against the background of a decent number of passing horror films.
. The sisters' tandem was organic.
the idea of a wedding was cool, although it was predictable that Grace would not stay with this idiot
, but the spectacle of the murders was quite good!!
Wood's character is ambiguous, if they shoot the third part, then I hope they will return
him and tell more about him. It
seems that he is connected with the 'devil' more than we were shown
, but I was glad that Grace and Faith survived and killed everyone
, so either the devil wanted to kill everyone here, or in the following parts Elijah Wood can become the same partner of the girls (if he doesn't like this whole idea of worship), help them somehow, or maybe he himself is Le Bail
and will play the role of some kind of trickster to ingratiate himself, and then...
Grace will already become a bride for the third time, but the most A devil that must be defeated
If you're looking for something similar, watch the TV series "I have a very bad feeling", I'm sure it should come.
Perhaps the sister's performance by Katherine Newton was at an average level, surrounded by quite iconic actors of the past. Samara Weaving herself played at a high level. She should try to play in something stronger in the plot plan.
The movie is for 1 viewing, but it has the right to exist. I didn't regret the 100 minutes I spent
It was a little boring to watch the sisters sort out their relationship, the story of "you left me" seemed a little strained and out of place.
Fewer jokes than in the first part.
Otherwise, I liked everything.
The only question was, if everyone blew up in the end, why didn't Grace explode too, she's already a member of their family.
It was shot vividly, there are plenty of spectacular bloody scenes and dynamics, too, so the film definitely won't let you get bored. well, the story itself was revealed more, and by the way, the characters too.
Gellar and Wood fit in perfectly here. Well, it's always nice to look at Weaving's face.😌
Sarah Michelle Gellar is a horror icon, and her presence has been a real gift to the genre. It can be difficult for sequels to expand the cinematic universe while maintaining the emotional weight of the characters, but I think the directors did a great job.
And, of course, Elijah Wood is back in the movie about the Ring of Omnipotence. Lol.
Oh my god What kind of icon and horror is Gellar?
Buffy, I know what you did last summer, Scream 2, Curse 1,2 — isn't that enough?)
Icons are Jamie Lee Curtis, Adrienne Barbeau, Sigourney Weaver, for example.
It's awkward, but it looks easy.
The first part was a self-contained story with clear logic, a beautiful character arc, and an ideal ending point.
But no, the money was found, the screenwriter was urgently given to finish writing part 2. The result: a plot literally sucked out of a finger. The motivations of the characters are far-fetched, the conflict is far-fetched!
This is an absolutely passing film. You can watch it in the background, you can forget it after an hour, but the aftertaste remains unpleasant: Why spoil the impression of the finished story?
The appearance of a sister at first seems like a controversial move, but in the end it does not interfere with the story and does not overshadow the main character.
Interestingly, it's as if, with Grace's help, Satan himself has implemented a plan to destroy his entire flock. It even seemed to me that at times I helped her as if haha
In short, I liked it
I'm more interested in why it was said at the beginning that you can't refuse (when the head dies and you replace him), but when the Hindu's wife left and refused to play, their family didn't explode either 🤔
There was also a phrase that he had been training the twins since childhood, for him the status of head was more important than life itself and partly even the lives of children.
There's also a theory going around the redit (I couldn't find a video, so let's have a theory) That Faith finds the car where Martine blew up in the post-credits scene.
If you don't understand how the rules and contracts work, alas, I won't help you here.
, I liked the first part more
Hatoshi is so good in this role, it was "According to the laws of the wolf")
I give the sequel 4.5 out of 5
, there was even more blood, and the most recent plotter made me watch the remaining 10 minutes with my mouth open. 👏🏼👏🏼
Well, I liked the story. Yes, there was a lot of horror for this heroine. But what a strong spirit she is)
I liked the ending)
By the way, Elijah Wood in this movie reminded me of the movie Sin City, I don't know why.😄I remember that he was filming there too. I even wanted to review that movie)
I've been thinking about one of the twins for a long time, wondering where I saw her. And this is Buffy, please
In general, the movie is great)
I hope for part 3. The cast is amazing 🥹
Of course, it was predictable that she would propose a wedding to him, because this information was not thrown in for nothing and it is clear that she would kill him to leave everyone with nothing. Well, I was definitely waiting for the title between my brother and sister🔥))
And the worst part is their dialogues in dangerous moments. They're really trying to kill them, and they're starting to pick fights and sort things out. It's not tension, it's nonsense. In a normal movie, such scenes add emotion, but here, on the contrary, they completely knock out what is happening.
Drama is generally a problem. It's clear that the creators were trying to do something "deep": conflicts, emotions, conversations... but everything sounds empty. There is no normal acting, no feeling that you believe the characters. As a result, these scenes look like a parody of a drama.
And it turns out to be a strange mess:
the film seems to want to be a horror, a black comedy, and a drama, but it doesn't work well in any of these directions.
Bottom line:
the characters are annoying, the dialogues break the atmosphere, and the drama just doesn't work.
You look and you catch yourself thinking, no one cares if they survive or not.
And I'll study some more. They're shooting at you with a sniper rifle, but you're stupidly running through a postcard when you have a green light on your side. A shot from a grenade launcher could have simply burned the heroine of Samara Weaving with powder gases when fired the other way around. And in the end, everyone rushes after the ring, as if there were not a pile of bones and horns, but thick mattresses laid out.
I fell in love for the second time after "Pitt Hospital"
It was a great movie, I had fun.
I liked the first part a little more,
But for the sake of the handsome Hatosy, and the sheriff from the Bates Motel, I decided to include this one)
Otherwise, the picture gives you what you expect from it and even a little more (have I ever seen David Cronenberg as an actor, hmm?). Of course, there are not many differences from the original, and if you look at both parts one after the other, it will be noticeable, but nevertheless. Now the drivers are divided into family contracts and compete with other clans for the title of king of the mountain (in fact, the bloody version of the "Heirs") and replace each other in view of funny, bloody and funny-bloody (i.e. hilarious in every sense) circumstances. There are no top movie stars among the actors, but very decent television celebrities have been recruited. Kevin Durand and Nestor Carbonell rocked back at The Lost, and Sarah Michelle Gellar is generally nice to see, especially when she uses Buffy's arsenal again. Plus, the latter has an interesting storyline with her brother (Sean Hatosy from Pitt Hospital and, by the way, the Faculty, where he was with Wood!), which mirrors the relationship of the main characters with the opposite sign. Black humor is well balanced with tense moments. Well, and - I won't dissemble - the film managed a couple of times, if not to dumbfound by radically changing the formula, then to pleasantly surprise by slightly supplementing it. This applies to the behavior of some of the waters, and to the last act of the painting. Even with Satan, contracts can be quite ambiguous, yes.
I got my share of pleasure from watching it. Everything is fervent, funny, and bloody. To see where the plot turns, it's obvious that the epic conclusion of the trilogy! - it's also interesting. Well, it's satire again. A prologue with news reports about a large-scale military conflict and a subsequent call with a short phrase in the style of: "Stop the bullshit!" made me laugh a lot. You can safely watch if you like this kind of movies - here Gillette and Bettinelli-Olpin do not cheat on themselves, though they do not jump over their heads. We are waiting for innovations in the triquel, but in the meantime, sorry for the banality - a strong film for one time. Well, Elijah Wood is great.
RATING: 4.5 black widows out of 5
A magnificent, worthy sequel
