I watched this part with great apprehension after such a previous part. I liked this part more. She's a little more cheerful. The dancing scene to Iron Maiden is epic. Maybe this part should have been called "how to train an Alpha zombie"?)
It was nice to see Jim at the end, at least he's alive.

I didn't really expect anything, but the sequel came out +- worthy. somehow even bigger and more serious. We've almost returned to our roots and you can feel the same atmosphere.

the film is not particularly scary, more disturbing and depressing. chaos, survival, excessive brutality, and virtually no humanity within this post-up. after all, not zombies, of which there are very few, but people are even more scary and dangerous in many ways..
Some of the scenes of this very cruelty towards people are just a nightmare😬

but sometimes everything changed and went into some kind of black comedy, apparently to dilute it all.

perhaps many will be disappointed. After all, the film changes the perspective from the zombies themselves to a more thoughtful and philosophical concept of humanity. and there's no special dynamics here, it's more like a dramatic thriller or something.

In terms of visual and acting, everything is quite good too. Fiennes is good. Well, Murphy's cameo certainly pleased me.

and the most striking final scene under Iron Maiden, of course. 🔥

I didn't like the previous movie, but this one went well. A kind of Clockwork orange in a zombie apocalypse, where the zombies themselves are in the background. It's not a bad horror movie in general, which is rare now.

I really liked the movie, more than the first part. A kind of medical-religious deconstruction of a zombie movie. Not without problems, something was missing somewhere, but in total I liked it much higher than the last part. The only question is whether they have enough money to complete the story, given the disaster.

The big advantage of this part compared to the previous one is that it no longer has to pretend to be something normal and adequate. And they bought me with Duran Duran music (And the scene under Iron Maiden just killed me)
But in general, I don't see much point in this franchise based on old films. Murphy's return is a bit interesting, but I won't be upset if there's no sequel.

A continuation of Fiennes' gorgeous performance from the previous part. He was the most striking character there, and he met the same standard here. It's a pity Dr. Pal died, but at least we learned more about psychosis. I understand why many people might not like this view of the franchise, but I personally like it very much.

One of the few cases where the sequel is better than the first part. I liked both of them, but "Temple of Bones"... Oh)
In general, both films are very different in their vibe from 28 days and months. But they also differ from each other. If the first part introduces us more to the world, the Britain that survived the virus, and more about everyday life and zombies, then this part is more about the cruelty of people, that monsters are not only zombies, but also people. It plays both ways: humans are enemies to humans (Jimmy and his fingers), but humans are also enemies to zombies, because this is the first time we've seen them see us. Monsters. Or maybe it's true and we really are monsters?...

Okay. Philosophy aside.

I can't help but mention the caste. Ralph Fiennes was amazing! It would be unfortunate if he wasn't rewarded in any way, even for dancing!
And Jimmy's team? Well, what a charisma! Jack O'Connell is my second discovery of 2026) A pure psychopath! I watched it at the cinema, but now I'm waiting online to hear the original. I think it will be amazing!

In general, the verdict is as follows:
Clearly? Clearly!

For the first half, I was a little unsure if such a sequel was even necessary for such a film, but after the second half, I can say one hundred percent yes. The bravest and best thing you can watch with zombies now, if you're tired of the usual "humans are much worse than the dead" (although that's also there). It's time to talk about death, birth, religion, trauma, and the moon.

Alex Garland once again proves that he is a talented screenwriter. In 2 minutes of screen time with Cillian Murphy and his daughter, it is already clear what their relationship is, and I want to see what happens next with them and Spike and Kelly. Cliffhanger doesn't even annoy, although it hurts that you have to wait more than a year for the sequel. and maybe forever

It's also funny how the English "Howzat!", which is one of the phrases of the British TV star Jimmy Savile, on whose image the character of Jack O'Connell built his appearance, was translated as "clearly". I don't mind, it sounds awesome, especially when Kelly says it for the last time.

Yes, I personally liked "Temple of Bones" more than the previous film. Conceptually, it turned out to be a kind of mixture of the aforementioned "Clockwork Orange" and "The Warmth of our bodies". The author's vision of his creation has clearly changed a lot over the years, but let's see what happens in the finale of the trilogy. Especially with Killian Murphy))).

It's not surprising that the film failed miserably at the box office. The first three parts can be watched calmly without knowing the others, and this one is, consider it, the epilogue to the previous one and the prologue to the future, which is now not the fact that it will be removed, which is why it is completely impenetrable to mimicry.

Well, you can't say that there was any need for it. Surprisingly little happens in the film. It didn't work out to surprise a giant Hindu with a bare penis for the second time, and the gopnik cult turned out to be too vanilla.

This dilogy is a real revolution in the world of zombie horror.
Wangyu: Dr. Kelson will become a canonical person, how good is his performance under Iron Maiden! The music in the film is a separate character, could there be anything more British in British cinema than a Radiohead track and ironic references to a Clockwork Orange?
It was bold, unorthodox, and contrary to everything the viewer expects, including another post-up.
It seems that the film industry is coming to its senses after a long-term coma of a continuous crisis of ideas.

Imho, the viewing experience is the same as from the last part, it's a direct sequel, and even less dynamic, and it's a bit surprising how many people here write that they liked this part more. I just want to say, "I told you so."
As I wrote for the previous film, if it doesn't get worse, it's already good, as it actually turned out. 😁
John Murphy's OST at the end is honey for the ears, finally 🎧 And anyway, Cliffhanger turned out to be quite strong, Cillian Murphy's character returned 🔥 Solid 4/5
Anyway, I hope that part 3 will come out.

"28 years Later" and "Temple of Bones" were shot literally one after the other, but a completely different team worked on the second part. Danny Boyle directed "28 Days Later" and "28 Years Later," and Nia DaCosta directed "Temple of Bones."

I actually liked both parts, but this one got me more hooked. It's just a pity that Kelson died. But it's not clear about Jimmy Crystal. The ending was left open, and perhaps he survived. We were only briefly shown the figure of Samson. But since he came to his senses a little, it's not a fact that he killed him. Maybe I just took him off and let him go, and in the third part we'll see him return. Will he find new kids for himself or rethink?
It is also interesting what happened to the girl who was born to an infected pregnant woman in the last part. Will Samson look for her?

So far, the mission has failed. "Temple of Bones" spent 63 million, and the box office totaled 59 million. It was reported that Netflix offered Sony to buy the rights to the triquel in order to release it on streaming, but Danny Boyle was against it.

To be honest, I didn't like it at all. Lengthy dialogues about nothing. It's not really clear what the underlying idea is. Humans have gone berserk, beastmen have become humanized. Like humanity has entered a second round. On the other hand, there was also the expectation of the acidic first part. It's not a zombie horror, but a theatrical production. Where zombies actually serve as a backdrop. They are often beautiful, whether they are dirty ashen white or fast and angry. And with a knee-deep dick. As far as I'm concerned, the situation has repeated itself, like with Joker 2. It's just that authorial and pretentious cinema doesn't really fit in with tough and uncompromising survival. Food supplies are scarce. Every person counts. Now you have a successful farm, which means there is a high chance of crop failure. You have unsanitary conditions and a complete lack of medicine. If you stir up a pseudo-religious cult, it's only to assemble a gang and regularly rob those who are weaker. The healing point is also a cannon race. As far as I understand, the rage virus has been known for a long time and it turns out that it is enough to remove psychosis for treatment. Yeah, it's a kick-ass. Where did Samson get this mountain of muscle from? Why hasn't he died from so many wounds yet. It seems to have been made clear to us that these are the same people, but with increased rage. How do wounds heal in shit and dirt and bacteria don't kill zombies? Diseases don't take them either? And hypothermia? But what about drinking from the stream and eating raw meat? Yes, they would have been sucked out by parasites of all stripes. There are cool performances here. But what are they for? The words about science sound even more alien here against such a crazy background. Here we have Teletubbies, clearly, and seeing stars under morphine. And then there's a set of substances that will get you back on your feet. It will bring back consciousness. How inappropriate all this buffoonery looks in the zombie horror genre. Burn the corpse of this series already and add the skull to the temple. And then it will be more useful

If you put aside the reflections and logic of what is happening with the infected, then in general this part turned out to be quite good. The plot took us linearly further, unlike the previous parts, when it seemed that there was nothing in common. The cast is coping, and the two stories from the Doctor and Spike seemed boring. Yes, the amazing "healing" is essentially sucked out of the finger, but this is at least some kind of development in relation to the zombie plague, and not the usual "Well, there is, there is, there is something going on in the background, we will not study them, not heal them... here's the scenery and the way the characters are killed," although the presentation is not new, it is not hackneyed.
Plus, I'll add that the ending still looped this part from the first.
It's worth a look, but for the purity... the infected would have died of cold and infection long ago, but I don't care, the Doctor's production was excellent, the talent is theatrical.
