If someone was expecting horrors, they're not here. It's still more of a drama..
Of course, there are zombies themselves, but there are too few and just "to be."
It's just some kind of sluggish story about going back and forth.
Ridley may not be that bad, but the movie itself is depressing.
Zombies have long ceased to be the main feature and gradually moved into the category of decorations. Here they are exactly like that — people go about their business, go back and forth, suffer from all sorts of problems and unfinished business. And in the background, zombies (or fuck who) roam. They try to make a piece a couple of times, but they don't do it well. In short, it's going to be a bit boring for all zombie fans. For fans of serious thoughtful films, what, zombies? Why are they here? But if you like both, maybe it will.

It seems like all the commentators just wanted another zombie movie, and they didn't get tired of it!)
I really liked the movie, it was deep, with good music, location, and, God forgive me, with a plot and feelings!
Thank God, not just another walker, be afraid of walkers and so on! How long has it been possible to do the same thing in a circle🙄

I personally liked the movie. I am a fan of zombies and walkers, and here I saw a desire to bring something new to an already seemingly hackneyed genre. I didn't notice the hundreds of millions of the budget, but I enjoyed the actors' acting, the idea, and the views of the not-so-popular continent.
It started well, ended well... Well, it's good that it's over

At first, they were intrigued, and then it turned out something like "28 years later", only even weaker. And zombies are less "interesting" here.

And the film has been in the global box office since 2025, not counting the festival premiere even earlier. Not 2026.
