Description
Captured by smugglers when he was just a hatchling, a macaw named Blu never learned to fly and lives a happily domesticated life in Minnesota with his human friend, Linda. Blu is thought to be the last of his kind, but when word comes that Jewel, a lone female, lives in Rio de Janeiro, Blu and Linda go to meet her. Animal smugglers kidnap Blu and Jewel, but the pair soon escape and begin a perilous adventure back to freedom -- and Linda.
the cartoon has its flaws, but the atmosphere created by the characters, the plot and the songs draw out emotions, after which it is already all the same to these holes. after watching the wild desire to go to Rio de Janeiro for the carnival)
it's not a sin to reconsider.

"I feel sorry for the bird" - here you will not need this winged (ha!) phrase. The expected happy ending at the end, everyone stayed alive and well. Moreover, the ending turned out to be crumpled, almost stupidly in pictures. There just wasn't enough room for a hike.
In general, this cartoon will kill everything in black and white in you. The brightness, the gaudiness - as if the rainbow was sick of skittles. But it doesn't bother, it's just that this flower garden is difficult to ignore. Almost all the main characters are birds, but there is one paradox that broke my brain. The main character is a parrot, but his name is Golubchik. Okay, stop. Gentlemen, will you figure it out - is he a parrot or a pigeon?
I also want to mention the antagonist. Nigel the cockatoo is very charismatic, immediately remembered against the background of fairly standard birds. It could have been made even angrier, but it's still a children's cartoon.
Well, now I'll sum it up. It is better to watch this picture when you are in a good mood. If you are sad, postpone the viewing until better times, because everything is loud, bright, carnival-dancing. In a bad mood, it will only irritate. But it's worth a look, especially if you're a high-flying bird. (fut-ha!)
