but boring.
monotonous, pretentious, formulaic, predictable.
for 15-year-old boys in the 90s, it would have been very interesting on video, but anyway...
the film was 30-35 years late.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@w1semc: Here, buddy, don't thank me.
Don't answer me anymore. I've spent too much time talking to you. A waste of time. In addition to the spoiler.
If something clever comes to mind, let me know and we'll discuss it. Maybe I can help you with something other than learning how to write with shading.
@dannymeehan: uncle, GG and the black deputy will survive, the aliens have a problem with ventilation
And the general practice of comments is that I very rarely see this community actively spoiling in the comments.
Therefore, the position of those who spoilerize is unclear to me.
This is a common space, and no one claims that it is only for those who have watched the film. Otherwise, they could only let you in here after you click on the "Viewed" button.
Otherwise, there is simply zero logic here. So thanks, but I'll stick to my opinion. Respect other people
Your comments literally open after clicking the "viewed" button. Or you need to purposefully click the "show comments" button above which it says that they may contain spoilers) I applied the screenshot above)
It's very strange that you couldn't read the spoiler alert, but you did read the spoiler yourself.)
Once again, for you, the gifted one. There is no spoiler bar. I did not click the "viewed" button.
There is no information or rules that only those who have watched the film can be in the comments. Keep the rest of the chatter to yourself.
And go to the next movies with your dumb-ass comments in the spirit of "almost everyone died."
Wildly informative, incompetent, and not interesting to anyone but you.
It would be fine if I wrote something adequate, otherwise I wrote some kind of crap, also with a spoiler, and now the poor guy is exhausted from the fact that they made a remark to him.
Keep it simple and think with your own head , I'm writing to you for the second time.
The only thing I understood from the correspondence with you is that you don't give a shit about others, and as you left spoilers, you will continue. And as part of incompetently primitive comments.
I'll see you in the comments for other films.
I mean, go to Game of Thrones, the last of us, or fallout, where literally EVERY comment discusses the event of the series.
You're spoiling yourself, and then you're swearing. Don't do that
@dannymeehan: You're a fucked up fucker offended by life, I'm fucked.. I'll go outside, get some fresh air..
I understand that you feel very protected behind your smartphone screen, but when you celebrate your 18th birthday, you can earn a lot for it.
Communicate with everyone respectfully, at least - and without insults.
What's the point? Let's go into every movie and leave this? I understand the longrid and there will definitely be spoilers. But to do this kind of shit is to be unique...
and here you are also defending it as if you are spreading spoilers right and left.
At least someone would think with their head before agreeing. The Heretics)
That's it, exhale and rest. I don't see any benefit in your words.
I go to check people's reactions and reviews, not a retelling of the plot.
When you don't think with your own head, it doesn't work out well. Think your own way.
My motivation is quite simple. If he's retelling the plot or spoiling it, then don't be too lazy to write a normal review, and not throw up on 2 lines like "everyone's dead, the movie is shit."
It's just a shame.
You can just think for a second and ask yourself - who are you going to bleat well with this comment? Have you done anyone any good by insulting me? Do you know me personally? Are you saying that to people's faces on the street because their opinions differ from yours? I'm sure not.
Imho, you don't have to be a brute for the pluses.
Patrick Hughes: Not another word!
--- The movie was shot---
Netflix: Can I add some military-patriotic pathos? There's already a lot of it, yes, you're doing great, but you need to be right at your maximum. Well, look how the Russians have been filming for the last couple of years. So we need even more!
Patrick Hughes: He's been finishing the last 10 minutes.
Oh, I liked everything.
Alan Ritchson's charisma and gloomy face carried the entire film on his broad shoulders.
You can't take away the actor's ideality for playing in action-thrillers.
It was dynamic, tough, bloody, well, that's how we love it when blood-guts-ras..lo.
The clichés of the imperfect hero did not escape, injuries and PTSD too, but the character of 81 is built on this.
"I was awarded a medal for the worst day of my life, I'm not a hero and I didn't bring anyone anywhere, I woke up in the hospital, and he was already lying in a coffin"
In the first shots, Courtney and Alan's faces barely fit into the screen, such wide, humorous beards.
They even sprinkled a little humor on top, and I also liked the color scheme.
So curtsy to Patrick Hughes from me, thanks for the great action for the evening.
"We" (tm) had chefs like that! ;-)
There is a feeling that the promt was thrown into a joke: write a series of Attacks of the Titans, only about the American military. Because according to the trailer, it was expected that they would work together as a team there, make traps for the robot and heroically win, but instead the blood was infected with aids, and the main character has constant PTSD. Imho, if that's the case, then we should have at least made some kind of fast-moving alien crab like a predator or giant insects, like in Starship Troopers, otherwise this robot is neither original, memorable, nor frightening.
Also, according to the results, there is a very strong feeling that if they had abandoned 7 at the very beginning, then at least ten more people would have survived, and not one Reacher. Plus, 15 died for nothing at all - he brought cartridges, which didn't do anything to the robot anyway... And they seemed to purposefully get rid of the most memorable characters as early as possible throughout the film.
How did the assault vehicle end up on the Ground? If this is intelligence, then why are there idiots inside?
They carried him all the time, and he didn't die like the others.
Yes, the above examples have already been given about the similarity of the film with the same "predator" or "sea battle", and here.
You definitely shouldn't expect anything high from this movie. It's just fast-paced meat and action. with a minimum of plot and a lot of spectacular and spectacular scenes.
Ritchson is good. It's right in its place and fits in well here.
it seems to me that a soldier with such a broken mentality and with Afghan flashbacks is very dangerous in the ranks🤷♂️ in my opinion, people with PTSD are not accepted into the army 🤷♂️
shot of course perfectly. and Reacher, as usual, is a military hero)))
and the ending is a hint of the 2nd part?
In general, it's okay to have fun as a movie.
6 Reachers out of 10
What about the characters? The Netflix studio did not bother with them, but with PTSD, it is trying to fulfill the last will of its brother. Only numbers 7 and 15 were remembered from the squad, but they were not revealed, they were added to the film only to reveal gg and his trauma and experiences.
Bottom line, after a hard day's work, the movie is the best, it doesn't make you think, but just plays the role of chewing gum for the brain.
Where I ran for an APC for half an hour nonsense.
In general, the film was clearly shot by order of the Ministry of Defense -it's a propaganda campaign about tough warriors, like ours, only more expensive and beautiful.
Some of the corpses were even somewhat surprised by their naturalness, as much as flashbacks came from Telegram's doomscrolling in February-March 2022.
If the first film is based on the leicales of the first Predator, then I will expect a mix of the Battle for Los Angeles and Crysis 2 from the sequel. I hope that next time people won't feel sorry for them either.
The film is not bad for the evening and, as mentioned above, it was very reminiscent of "Sea Battle"
They wrote about a predator here. There was no emotional connection in the predator.
Great movie - just great!
The plot here is exactly one and a half lines long, purely to somehow justify the endless shooting and explosions. It all comes down to the banal formula of "action for the sake of action." The characters are cardboard, formulaic and pretentious, there is no one to empathize with stupidly.
But what really pisses me off is the creators' attempts to make things serious out of thin air. Between the cheerful (and meaningless) post-jokes, the characters suddenly begin to make such pretentious speeches about duty, honor, and saving the world with serious faces that their cheekbones are cramping. Guys, you're shooting a walk-through action movie, relax and give it a normal dynamic, why all this Shakespearean drama?
It's worth watching it exclusively in a state of "there's nothing to turn on at all, and the background for eating pizza is urgently needed." But even with such low expectations, you're likely to be far from thrilled. An absolutely boring movie that disappears from my head right at the beginning of the end credits.
The one on the stretcher was left alive purely to show that GG had not carried his brother in the past, but then he pulled himself together and dragged a colleague.
It's a pity that Jai Courtney got such a small role. I haven't seen him since Divergent, and I was glad, but not for long.…
You can watch it once, but no more. There's a lot of groundwork for a sequel, but does it make sense? 🤷🏻♀️
In terms of meaning, it's a bit like the cartoon "nine", but there the robots were, uh... smarter, just because the AI was created on earth, so they knew what to do. And these are intelligence.
Many assume that aliens will necessarily be more advanced than humans and that technology will be more advanced, but who says that this is true? It is quite possible that the car will have such trivial errors.
Meaning 1/5
Picture 5/5
Actors 4/5
Thanks for the evening. Oh, and the views are still great
The comments mention many times about the plot analogue of the Schwarzenegger film. But compared to Predator, the cast is less vibrant. And there's a lot more patriotism in the movie.
Despite all the flaws, the War Machine is quite a good representative of the genre of military action films.
Ps: It killed when one extinguishes a robot with a machine gun and at least the hero gets out and starts shooting with an assault rifle, as a result, the corpse is just brilliant. What kind of soldiers is a robot)
And so another brovada about American soldiers. 🤷♂️
But overall, I liked it. It's a brisk action game, and the musical component doesn't even seem to matter. And even a personal drama was brought. It's a pretty ruthless film in relation to the minor characters. The only thing I didn't like was that we didn't find out anything about the enemy in the end, and it came down to earth like in the War of the Worlds of the mecha, messed up everything and then rested from a rather stupid thing. Well, the tie was quite long (although it didn't make you get bored)
I watched it for the sake of a dose of Richson (due to the acute shortage of Reacher in my blood and on the air), and in general, I got exactly what I expected from watching it: how much Richson is needed, a lot of action, an average set of stamps, a minimum of meaning, and the pleasantly surprising complete absence (subjectively) of a cringe.
It's a one-time thing, but it's worth the time.
