Overview
After her brother's death, June moves to Milan for a fresh start, finding comfort in Will, the perfect honor student at her new international school. But when his troubled best friend James—hiding a dangerous life in clandestine MMA fights—sparks a rivalry that quickly turns into irresistible attraction, June must choose between safety and a love that upends everything she thought she wanted.

, but it's not bad.
it doesn't make much sense to find fault with this, because it's difficult to show something radically new. but still, it was sweet, banal, and a little emotional.
and for fans of this, it's just right.
Plus, the film is really beautifully and vividly shot in terms of visuals and pictures. Of course, you probably won't want to review it, but I'm not sorry for the time spent.
I decided to watch it because I've seen a lot of posts on social media, but obviously they're pushing it just because of James Hunter's cute face, because the rest? It's all banality and bullshit.
The plot and characters are as cliched as possible. Of course, there is a girl. She's new and pretty. Who knows literature, and rides a motorcycle like a real tough girl, and is all so sympathetic, and loves true colors, and is drawn to the dark. And of course, there are two guys who are friends, brooches, one is more or less good, and the other is dangerous and engaged in fighting, hot, and even "hating" our heroine at first sight (and she keeps saying that he is not her type and she will never fall in love with him, yes). It seems like it would be possible to describe a lot of films in this way and not understand which one is in question. And basically, I personally think that cliches are okay because they're iconic, but when they're presented like this, you want to grimace and forget about what you saw right after the movie ends.
What's wrong with that? * cough * all * cough*, but if we look at it in more detail…
Timing. On the very first day, friends and two guys arrive at June's head. She makes "friends" with absolutely nothing, and she trusts them so much that she allows herself to dress up like... well, not like a schoolgirl for sure. Sympathy instantly reigns with Will, and the very next day they kiss and become a couple (???), and James begins to behave like an alpha with the new girl from the first minutes (which at first looks ridiculous), and how many times during the first half of the film did he call her Snow White? So much that I started to get sick of it, because I'll tell you one secret: a nickname is cool, but not when it's mentioned through a word a hundred times.
Well, needless to say, attempts to make an adult school culture also look ridiculous. For some reason, only schoolchildren come to a serious fight. And only schoolchildren are fighting, and even big uncles are winning. Are the students working there too? Are the adults in Milan extinct?
Excessive focus on sex, banal scenes, an attempt to make schoolchildren look like adults... and this is what they are forcing now? I agree, James is cute, and maybe his chemistry with June could be considered a plus (although I personally was only hooked on chemistry by the moment in the car between them), but do people really need so little? I had a thought at the beginning that maybe I just grew out of the school theme, but then I remembered the same Maxton Hall, which I adore, and I can say that the problem is not in the theme, but in the way it is presented. Ridiculous, vulgar, lazy and uninteresting. The film will probably get a sequel due to the response on social media, but personally, I'll just forget about it as an unfortunate waste of time.
Why ask her to babysit if her older brother is at home?
In short, I don't recommend it. There are many other good works with great meaning in this genre.
