Description
The King's Speech tells the story of the man who became King George VI, the father of Queen Elizabeth II. After his brother abdicates, George ('Bertie') reluctantly assumes the throne. Plagued by a dreaded stutter and considered unfit to be king, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue. Through a set of unexpected techniques, and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country into war.
"Then I am the most powerful king of all time."
It's a good movie. A heavy burden fell on Georg. You wouldn't wish such a father and brother on an enemy. But he endured all the trials with fortitude. A historical figure who deserves respect. That he, and later Elizabeth, were strong and worthy rulers who preserved the honor and greatness of the monarchy.
The film is excellent, it's a pity that I postponed it for a long time, I will definitely review it
