Overview
After learning that a boy their age has been accidentally killed near their rural homes, four boys decide to go see the body. Gordie, Vern, Chris, and Teddy encounter a mean junk man and a marsh full of leeches, but they also learn more about one another and their very different home lives. Just a lark at first, the boys' adventure evolves into a defining event in their lives.
The ending of the film is tearful. It's always like that. Unfortunately, friends get lost after graduating from the middle class. Everyone has new ones, but not everyone remembers the old ones, with whom they always spent time, got into different situations, which are remembered to this day with a sad smile on their face. And only with time do you realize that that time was the best in your life. Time that cannot be returned.

👍 it is surprising that Corey Feldman (bespectacled) has been starring since childhood in films significant to americans of the 80s - Gremlins (1984), Stooges (1985), Stay with Me (1986), continues to act, but never became famous.

hooligans in wheelbarrows smash the post office. The boxes also reminded me of the CSI Las Vegas series. where 1 such bully was killed by a fragment of his own bat. because the owner of the box reinforced it with special equipment. and chela was imprisoned for not thinking. ub-in🤨
I have heard that there is a 30-year periodicity. nostalgia. like Generation X (born in the 1970s and had children in the 80s)
in the 2010s, it goes back to the 1980s. but in the 80s, the boomers (Stephen King) missed the 50s (Back to the Future).
spgs. this movie is a drama/reality version of "Back to the Future". like a "journey" from 1985 to the 1950s.
Very strange things about you. children-friends of the mind were homaged for the story - 4 ep. 1 season. naz. The Body. and in general, imho King transform. European children fairy tales and Mark Twain (Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn) about adventure. Children in the "kids on bikes" subgenre (without bikes, of course) - adventure. groups of teenage children.

Chris seemed to be the most deeply written character, and I liked him the most. I would like to have such a friend at any age. Therefore, the ending is perceived as painful as possible.
