Description
Clarice Starling is a top student at the FBI's training academy. Jack Crawford wants Clarice to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath, serving life behind bars for various acts of murder and cannibalism. Crawford believes that Lecter may have insight into a case and that Starling, as an attractive young woman, may be just the bait to draw him out.
9.5/10
But the book is much tastier.
The film is a bit crumpled, a lot of the books just wouldn't fit in there.
After watching the TV series Hannibal with Mads Mikkelsen as Lecter, for me Hopkins is closer to the book Hannibal, reading books you imagine Hopkins.
To understand the whole storyline of the Silence of the Lambs, it is worth reading the book)
And then watch the movie.
Hopkins' goosebumps look and amazing camerawork create an incredible psychological effect.
10/10
P.S. Although the age of the film is, of course, noticeable, but it suits him.)
