Is it even worth saying that this job is gorgeous? after all, all Tim Burton's films are like that!
Yes, the original plot was slightly changed. Olivia was a flying girl, and Emma was fiery. and Jake himself was with a flaming Emma in the original. There were no twins either.
but this does not interfere with the viewing in any way

Mysticism, an exciting story of not only the confrontation of good and evil, but also growing up, relationships with peers, loyalty, unification, the ability to find beauty in the moment. They just overdid it with the humor of the villains. It looks like a hidden dystopia

Although I have complaints about Jake. More precisely, to the actor. Somehow it faded completely out of emotion. Or it was the director's idea - to show amazing children in contrast to the gray kid. Although, maybe I'm just jealous of him? Traveling through loops, where a beautiful chan is waiting for you in one of them - what could be better?

There was also a creep moment in the film - getting to know Victor. It was unexpected and frightening. Emptiness was also scary at first, but then somehow everything descended into clowning. Along with the main villain.

As for the film, the second hour of the movie is much more interesting to watch. The first forty minutes are pretty boring, but if you've already started watching, then look to the end - you won't regret it! (if you regret it, then all the complaints are against the director, not me).

I can't compare it with the book, I haven't read it yet, but I just REALLY LIKED the movie!!! So colorful, interesting, unusual. The actress playing Miss Peregrine is simply gorgeous😍 so beautiful, sophisticated🤤 The actors are just perfectly matched! What can I say, if Tim Burton takes over the film, then it will be a masterpiece!! An incomparable movie!!!😍💝

@fb1313417: I read two books, there are several of them there, and of course it's hard for me not to compare, a lot of things didn't fit into the film, what's in the book, I'd rather make a TV series))) the atmosphere is magical, I really like to watch such films on New Year's holidays with my son, for some reason it is before the new year that such films are best visited, in the summer it is still not so)
