Overview
The Spengler family returns to where it all started - the iconic New York City firehouse - to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who've developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

In general, the script is too primitive.
I repeat my comment to the 2021 film that the 2016 remake is much more interesting, and if it weren't for the crazy aunts starring with dumb jokes, then this film adaptation was much more worthy.
The main villain is dull, not interesting, and in terms of design is not even remembered.
Catching ghosts - shown only at the beginning and at the end. And so the whole movie blah blah blah.
I didn't quite understand Phoebe's motivation for leaving the body, what she wanted to do with it, but they hinted a little at the agenda
But a lot of humor was brought into the film, marshmallow men are the main decoration of the picture
It's nice to see the old characters, the environmental protection official, but now the mayor of NY, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd. I liked the new character, who also had a great sense of humor
In terms of the plot, there is no dynamics, everything is somehow boring, and in principle logic is lame.
In terms of visual, everything is fine, although in our age this is more likely not the dignity of the film but the quality. But I liked the picture. Juicy colors, and this is basically the same in the image as in the original painting.
In general, it was interesting to watch, 2 hours flew by very unnoticed. Apart from Phoebe, the flame god and the old actors from the first parts of the Hunters, the rest seemed to not fit into the story at all.
You can also laugh in places .
Annie Potts is such a beauty, age suits her very well!
Well, I'm waiting for more films about hunters. In any case, the film is worth watching and attention)
Of the advantages that bribed me:
1) Filling the world. They finally left Gozer the Destroyer alone and pulled up the Garrak freezer. I would like to see their tandem with Gozer.
2) There is a laboratory and a new technology for studying ghosts.
3) Talking about a parallel, ghostly world, I love such things. Although it could have been more, I will wait in the future.
4) Many different ghosts.
5) Ernie Hudson has a decent time on the screen, in the original films it seems to me that he was not deservedly deprived.
The villain was not revealed.
The Hindu line is for the sake of the Hindu.
I put 3 with a huge stretch.
With bitterness in my heart, I admit that the film loses even to the female version.
A controversial movie. On the one hand, it is completely passable, on the other hand there are fascinating and interesting moments.
The graphics, the drawing are at a good level, all the shooting is of high quality, all the ghost characters are absolutely alive.
No one was particularly remembered for the actors' performance. They were all just for show. We talked through our roles and went on with our business. You don't really worry about anyone.
As a fan of the original series, I will be waiting for the sequel.
In the second part, there is also a completely canonical plot, humor has been sketched, interesting ideas: the ghost research laboratory alone is already a gold mine... But in the end, everything turned out to be chaotic, chaotic, everyone is running from location to location.
Minor characters are quite useful for the plot, but there are so many of them for the total duration of the film that they end up taking up so much screen time that it just isn't enough for the main characters....
And yes, who are the main characters now? The Spangler family or the old guard? Or both? No, I'm incredibly glad to see the old men, Bill Murray alone, appearing in the frame, sometimes gives out more charisma than some of the main characters, and this despite the fact that he obviously does not get much pleasure from filming.
The family drama against which the events of the film develop is also good, it has the right to exist in order to influence the motivation of the characters... but why is everything so clumsily molded, which causes Spanish shame in places.
Because of all this confusion, the impression of the film was as if the script was for a mini-series, but everyone overplayed and made a 2-hour film .., but at the same time they really did not want to give up all their ideas and ideas... In the end, it turned out not bad, but, unfortunately, this is clearly not the kind of movie that you want to review in a year or two.... or accidentally catching it on one of the TV channels, leave it and watch the rest...
Humor is very weak.
"Who is trapped in the ball?" Gandalf is the "Demon of the ancient world". And only a fire magician can stop him
😂 The Hindu lord of fire - Shyamalan would be pleased😆
I'm watching Sheldon's Childhood after the series closes. where Annie Potts played Sheldon's "famous" granny. And McKenna Grace was his girlfriend, to whom he was not indifferent... I mean, he couldn't stand her.😁
McKenna, by the way, recently completed 18 и
The real hunters in the film are about 20 minutes late, everything else could be thrown out. We were waiting for the wrong thing, the wrong thing!
The plot of the film is quite interesting, although not particularly original. It easily fits into the already well-known ghostbusters universe, but adds new elements that make the story fresh and relevant. The mixing of humor and horror is done competently, so that you are both scared and having fun at the same time.
However, there are several disadvantages. In places, the pace of the film seems to be a bit delayed, and some scenes could have been shortened to maintain a more dynamic narrative. Also, by the end of the film, some moments began to seem predictable, although they do not lose their appeal.
Well, as it is, I really like that they continued the original branch. There would be fewer teenagers, more adults. Apparently, they were betting on the rejuvenation of the franchise. Although we grew up with adult characters. But this also applies to the massive phenomenon of film sequels in recent years.
In short, I like this franchise in general. Of course, I won't go through the holes like the first two films, but I'm also watching them with interest. 😁
It was a joy to see the marshmallow men Topchik And the green ghost again )
So far, this is the most successful resurrection of old idols in recent years. )
