Beautiful nature, good movies, if you like movies about survival.

about 2/3 of the film (before the bear attack) is very good. It's interesting to watch the adventures and interactions of the characters. but the last part (the survivor himself) is kind of vague, empty wandering through the forest without at least some understanding of his actions. There's really no goal, no plan.
another point that confused me was the stories with the finger and the man. Why were they needed at all? they don't really affect anything at all (yes, she learned with a man that it is necessary to crawl along the waterfall from the right side, but this is very frivolous). cut - the timekeeping will decrease by 30 minutes without loss of quality.
the last thing I wanted to say, but this is not a reproach to the film, just a note. It's about "based on real events". in reality, nothing like this was even close. the couple traveled in a motorhome. They stopped. the woman went to sleep, and the man fell asleep outside by the campfire. the woman woke up, came out, saw a bloody trail, screamed-searched, did not find it, the network also does not catch, started the car and left for help to the man's father. so if you like movies based on real events, then remember that this may not even be close to a real case.
well, in general, I rather liked the film, although I could have cut it boldly for 30 minutes or even more.

@izkrys: it's no longer relevant, of course, but I'll answer anyway: the situation with the finger was to show that Alex hung a bloody sock to dry on a branch, which, in fact, led the bear to them. I more than agree with the rest, but I thought it was a movie about a couple of Marc Jordan and Jacqueline Perry, although their story is also significantly different from what was shown in the film.

@lithiumks: Thank you. It's quite relevant, I still haven't figured it out. maybe he was looking at it inattentively. although again, this is such an insignificant detail like a man with a waterfall, which wastes time, and an accidental bear is no less scary.

@lithiumks: there, the name of the park or forest sounded at the beginning. I searched by his name

It's okay to look at the background, but to look closely from beginning to end... I don't know. Perhaps the cinema is simply fed up with such plots, and survival for the sake of survival (also not in the best possible way) is not perceived.

I also didn't like the actress's performance for gg at all. I don't want to empathize at all.

I'll never be able to understand people who go into the woods where there are bears. It seems to me that such people are not quite okay.
