Overview
December 1941. Leningrad. The story centers on the main character, who, together with other employees, saves zoo animals from shelling. The people themselves are on the brink of life and death, but they do not abandon the hippopotamus named Krasavitsa.

I also liked that all the animals are real, not computer graphics. As far as I know, they weren't forced to do tricks there and they behaved as naturally as possible.
Bogdanov is becoming more and more revealed as the director and director of such stories.
The plot is based on real events and shows real stories and the power of rallying people in difficult times, as well as their direct relationship to animals.
many scenes turn your soul inside out and make you empathize. There are really a lot of touching moments here.
and of course, it is worth noting Aronova's work. her voice and emotions were perfect for both the main narrator and the Beauty herself.
As the grandson of a blockade survivor, my grandmother tried not to tell me about the horrors of the war. I understand... She didn't want us to be touched by these horrors. But now, I understand that we need to talk about this, we need to make such films, we need to bring children to cinemas and talk about the exploits of the people who saved us all many, many years ago. So that today's children themselves would want to go to the monuments and the graves of the defenders and lay flowers and say thank you to them.
///The only known Cat is Max (1937-1957). He survived the blockade with Vera Nikolaevna's family.///
The children were then taken on field trips.
And after the war, they conducted a cat landing. The tailed ones were imported from the "mainland". :-)
