Description
After seven months have passed without a culprit in her daughter's murder case, Mildred Hayes makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at Bill Willoughby, the town's revered chief of police. When his second-in-command Officer Jason Dixon, an immature mother's boy with a penchant for violence, gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing's law enforcement is only exacerbated.
Also, it's the best movie I've ever seen in a movie theater. I can still remember the ending, the credits, and I'm sitting in a chair, and I'm thinking, yes, this is what I need. I felt euphoria at that moment!
Rockwell and McDormand simply shine in their roles!
And the scene for the song Monsters of Folk - His Master's Voice - I even watched it several times separately from the film, how cool it was shot.
And it's also funny, after the Banshee Initiative, to notice Kerry Condon here.
And McDonagh just made me fall in love with himself in one movie.. (and for good reason, every movie is great)
The actors are playing great.
