Overview
With the price on his head ever increasing, John Wick uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.

They spoke for the continuation both then and now. It is logical that it will be sooner or later with such success at the box office anyway. And here is another confirmation of that above.
The film is similar to previous versions, it also has a little dialogue and various chatter, more action, action, dynamics if you want – in general, all three hours of watching this particular "mess" in this it has perhaps become the most different from its previous versions. 👍 fans are definitely ready to watch 💯
There is great hope for a possible sequel. The waiting list is activated.
When John has to break his back again, you stop "believing" in what is happening.
Everything is juicy in Japan👌🏽
The blind man was generally annoying all the time, we were told earlier that John was almost the coolest specialist in his field, and this one copes with all tasks without looking at all.
The theme of the man is that no one has been revealed at all, why he needs money, who he is in general, why he keeps a diary about John as a teenage girl.
Only Winston pleases, dresses stylishly, constantly finds benefits, has been getting high for 4 films in a row, while everyone is cooking in the thick of things.
In general, I think that it is necessary to stop in time. The first part - one love ❤
But it is clearly shown that the Blind (at John's level) cannot cope:
1. John could have shot him at the hotel, but he regretted it because he saw how helpless the Blind Man was.
2. The Blind Man managed to kill Shimazu because he was seriously injured before their fight.
3. As they climb the stairs to the Sacre Coeur, John tells the Blind Man where the enemy is.
4. Before the duel, the Blind Man strikes John's right hand so that he is forced to shoot with his left.
5. But John has his own plans for this duel, so he brings it to ten steps...
I just didn't understand how he identified his cards when playing? They're obviously not special. If only the local kingpin marked them for himself and the Blind Man saw through this feature.
Japan is a delight for the eyes. The actors, the locations, the music are on the same level. The rest is somehow more caricatured.
Throughout the film, the action was pleasing. So there was an urge to review previous films)
Overall, I was very pleased with the film, especially since I went to see it in the cinema.
The end was a bit surprising, but it's hard to believe in such a "fat dot")
On the stage with the stairs, he laughed appreciatively and almost gave out the famous from the Matrix to the whole cinema "Why Mr. Anderson, why? In the name of what? What are you doing? Why are you getting up? Why do you keep fighting? Do you really believe in some kind of mission, or are you just afraid to die?"
It's a pity that Reddick was given 2 minutes of screen time here - I hoped that there would be more of it in the film, considering that this is his last work.
Well, of course, there are enough rzhachny moments. My favourite:
1. In the opening scene, when King Bowler walks through the subway and quotes Dante... Where are there such giant doors in the subway like in a monastery? ))
2. John " I Never go out the door" Wick flies out of the 5th floor, lands on the van, gets up and leaves.
3. The cartoon bandit is a villain with golden teeth. Honestly, I should have called Stas Baretsky.
4. - Instead of me, Cain will fight a duel with pistols.
*Cain sits and thinks, "Does this idiot even know that I'm blind?"*
5. Does Nobody's dog have the nickname Eggs, or is it still a team? :D
The result is a great movie - I got exactly what I expected. Insanely stylish juicy picture, cool Keanu, top choreography of fights, a mix of styles (there are westerns and Kurosawa, and game shooting with a view from above) and stupid, illogical, but very funny moments with a ton of pathos))
Blind, of course, but damn it. Maybe he's really cool, but as far as I'm concerned, his character hasn't been revealed. It doesn't feel cool. The Negro with the dog is even cooler. But the character is also far-fetched.
As a result, for myself, the first part is the best. The second watchable one. This one is very long.
Everything is very cool, the details are amazing!
I'll go to the cinema to see it again)
Но если в подобных моментах приостановить неверие, кино шикарное.
I started with a guy in a Japanese hotel who was constantly hitting the glass stuff and falling to the floor, he got up once and hit it..
And yet, what beautiful shots are in the film, and the whole movie is such that it feels like they're all there on their own!
I really liked the moment with the nunchucks. Without any pirouettes and unnecessary waving in front of the enemy. Stupidly, as they thought, he hammered at the enemies. It's very late.
The revenge of the daughter of a man from Japan is very interesting.
The action movie scene shot from above reminds me of Hotline Miami, although the director refuses to mention the game The Hong Kong Messacre.
I noticed drawdowns on the graphics in the chase are very strong at the Arc de Triomphe, which was not previously noticed for this franchise.
The open question is who is our Mr. Nobody?
He was guided through the whole movie for a reason.
A special bow to the floor for the soundtrack, especially for the Mick Jagger cover.
Well, the moment when John saved the dog is in the very heart...
It was a pleasure to watch the locations with shootouts and fights.
However, the dude with the dog has not yet been revealed, the intrigue has been abandoned. She did not believe in John's death, she thought that they would make it look like yes, but in fact, in this way, he would become free, as he wanted.
And sho, was it possible?!"
Everything would be very sad if it weren't for the charismatic characters that are conditionally good, conditionally bad and conditionally evil. Throughout the first half of the film, Donnie Yen, the honored Ip Man of cinema, dragged the picture on his shoulders in the role of a blind hired killer, retired, Cain. Naturally, in the best traditions of the Godfather, he was dragged back to eliminate his former partner and still friend, John. By the way, this is not the first role of a blind fighter in Ian's career - before that, he used force in all sorts of places in Star Wars: Rogue One. I already sinfully thought that the actor really had something bad going on with his eyesight (spoiler: no). But oddly enough, the selection of excellent characters does not end there and Donnie Ian does not have to hold attention alone: here you have the owner of the Tokyo "Continental " performed by Hiroyuki Sanada (the Scorpion from the recent "Mortal Kombat " and in general a great actor), and the whole mysterious Hunter, he is also "Mr. Nobody " (explicit greetings the film "Nobody", which became the new successful franchise of Derek Kolstad, the original author "John Wick "), and Scott Adkins (the trilogy "Indisputable " and in general a regular of the genre and a master of his craft), who will be rich- his makeup is such that you can't figure it out without half a liter, and Clancy Brown in the role of a Harbinger (I won't list the filmography of a man, but you will definitely exclaim " Ah, well, this is the guy from that movie / TV series / game!"). Bill Skarsgard also successfully coped with the role of a nasty, slimy villain who got to power - in general, the image of a kind of antagonist from the James Bond films of Pierce Brosnan's time turned out (in particular, Die, but not now). Well, the old (in every sense) guard: Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Laurence Fishburne - does not fail once again.
In general, if it weren't for humor and fiercely charismatic characters, it would hardly have worked out to reach the middle on one action, of course. And then something inexplicable happens. About the minute I stopped calling Donnie Yen as "Tony Jaa", heh, the movie gets a second wind (or rather: the first and main one). The film in general seems to be starting, and everything that happened before (again: except for the prologue) could and should have been reduced to twenty or thirty minutes at most, getting rid of monotonous shootouts and hand-to-hand fighting. Rumor has it that the original length of the picture was even longer - the editor cut out another hundred minutes, and Keanu Reeves himself attached himself to the final timing, removing many scenes between him and the Hunter in postproduction, they say, they slow down the action. And there is a suspicion that Reeves removed the wrong thing - the interaction between Wick and Nobody is just interesting.
In short, as soon as John Wick gets to Paris, all the participants in the picture (both in the frame and behind the frame), who were previously dull brown substances, suddenly acquire mojo. Literally, scene after scene is fire in the literal and figurative senses. There is an unknown intensity of idiocy (in a good sense and realized by the authors) and cynicism, and something mind-blowing in terms of staging and stylistic finds (for example, if you played Hotline Miami or Hong Kong Massacre - you will shout out loud with delight, and if you did not play, then just applaud for the artistic reception which took many months at all stages of the film's filming, including pre-production and post-production), and references to classics (from Sergio Leone's westerns to Walter Hill's Warriors and religious metaphors associated with paintings in the Louvre), and all this leads to deserved for all the final. For seemingly tired authors, for seemingly tired viewers, for seemingly tired characters. And you know what? After the finale, I want to continue. "John Wick 4" literally managed to force himself to hate on the move, and then fell in love with the franchise again. Yes, by the way, about the fifth part: the original plans for shooting the fourth and fifth films butt to butt were covered with a copper basin during the pandemic, and in general, the future of direct sequels is quite vague. I have no doubt that it will happen, but whether it will happen soon is another question. Well, in addition to everything that happens at the end, the authors show one of the most dramatic scenes after the credits, during which you shout: "Nooo! Bastards, what are you doing?". And the joke almost from the beginning of the film, which in the sense of the situation and the phrase, strongly resembles the "Killbill ": "When you grow up, you will find me ", acquires generally not funny consequences, given everything that has happened during this time. However, for some reason I have confidence that this character and many others from this part will definitely return in one form or another again.
Summing up a certain almost ten-year result, I am sincerely glad that both halves of the directing duo responsible for the creation of the legend of John Wick have not lost their grip: that David Leitch, having left the series after the first film, is experimenting, giving out some of the most hurricane-like diverse and memorable action films (Deadpool,#34;Explosive Blonde", "Hobbs and Shaw", "Nobody", "Faster than a bullet") that Chad Stahelski, remaining loyal to the series to the end, is not mired in self-replays, and with "Wycombe " under his leadership, there was no stagnation. Of course, Hollywood won't stop there (with or without Stahelski), but if you leave, you can't think of a better moment.
Rating: 8 excommunicado out of 10
If I hadn't seen the poster of the 5th part, I would have burst into tears at the end. Looking forward to the continuation.
And you can also read the news, where Reeves and Stahelski discuss what the fifth part will tell about.
P.S.: A poster is an artistically designed poster (not necessarily a poster in the strict sense of the word). 🤪
2. The ending is great - you can interpret it as you want. There will be a sequel - he was forced to fake death so that he could live in peace. There will be no continuation - he died with dignity, fighting to the end...
Well, in short, Bollywood of some kind. It is absolutely impossible to watch this seriously.
