Adult Swim has renewed "Rick and Morty" for two more seasons

A teaser for the show's eighth season was also revealed at New York Comic Con.

At New York Comic Con, Adult Swim Studios unveiled a teaser for the new installment of "Rick and Morty" and also announced that they are working on at least two more seasons. The eighth season will be released in 2025, and thanks to the renewal, fans can expect new episodes to be released all the way through 2029.

The adult animated series, created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, is about a genius sociopathic scientist who engages his naturally timid grandson in insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.

Ian Cardoni will continue to voice Rick, while Harry Belden will voice Morty. Both have taken over voicing key characters since season seven following Roiland's departure from the project.
