Nicole Kidman was surprised by her role in the movie "Babygirl" when she saw the script. However, it was the title of Halina Reijn's movie that immediately caught her attention.

"I love the title. So, I was like, 'Oh! I'd like to be a Babygirl", — shares the actress. After reading the script, she was "completely sort of hypnotized" by its very modern look at women’s sexuality, but also just desire and who we are authentically as people and whether we’re loved for who we are.

In the film, which will be released on December 25, Kidman plays the role of Romy — a successful CEO of a packaging company. She has everything: a loving husband, two daughters, a luxury apartment in Manhattan and a house outside the city. But behind the facade of success lies a woman who doesn't know how to be herself. Romy begins a "progressive exploration" of her sexuality, breaking the usual genre stereotypes where men dictate the rules. A key role in Romy's transformation will be played by a young intern Samuel.
