Golden Globes Awards 2025: nominees for the award announced

The Golden Globe Awards, the precursor to the Oscars, held its nominations announcement ceremony on December 9. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 5, 2025 on CBS. Nikki Glaser will host the ceremony.
"Emilia Pérez" is leading the nominations. The movie received ten mentions — more than any other movie or television series. The project broke the record previously held by "Barbie", which received a total of nine nominations last year.
It is followed by "The Brutalist" with seven nominations, "Conclave" with six, "Anora" and "The Substance" with five each. "The Bear" leads among TV projects with five nominations, followed by shows "Only Murders in the Building" and "Shōgun", with four nominations each.
Overall, Netflix leads among distributors with 26 nominations (13 for movies, 23 for TV series). A24 follows with 12 nominations in movies, and HBO Max is second in TV with 14 nominations.

The Golden Globe Awards recognize excellence in film and television. Last year, nominations were added for achievements in film and box office receipts in movies, as well as for best role in a stand-up comedy on television.

Critics have already looked at it, it happens. Emmy is more honest in this regard. The bet is that at the time of the announcement of the winners, the series will just be on the hype.

Well, the Brutalist is a film about a Jewish Holocaust survivor. Jews in Hollywood are probably not worth talking about.
In short, these two films will take away most of the awards.
And the limited series has been a miniseries all its life, not a limited series. 😆
